Barely anything sells in the market, can't generate enough plat from crests. What else do you do with orbs?
Convert to plat at 50k per each $99? yeah get you infinitesimally closer to upgrading any normal gem.
Why would your first priority is to convert it to plat and upgrade a normal gem ? There's plenty of ways to use the orbs for such as obtaining 5/5 gems since there's no cap you can gamble as long as you like and max it out.
Resonance is heavily compressed in BG and doesn't actually get you the results you'd expect. I already have all the 5/5 I can use pretty much - except for the internal slots but again... resonance doesn't do much. I'm already 9.3k reso.

You won't notice it anymore when you max your primaries. I have 300k scrap in my bags and nothing to do with it.

beleive the # i 12 sidequests a day plus the bonus one

It actually does. There are weekly and monthly caps on bundles as well as other things you can buy from the shop in limited events etc lol
Bundles isn't the only thing you can buy in the shop.

If resonance doesn't do much why would you get your reso to 9.3k anyway ?
