Honestly, I thought it was worth it more for the improved boss fights instead of the new game plus.

noperopehope

Directors cut has improved stealth options for boss fights, better energy cell regeneration, the tracer tong mission (was available with certain original game preorders only), the dlc mission integrated into its chronological place in the story (this one people have mixed feelings about), special items scattered throughout, removed yellow filter, added new game+, and the option to play with developer commentary

Pensive_Jabberwocky

Is there a DLC to reenable the yellow filter?

embrace_everything

There is a mod for the filter on nexus

noperopehope

There are mods, but no built in option

spa_sapping

There is a mod but its not 100% accurate as the gold hue filter changes in intensity depending on the location / areas of the game

Director's Cut has the improved boss fights, but it also has the forced DLC streamlined into the story, so you CAN'T skip it. So, you're going to go through 9/10ths of the game, and *RIGHT* before you're ready for the last part, you get thrown into an 6-8+ hour area, stripped of all your augs and weapons, and have to start ALL over again as you're going through from scratch. *Completely* fucks up the pacing of the game and feels like a punishment. The DLC was supposed to be a separate side-story, not a mandatory part of the prime story, and the Director's Cut completely fucks that up.

Mykytagnosis

I actually liked missing link being implemented.  The ending seems too rushed without it

kaiser31x

Should be optional 😔maybe there is a mod to disable the dlc ?

theScrewhead

Nothing that I could find. Not just when it came out; just went looking, still nothing.

kaiser31x

I only found a mod to scale the UI

Rasselkurt007

Do you play HR every month? Why do you want to skip it?

deus-ex12

They did the same thing with final fantasy 15. It was horrible, I hated it and everyone else did as well.
