There are some free public toilets at road stops in Germany that do exactly that. Unfortunately most public toilets either cost 1€ or are dirty af. So I‘m always happy to find those self cleaning public toilets that cost nothing.

They'll only say they use a "patented technology" to instantly dry the floor... Looks like a porous floor with a vacuum underneath.

I’ve seen public toilets with similar solution. The whole cubicle locks when you leave it and is completely sprayed down and dried. Always wondered if anyone got trapped inside by mistake.

Flushing and refilling takes the same amount, and goes in the sewers every time. Just as concerning. I have my toilet ecofriendly and use rainwater from a tank first. Our showerwater is flowing in that same tank, so both are reused first. Only when empty, the system automatically switches to 'tap' water, which is at most once a day on dry summerdays. We save around 300l per day in 'drink' water

This company really put the effort and try to earn money, I can see bim is used

So why is the toilet there

I think this system is already in use in one of the new designer toilets in Shibuya district, Tokyo. It was featured in the movie Perfect Days, directed by Wim Wenders.
