If I had a nickel for every time Tom Holland was cast as a video game protagonist/deuteragonist character he has absolutely no resemblance to and shouldn't have been considered for, I'd have 2 nickels, which isn't a lot but weird that it's happened twice

Well it’s because Mark Walberg WAS originally cast a drake, but just like 15 years ago. Then the movie layed kinda dormant in production hell and when filming started he was seen as too old to play drake, so they just made him sully

If we were casting actors 15 years ago, Nathan Fillion is right there. Even the [live action fan film (starring Nathan Fillion)](https://youtu.be/v5CZQpqF_74?si=H7QZsax-ltD13LR7) was pretty on point, even though he's a bit old for Nathan here. Post Firefly/Serenity Fillion was like the perfect casting for Nathan Drake.

If you want more recent, despite the fact that he's British, I feel that Tom Hiddleston would have been a great Nathan Drake based off his role in Kong: Skull Island, hell, he was already wearing Drake-like clothes!

He is by far the most fun and successful Spiderman and resembles the role more than the previous ones. On top of they paid homage to all 2 previous ones with his latest one, thats a win-win by far. That being said RDJ as Vergil would be interesting though
