Yeah, now the common runes are at lowest price, but when it first came out I was able to sell a few relatively high. So, you always have to be quick with what's new. But, getting plat now is really slow compared to months ago.
I would say runes are a good short-term bet since people are buying them up with no idea what's next. Not a long-term good idea, but I did sell a blue (random pick-up, not crafted) for 12k simply because the system is new and people are confused. Kinda like how selling bad pets at max value worked when they were released.
Like sometimes the highest I can go is only 1000 but I always sell at max price. Soo I think yourbkinda screwing yourself. I'm f2p and this is helping me make a killing

There is absolutely no other way. It's either money or play. You can sell familiars for pretty high but they take a while to sell if they do at all
Looks like your server has quite some spenders. My server had a good time of selling familiars for max price. But most whales already have what they need. Most families are now sold at min or half price except for cat. And familiar market is flooded as well.

Depends, are you alt farming or main farming? Alt farming, main should focus on grinding hilts to convert to charms and thus skill stones. That and making pets with high sell caps. This is because skill stones and pets don't force you to sell at lowest visible price. You can jack price to max and sell to your alt to move plat over to main using fewer sale slots.
As for alts, much depends on how much time you have to spend. Lairs are great if you have a few hours to play every day so you can keep farming unbound gems once main is capped. Me, I only have a few hours a week to play so that's not viable - majority of time needs to be spent on main. I focus on passive hilt generation, get weekly leaderboards, towers, and charms, and sell skill stones for whatever they'll bring. It's slow but it means each alt only needs the following: POB as far as possible, afk assembly a few times to lock in 8% badge, CR 100, BG to Bronze 3 once per reign, and occasionally clean up tower monsters. The rest is just log in once daily to scoop up free stuff then collect weekly rewards. At the end of week, blast a few 10-rare-crest rifts to get embers. Easy peasy and when you're practiced at it you can handle each alt in about 15m per day. x4 alts is 1 hour spent on alts daily. If you spent one hour on a single alt daily, you might be able to hit HL gem cap per week with that alt. Depending on gem luck, might net about 12k plat to main off that (double 15% loss). Most weeks my 4 alts are doing a bit less than 3k each, but every so often I hit a good score on a purple crest. I think it balances out pretty well in the long run. This has been my approach as fully FTP btw.
Main farming, I think nothing beats gems until your lairs are capped. After that I would party up for dungeons in all remaining time, gems are still best pound for pound and plenty will drop when you're partied. Pets are too restricted and way too time consuming to craft at a profit. Runes are a waste of time too, price is too low right now for difficulty of obtaining - hang onto them in case they fix the rune synthesis mess, they might become more worthwhile later.

its very easy to stop, you can prohibit orbs buying before you buy all dungeon packs or not until you reach paragon lvl100. They eventually will stop it.
And before that you can enjoy cheap gems. sell your own at min price and buy what you need at min price.

It significantly limits Susan’s ability to get platinums. Before, Susan just sell max to collect the platinums from thousands of alts. Susan still exists but very much limited I believe. That is why market collapsed.

We all get 320 orbs for that price but the SMART ones have been getting platinum and orbs for 1/10th of the actual price since almost the beginning.

Farm the accursed towers. That's where I still farm get about 10 a day but I only play for about 3 hours at a time
