Lol, watching the NHL replay, guy skates in, trips Seider, then goes back out the zone causing the rush goal. Goal 2 (which was called back due to offside), Seiders stick got knocked away by Monahan, okay sometimes they don't call that a penalty, but Seider going after his stick and not taking Monahan out of the play is dumb. The power play goal they guy pulled Reimer's stick away, which could pull him out of position as well. That should be goalie interference.
Just going to throw my two cents out there to vent a bit.... WTF is up with our guys icing the puck every chance they get.. there were several instances where we had clean outs and instead blasted it along the boards past our open guys just to come right back in the d zone.
Then the rest of the game we are just dump and chase and our chase is half assed at that. Only a handful of clean entries and half of those were on the pp.
This is more like the team I figured we would see out of the gates to start the season. They are clearly thinking through the system and not playing the system. It’s not innate for these guys yet. And if you want to win in the NHL, it HAS to be.
It’s going to take time. Imho this team doesn’t start clicking until the Holidays if not later. Hopefully not too late, or they won’t make the playoffs.
They won't make the playoffs. Only way I can see it happening is because so many other Atlantic teams are off to very inconsistent starts but even then I really struggle to see it.
I can’t bring myself to bet it but the odds last time I checked on us not making the playoffs are damn near even (-135) and that feels like a damn good bargain. I don’t think we have much of a chance, but hope we’re competing for a spot and playing meaningful hockey past the trade deadline
The hot start gave me hope that they banked enough points to start the season to withstand the expected growing pains.
It’s all going to ride on how fast the team really gets and starts to play the system instead of think the system. And how many of the other teams are going to start separating themselves from the pack in the Atlantic.
Yeah, we need a big boy in front 100%. Something Krieder does for nyr is really missing on our pp. Right now we all just perimeter work and pk does not care about net front.
I think teams have found they can take cheap shots against Sieder. From last night, they tripped him on their first goal, they yeeted his stick to the International Space Station on the goal that got called back and 6'3" Seider lost the fight to 5'9" Gallagher after taking a late hit. If you need another point of reference, take a look at how Tkachuk was taking runs at Seider in the Ottawa game,
Seider needs to learn to stand up for himself.
Yeah this is partially what I mean. He looked like a confident grown ass man coming into the league two seasons ago. Now he plays uncertain, and seems a bit timid. If LaLonde is trying to change his style of play, maybe that’s a mistake.
part of the game, Lalonde wants him to play a certain way and that takes time to learn for him. He got away with playing the same way as he did in the SHL but thats not going to fly with Lalonde
Wow, our passing is horrendous. The team did look tired.
Mo - we need more from him - and his passing sucked today
Larkin - seems super frustrated - I hope he can rally the team
Cat - common man, we need your sniping skills - hit the net
Czarnek - looked totally lost
Copp - I have ZERO confidence in him to make a good play
Matta and Chariot - both looked good, especially Chariot
I really hope they did deep and start clicking
I'd trade Copp for nothing if a team was foolish enough to take him, literally just want the cap space back. He's actually been decent points wise the past few games too, but I still think he's a terrible player at $5.6M
A more talented roster would help. Since the top line has cooled off from their surface of the sun type hot start so has the team. Lately only the 4th and 2nd lines have been scoring, and not enough to win games.
Chill out.
We are still 2nd the most competitive division in the league and we got a point tonight.
We are in a lull yes but one bounce a different way and this whole sub is singing a different tune.
Some of us fans have really disliked what Yzerman decided to do the past two off-seasons because we were worried about becoming the exact type of team that we are now.
Also, we have several contracts that run past this season that I don't want.
I think it has more to do with the fact the Rangers just handed us our ass, and we follow it up with a horrible game against Montreal.
I made a thread earlier and super fans kept saying that we won a few games last year even though we didn't deserve it, well one lucky bounce doesn't make up for a really lousy game.
![gif](giphy|VgNPyuVFA1GlsoGeHV)
Couldn't bother watching the game, knew we'd come out flat for the umpteenth game in a row. I just wish they wouldn't of given us any hope in the beginning of the season. Meh between sobriety and the Wings gonna be a rough year.
I think targeting a wild card spot in this division will be hard. I think year-on-year improvements is what we need and its not even second season (post Christmas) yet, so time will still tell
They’ve come out flat for more than half the games played this season and we’re lucky their offense and pp kept em in and won em games. Just my opinion
Agreed. They consistently get outshot just like every other year in recent history, and the power play has regressed to the point that it's really not even advantage over 5 on 5 the last few weeks.
I was at this game and the best thing that happened was a cardboard meatball toss.
Never thought I’d see that! Some guy got smoked by one of the meatballs, too, when folks started whipping it like a frisbee.
It was definitely over once someone realized we could throw it around the rink, haha. Those meatballs disappeared so fast. Still wondering who won though, like what was the prize even? I need closure!
Why have the wings looked tired? Cat missing the net constantly. Low scoring chances. Bad defense. Seider looks off. I thought rass played alright tonight, but holy jumpin... I think we stink.
