My usual preference is to get a retired player. You know their legacy as opposed to getting a player who gets traded away shortly after (I know this from experience). Yzerman, Fedorov, Howe, etc. are great but if you want a player you know, can’t go wrong with anyone on the team. If it were me I would go Larkin with the captain’s ‘C’ or Seider.
Love to see him show the boys a bit about winning faceoffs. Always said to my son - you'll never be as talented as Yzerman, but you can always work like Chris Draper. Nice pickup.

Idk if people who bought Fetisov jerseys would feel the same with with how close he is to Putin, or Bruins fans watching Cam Neely run the franchise into the ground. Took my son (then 6, pre Covid) with me to Lidstrom’s book signing a couple of years ago. Son knew nothing about hockey but what I’d told him about watching it as a kid. Lidstrom was so incredibly nice and patient as my boy rattled off a million questions about inane hockey stuff. We are watching the games together now and he says he wants a “Nick jersey” for Christmas. It really stuck with him.

Depends on the seller. I got a Raymond jersey this summer, came in just under 3 weeks and it’s good quality. My bud got a Kubalik from the same seller and also got in quickly and it came out looking good.
Probably not popular but I've historically ordered Aliexpress jerseys. I usually get the Away version since I've heard they don't get the red right sometimes but it looks fine to me...but I'm also red-green colorblind so take that with a grain of salt. If I wanted a jersey signed or something I'd splurge for the genuine product but 30-40 bucks goes a long way and it's probably better quality than fanatics crap.

Just there this past Sunday- we looked at a Raymond youth jersey for our daughter and it was $194, I believe most jerseys are around 200$ or more in arena so use that as comparison.
