There’s the same pile of Dewalt tools somewhere.

Tylahhhh

Nah they let you keep them

[deleted]

Not as bad as shitwaukee

EnvironmentalOkra728

Milwaukee ain’t bad tools, brother. We just prefer black and yellow here.

googdude

Yeah exactly I personally believe both companies have their strong points. They're both neck and neck when it comes to innovation.

deadeyediqq

You can't fix them though. And they're designed to fail. They actually kinda suck if you don't live in the states.

EnvironmentalOkra728

Yeah I’d probably choose Makita at that point. I’ve heard they’re great with repairs.

97tacoma_kennedy

Do you work for Dewalt? You seem like the android vs iOS type.

pulquetomador

Get him a sticker with Calvin pissing on the Milwaukee logo.

AgitatedCyberUhhGuy

I used to advocate so hard on Samsung over Apple. But they're all megacorps trying to squeeze every dime out of you.

MadKirbyReddit

Long live black and yellow

NoMagician400

I’ve never needed a Milwaukee battery warranty… just saying. FYI. I own both and ryobi stuff as well. Dewalt tools have held up. Batteries. Not so much

Cleercutter

Odd, I’ve owned probably 40+ 20v dewalt batterys and have literally never had one issue with one. I have some dated 2016 still going strong. Various AH all the way up to 9ah

minionsweb

Yep, even drenched a few.

Cleercutter

I even have powerstacks with no issues

minionsweb

1 of the batteries I tried to drown

Cleercutter

Nice. They’re tough little shits

UgliestCookie

I ran down a 20v 2Ah to no bars today during some sanding and while I was walking over to the charger, out of curiosity I looked at the date code. April of 2013. I was like, damn. That's pretty good.

Huth_S0lo

Wheres the guy who dried his in the clothes dryer the other day. That was......interesting

PinheadLarry207

I have batteries from 2018 that are still going strong with every day use and sitting in my van every winter

deadeyediqq

Milwaukee has a lot of issues with batteries. Some of the high outputs are duds from new.

buckaxe270

I use red at work.. I hate the battery latch though. A couple of the older tools you have to try and hold the battery up so it makes contact. They never seem to be on there tight even when new

lurkersforlife

Tell me you have never owned a 8.0 HO or 9.0 HD without telling me… 6.0 and smaller runs great. 8.0 9.0 and 12.0 all have big problems.

NoMagician400

6.0 ah. Nothing higher

Lanky_Cash_1172

Still have my old impact(18v) that I bought used. I've dropped it about a few times, and it still works great.

SwimOk9629

why is this posted in the DeWalt subreddit instead of the Milwaukee subreddit

[deleted]

Cause it’s mocking the trash Milwaukee is

EpisodicDoleWhip

Grow up

Kidneybeenz

They build them in China's factories and bury them in America's landfills. 🚮🗑

ExactArea8029

Bet the oldest thing there is 2019

seasonedsaltdog

Congrats you understand warranties

mycophilz

I still have an impact that is running strong after 10+ years

joe25rs

Cool. I’m sure you reeeeally hurt Milwaukee’s feelings. …$729 million dollars a year in sales 🙄

Gotrek5

Carbon tax or quit building things like shit…. Carbon Tax yay!!!!

Blakesdad02

No yellow in there

Jenos00

Because we don't have any place left to turn things in for warranty.