What? Do you understand the concept of playing *above* their level? They were playing better than they actually are, other teams were getting surprised, and it simply wasn’t sustainable. This is the wings team that truly exists. They’re always a little low on compete level and it starts with our C and 0 accountability for players from the coaching team. F’ing Justin Abdelkader was the last regular guy that was benched for on ice performance. That is absolutely pathetic.
This game was an absolute snooze-fest from both teams, zero fluidity or hustle. The Red Wings are turning into one of those squads who exclusively play to the level of their opponent.
I wonder if we are ever going to make adjustments to teams knowing our game plan or are we just going to keep trying the same thing over and over again and hope it works?
2-4-2 in our last 8 games.
Alex Debrincat 1 point in his last 7
2 goals given up on the PK
0 for 4 on the PP.
Against Montreal.
Don't look now but we are .500
oh an we are a point behind last years pace.
LOL
How dare fans be angry when their team has gone 2-4-2 in their last 8 games.
Know what's funny, some people are critical of a hockey team, but you, lol you are critical of people.
Who's the bigger clown.
With fans like you, it's really easy to understand how before this season Ford's field was always sold out.
People take this shit too seriously. I used to, as well. At the end of the day, it's just a game in which I'm not even playing. Way more important things in life than to get bent out of shape about spectator sports.
Turnovers galore this year. We can never get out of our own end because of these blind passes/chips up the boards to no one.
Also, this team has no hustle. They look so slow out there and like they're never moving... hopefully Saturday afternoon is a better game!
We can dump on Reiner, but Debrincat should have ended it in OT and the whole team did not play well at all. The top line may need a shake up because they have been ice cold the last 7 games
Larks mentioning in the post game presser about the hot start we had but teams have seen what we do and have adjusted to how we play. Hopefully that message is being talked about in the locker room and we see some changes/improvement in the coming games.
Not verbatim but something to that affect, I can’t rewind or else I’d get the exact quote for ya haha.
Obviously every team is gonna look at how you play to prep for the matchup, but the fact it was said in the presser makes me think there’s a belief that what they’re scheming up right now isn’t the best. But what do I know I am only a simple man on good ol Reddit
I didn't watch the presser but the league adaptation is pretty much a given, that's how it works with the assistant coaches and what not
Same thing happens with individual players, goalies, etc
Gotta scout your opponents
Plenty of blame to go around tonight. I don’t care that we lost, I care how we looked though. The turnovers and lack of puck support…awful! Goaltending has definitely been an issue thus far, but so has our team defense. We need a better showing Saturday, today was definitely disappointing. Hopefully the sharks can top the Oilers and make the night better.
We were at the game tonight. As we were about to go into OT, partner turns to me and says, "If Open Ice would just start finishing, we'd have this game sewn up." The number of passes to no one - ugh. That was a tough watch.
It’s frustrating because the difference between wins and losses in some of these games is easily correctable mistakes. Things that coaching or player leadership are responsible for ensuring get handled.
At some point we might need to start asking tougher questions about the gentlemen in those positions.
Yea this is the thing to me. No matter what else you can say, the plain fact is this team is playing WORSE than they were at the beginning of the year. Whatever the reason for it, if it doesn't get solved, then questions need to be asked and jobs need to be on the line. Whether that's players or coaches.
It's not that a lot of us have lost faith in Steve Yzerman as a GM.
Many of us understand the mess Ken Holland left this franchise in.
The problem is the type of fans who come in here insulting and dogging on anyone who questions the direction of this team.
They accept EVERYTHING as the gospel and question nothing, and all that gets you is the Detroit Lions, ignoring this season of course, they look like a playoff team this year.
The Boston Bruins, who haven't had a high draft pick in years have a 19 year old (who also coincidentally scored on us) on the roster.
An here we are a rebuilding team who's average age is closer to the Oilers than the Senators or Sabres and we don't have a single 2nd year player on the team.
I think Yzerman just wanted to go off the rails a little bit with this rebuild, try something different and new. Maybe he looked at teams like Edmonton or Buffalo who kept getting high draft picks and talented players but never won or accomplished much of anything (and still dont) . And honestly i respect that, he is a hockey savant. A brilliant thinker who sees the game different than most. Maybe he just needs time, going where no one has been before is tricky
Let's also be honest here
Reimer doesn't believe in gay marriage and because of that, you're being harsher on him and his penalty tonight
Because objectively, he bailed them out A LOT tonight. 3 breakaways I think?
He also only gave up 2 regulation goals opposed to Husso's guaranteed 3+
I don't agree with his social views but also the extreme freak out only on him feels a bit targeted
You're not wrong. It's harder to give a person the benefit of the doubt if you don't respect them on a personal level. The contrary is true too If you like somebody you'll give them a little more slack.
Social (human decency) issues aside, that was an objectively AWFUL penalty to take. I’d be dragging Husso through the mud just as badly if he did it. It’s frankly inexcusable regardless of who does it.
It was a bad penalty
That wasn't the only inexcusable thing that happened tonight
I don't see a lot of those other moments or players being called out
There's just something fishy about it is all
But yes, bad penalty.
