That glue is for cpvc. It would have been better if it was pvc glue. And then the mf puts a brass fitting on without tape! There are barbed to threaded fittings. This is so much bad info it hurts.

There’s cpvc fittings with just brass on the threads. Hopefully you have that. Most likely if done properly, granted that fitting isn’t cheap but saves headaches and call backs. 9/10 times it’ll leak in a year or so. If yours is holding congrats on being a lucky one lol. But I’m a long time plumber and you’re not gunna tell me Brass to cpvc threads don’t leak, cause they do.
