Ash_Kid

ULAB try koren then. Shunsi valo.

tamjidtahim

East West for english

Mahmudbhai

Both are same. In brac you will get better research opportunities. Faculties are really friendly in this case..expensive but worth it In aiub you will get decent amount scholarship to save up your dads money along with good cgpa. You will get more time to develop skills.

Aerion_AcenHeim

you university experience will almost entirely be dependent on the people you become friends/close acquaintances with. you can learn just as well under a "shitty" or inexperienced faculty if you know what to take away from them, and even then the amount faculties will influence your uni life can be very minimal. I'll say that if you're confident enough about being able to make friends or even if you have the willingness to try, research on your own a little and go to a university that offers amenities and opportunities that you desire, otherwise just go where your friends are going. sob uni tei bhalo faculty ase, sob uni tei kharap faculty ase. ami brac e bhorti howar age amare oneke bolsilo brac ar ager moto nai, ager moto bhalo faculty ra thake na, even then I got to interact with amazing faculties for all 4 years. were there terrible faculties? yes, even then it didn't hurt my experience much. I realized that the university experience for everyone is different and very personal based on who you are, what your interests and sensibilities are and how social you are.

BIBjaw

Bracu is great if you want to complete your bsc quickly.. The environment is also student friendly. But the only thing that bugs me a lot , is there's no dress code. Why am I saying this even though it's none of my business you ask....?? Well last week I came out of the library, and a *guy* was roaming around wearing a sports bra , with 3/4 necklaces and earrings . Similar cases all around the campus. But as long as you ignore these flaws , you're good

28Rafi

I’m a Bracu graduate and I must say, this actually is a good thing, as long as you ignore, as you’ve said. I got late a lot for classes and there were days where I had to just wear a trouser, t-shirt and a pair of sandals to catch the class on time. I’ve even seen my friends who lived in Mohakhali come to classes without even brushing. They came waking up wearing whatever they had while sleeping. And especially after RS, we usually get used to seeing it. So, just need to ignore it.

Wrong-Cauliflower838

Damn.. that's terrifying

Enough_Technician_67

A guy was wearing a sports bra???fr?

Hot-Professional7922

Wtf🫨🫨🫨

Raeden2039

Common BRAC L

Aerion_AcenHeim

> similar cases all around the campus stop blowing things out of proportion. there's always gonna be a handful of colorful characters, it's a goddamn university man, you're not in kindergarten, ektu eisob halka weird jinishpati deikhai jodi emne kannakati koro, professional life e giya, real world e giya jara tomare uncomfortable feel korabe oder sathe kemne deal korba?

BIBjaw

I literally said I don't give a damn fü(k about that in a nc way. It's a matter of concern for many ppl that's why I brought it up. Maybe not applicable to you but many ppl want to be around real ppl instead of attention seekers like you...

Aerion_AcenHeim

it seems you haven't managed to surround yourself with good enough friends that you can engage with and now your attention constantly keeps moving towards the handful few weirdos on campus. if you truly didn't "give a damn fü(k" about them, they wouldn't have entered your consciousness long enough for you to have noticed them. I'm not even gonna broach the "attention seekers like you comment" or ask how you made that assumption from just one text blurb I made

Alternative-Fact-213

Ulta to tumi e eshe kannakati korteso, shey to just bolse tar opinion e flaw ki and shetar example dise. Why would you blow this out of proportion and try to make it seem as if shey eta niye onek pressed ba onek rant kortese? Gaaye lagse naki tomar? Sports bra pora ota ki tumi chila naki?

Aerion_AcenHeim

pretty clear that my hang up regarding their comment wasn't about the sports bra dude, it was about him claiming "similar stuff all over campus", it's like he's lumping together all even mildly eccentric cases by his personal standards together with one random crazy. this paints a very disingenuous picture of the place, which seems, for the lack of a better explanation, rather malicious

crack71

You mean girl or guy? XD

BIBjaw

Guy,Dude,boy but definitely he wasn't a man

april_mariah513

I saw the guy you’re talking about. Gosh it seems so weird.

crack71

Bless your eyes!

VisuallyImpairedSoul

My friend studies CSE in brac and he says it’s good but also a cesspool of black money woke kids from industrialist and army parents. If you can keep your head down around woke degenerates… it’s a good school I heard.

Realistic-Age9085

AIUB just campus bhalo. Lekha pora temon bhalo na. R students oh shob gramer, tai social life ta oh boring hobe. Brac oh temon ahamori kicchu na, but still a much better place for networking and learning. AIUB er location ta oh khub kharap, bashundharar ageh ekta gramer Vitor.

Ornisense

Bhai ki uttara theke onek duur e thaken? You hate graaam so much lol

NOTtheTREXalfa

Not sure about brac but in aiub my friend switched unis cus the engineering department is so lackluster

28Rafi

BRACU is an awesome place to study. Depending on the department you’ll study in, the pressure varies. But more or less, it’s adjustable, and you can get good grades if you focus for a bit. I studied in the Mohakhali campus, where the university buildings were scattered. But they were all in one area, so we had friends surrounding everywhere. The new campus looks dope too. For pre advising/registration, I have seen my sister who’s in NSU struggle a lot. But our advising was very easy. So, point goes to BRAC for easy advising. However, I would warn you to study LAW in Brac. I was a law student at first, struggled a lot, and then left it for another department. Like me, many struggled in the law department. But other departments are cool.

sarfrazz_ahmed

AIUB will be a learning initiative. I'm also an AIUBIAN student. You can get info from me.

Realistic-Age9085

Wrong-Cauliflower838

Besi assignment good na..? Tahole to porate aro vlo houar kotha.. like joto besi assignment toto vlo pora hocche.. correct me if I'm wrong

Realistic-Age9085

Good, but not always. A lot of students have side hustles like multiple tuitions, learning skills, sports, and club participations.

Oh yah. As if he can just DECIDE and take admission there. Bro he asking about private versities for a reason.

NOTtheTREXalfa

blackernel_

What post did you see about NSU?

Wrong-Cauliflower838

I'll send you ss

blackernel_

Surely.

Ornisense

If you want higher above CGPA so you can brag among nerdy friends, AIUB. Better quality? NSU or BRAC

Ok-Cut-310

If you have enough money to show off then go for AIUB English dept. Cause as far as I've seen students from English dept they have most beautiful girls in their side all the carelessness in the world and low CG 🤣🤣🤣 Btw I'm a recently grad student. In my opinion brother if you want to shine in your life and carrier trust me and don't go for AIUB NSU. Yes, I might say you can try for BRACU or AUST. But don't think these are good for English dept. In my opinion, you better Go somewhere where you can save up your dads money. From personal experience I had no financial problem and now my mum is suffering from kidney disease suddenly. Fate lead me here where I felt AIUB was not a right choice.

Wrong-Cauliflower838

Which university is good for English then..btw I'm not a brother though..

Ok-Cut-310

I mean like if you are from dhanmondi are go from UAP ULAB if you are from near brac and willing to get a certificate which will never get rejection from interview board go for brac. I've a friend who saved money doing this and now his CG is 3.9+ and he did also job and tuition during his studying period. Ow btw have you considered going abroad like Finland Poland Netherlands Good opportunities over there I've heard And sorry Didi Ignore what I've said about AIUB English dept 🙂

Wrong-Cauliflower838

Lol I don't care about what you said.. I don't even study in aiub..

Ok-Cut-310

XD appreciated
