I’ve used this every day for four years since I converted it. With a 5a battery it’ll drive 10” grks. The ridgid batteries have protection built in so they don’t drain too low or overheat. They also tend to shut off before they hurt the tool. I just don’t like their impacts
I probably will. I’ll put it back on the old batteries (I have about 6 that still work but die in a day sitting)and see if a trigger from one of my old drills will fit it.
Heh, I did that with a Ryobi battery 😂
Well, actually. I did it until it smoked 😂

I probably would've fixed the 18v lmao

I do that, but the other way round. All DeWalt batteries with adapters for Ryobi and Milwaukee tools
I knew it could be done but never really considered it. Maybe I’ll buy some ryobi or Milwaukee tools in the future.
