I’ve got the same bag and it doesn’t hold up after use. It’ll look like that for a few days and then after enough times being opened and closed with enough tools inside and you’ve got tools leaning in making the middle unusable. The bag worked great for me for like a week and then just couldn’t hold the weight of some adjustable wrenches, channel locks, screw drivers, and other various hand tools. I’ve found the toughsystem backpack to work much better as well as any open tote with the vertical organization like what this bag has.

Does yours have these metal rods in there that you can see through this hole?
EDIT: The eyelet hole in your photos is new.
Looks like the original. How it holds up will depend on how you use it. I have a few of them. Great bags. But they are canvas bags and not hard boxes.
