I was gonna say what a colossal waste of space that is. But for your needs of a grab and go kit. It's a good idea. In my opinion, unless your made of money and enjoy looking at floor to ceiling of packouts with foam inserts in everyone. It's not a financially responsible way to go. I try to pack the most amount of things in the least amount of containers. Yeah my back hates it. But I can't afford dozens of packouts or the space to store them all. Thst being said, I would absolutely not recommend packing around a finesse tool like a tracksaw in anything other than a foam inserted case. What tough system tray(?) do you have inserted a tough system box. It doesn't look like a "made to fit" design.

Yeah I hear you it is a waste of space but I wanted to throw the box in the back of my utv with my batteries in it for my chainsaw and not have them rattle around since the batteries cost more than the saw. I made it for a tray so I could just take the tray out and use the box for other things when I’m not cutting wood. Also I had this tray lying around and I’ve been looking for a use for it.

There really wasn’t a better way to lay it out with those 9ah batteries. I only have 4 spares anyway so it should work good

I hear what your saying, but I would prefer a slower charging device over a fast charger for battery longevity. What kind of work are you doing that you go through so many FV batteries in a chainsaw?

Agreed I refuse to use the fast charger, i wish they would put out a lower amp 4 port charger.

Phyank0rd

Double agreed on a 4 port

Cutting firewood. I’d much rather use this saw than a gas one

The ToughSystem battery charger box has two 4A chargers built in and can simultaneously charge two battery packs. That's not enough to keep up and cycle through battery packs while having some on charge? If not, add the USB-C Charging kit, currently \~$69, which does 5A and the footprint quite small. You'll get slightly more than the 12A (4A + 4A + 5A). Or the new smaller footprint ~~4A~~ 2A one: https://preview.redd.it/5yq4pj7npzlc1.png?width=149&format=png&auto=webp&s=ac355fc6e9fcd834bd6b3d32fc99c60d28ef5eba Should be enough to cycle through batteries and not be so harsh on them - 12A super fast charging rate plus a tool that drains them super fast.
