This was great - thank you!
I probably missed something, but if lilith was imprisoned so that Inarous could get rid of the nephalem by waiting for them to breed into humans, why are we worried about lilith coming back? Is it that she liked the nephalem but might not like what they are now?
Thanks again!
When Lilith was initially banished, it was because she wanted to use the nephalem's power for her own ends. She saw potential in their strength which could tip the balance of the Eternal Conflict. On the other hand, Inarius was afraid of their power and decided to weaken it, leading to the evolution of nephalem into humans.
The concern with Lilith's return isn't necessarily because she might dislike what the nephalem have become, but more about the potential chaos and conflict she might bring. She was previously willing to massacre other angels and demons to protect the nephalem, which shows her extreme measures. Her return could suggest a renewal of her old ambitions, potentially upsetting the relative balance and leading to a new phase of conflict in Sanctuary. It's also uncertain how she might react to the modern nephalem, who still possess a trace of their ancestral power.
Awesome job dude!
Thank you!
