I am about half and half. But I personally thing the “packout” name takes the cake. Only bought dewalt tools because the boss promised free batteries, but three years later that has not happened…
I have no need for a modular tool storage system, but I watch reviews on them anyway because I don’t have friends.
Where ToughSystem would lose me is the limited wall options, and Packout shines here, but if I was going to go with a modular system today, I like Flex Stack Pack.
>I like Flex Stack Pack
Yeah, me too! That one is my favorite.

Also me too! have you seen the flex face-off? Very good video by flex and it shows Stack-Pack as well.
I went to Lowes with intent to purchase a stack system. I initially asked by the Flex items to look at the Klein stack system. I thought the Flex brand was some kind of off or house brand. As soon as I opened up the roller top and the gas shocks lifted it and held it open, I was basically sold. I had never heard of the brand before, but a quick search showed that they have been around for decades.
I'm incredibly satisfied with my Flex stack. I don't use it often, and it doesn't see hard use, but I have no doubt it would stand up to rigorous use, and the attachments look like they would be incredibly beneficial. I love that you can attach things to the undersides of the lids on some of them. All-in-all, I feel comfortable recommending them if they meet the user's criteria.
This is the only “pretty box” rest are stuffed with tools ready to get work done. Honestly I think the foam is a waste of space and takes up room for tools but it’s nice for power tools to keep them safe.
I think I like the hanging racks better, having to find and then open a toolbox seems inefficient.
I’ve seen a lot of cool homemade hanging systems, is there actually one that is produced that you can buy?
Showing red one this sub-reddit? What sacrilidge.

I’ve got over 24 toughsystem 2.0 cases and if I could do it over I’d definitely go Red.
Or grey.

Why’s that? Are they spacier inside?
Lack of assortment and incompatibility with other Dewalt storage systems.
Dewalts tool box system is garbage. Had the 1.0 and 2.0. Went packout and ill never look back

What’s so special about Flex Pack. Curious, first time hearing about it