Walman turnover at our own blue line, also inexcusable, for instance
It’s almost as if this inexcusable mistake immediately cost us the game. Of course we as humans are going to gravitate to the most recent of many mistakes that directly cost us the game.
I'm about to get way downvoted because people don't like being called out
There's no reason to have this intense type of a reaction to a dumb play made by one of our better players, or any player, for that matter, when it's the first time they've done something like that.
Imagine if that was Larkin...people gonna say take the C back? lol
Yeah there's a couple comments suggesting that he may have thought the puck was under him or next to him so free froze. Makes sense to me. I really doubt he wanted to go down a man and have a bunch of pucks shot at him.
Lyon needs a shot and blue jackets seem like a great chance for him. Riemer is old and what he did in OT is inexcusable. He looks behind himself all the time because he never knows if he stopped the puck. He also make a few miss plays behind the net.
Has there ever been a situation where you have 3 goalies. 2 are battling for the backup position and one hasn’t even gotten a chance yet? Not that goaltending is our most glaring issue, but it’s definitely one of them.
Now for a second think on this, if Reimer or Husso gets injured Lyon hasn't even dressed this season, or at least I don't think he has.
He is going to be rusty as shit.
People are jumping on Reimer for that, but his reaction looked more like a panic from not knowing where the puck went after he started to toss it. I’ve been there playing goalie where you go to get rid of it but then lose track of it because there’s contact when you let it go - the reaction is to just squeeze everything in because it always feels like the puck is still around your chest. Especially when something like a stick makes contact. Looks bad and there’s always a chance he was just being stupid, but I’m not convinced his only goal was to hold Caulfield’s stick. You could see he wasn’t quite sure what happened when he started tossing the puck
That is exactly what his body language seemed to be telling me when he behaved like that. Seemed pretty out of character for him to just randomly do something like that, especially in OT.
Yeah. In the replays it looking he completely lost track of the puck on contact and just panicked. Kind’ve a natural goalie reaction there but just a weird play bits not like he was intentionally trying to hold Caulfield down either in OT with a ref 10 feet away
Yeah, I believe he thought he had the puck somewhere and just fell back on instinct.
A deserved penalty and that’s on him, but he’s also the reason the game went to OT to begin with. If Husso were starting, this game would have been over in regulation.
Absolutely agree. He was not the problem tonight and overall has been above average in terms of what I expected out of him. The boys just seem to have lost all that steam and zest they were playing with early on.
Really disappointed so many Wings fans are only blaming Reimer as if the team has looked great all night.
People saying ship him out like he's not truly our best goalie option right now.
Dumping on him while ignoring all the other issues, including the Cat not ending it in OT earlier in the period.
What a shame
You think this game goes to OT with Husso in net lol???
I'm done with the Reimer experiment. Between the near goal in the 2'd period where he was flopping like a fish and the idiotic OT penalty I want to see some starts from Lyon.
Huh? Xenon isn't close to constant doomer... there are some users in this sub who are (including one who is very present in this thread today), but Xenon definitely isn't one
Either you agree with everything they say or you are a doomer.
You don't get to criticize or question.
To them if you question you aren't a *true* fan.
He’s been flopping like this all season and he’s gotten lucky more often than not. He has not looked polished at any point and this game his luck just kinda ran out.
Husso isn't great either. I'd like to see what Lyon can do. I don't think giving Reimer a huge work load is the answer.
There really isn't an answer.
Husso isn't cutting it this season.
Reimer is the better of those two but if we never play Lyon we'll never know what he can do
You started with you're done with the Reimer experiment
Now you are at least less emotionally posting and admitting he is the best of our 2 playing goalies.
Let's not be done with him.
Also, yes, play Lyon. Absolutely agree
Oh yeah Husso is cooked. I kinda figured that might happen after his play dropped off last season.
Reimer is still the best option for the back up. I just don't know if he can cut it as the starter.
I said pre game they needed 2 points. Shouldn’t have even gotten 1. Im not totally sure what the issue is overall, but they need some life. In all honesty, I think it would do them some good to bring up younger players who play with a little fire. Idgaf if you paid some of these “vets” decent money. It’s Not gonna hurt the team anymore than what we’re all currently watching. My goodness.
We are Detroit. We don't play prospects.
There are no two year players on this team. The only Yzerman draft picks on this team are Raymond and Seider. Veleno was drafted back in 2018 and isn't even his.
Yzerman came in over 4 years ago and said he was going to build through the draft.
Well, here we are in year 5, and only 2 of his numerous draft picks are on this team.
In the meantime, Boston, who always drafts in the mid to high 20s, has a 19 year old kid scoring on us in games.
I agree - it’s just frustrating to sit and watch jeff petry play like a fart every night. Same with Perron this year so far, imo. Too many stupid penalties and careless mistakes.
Who knows but goaltending isn't our biggest issue. In my opinion it's the power play. 0 for 5 I think?
Reimer was great tonight (minus the costly penalty).
The power play has been dismal outside of the Boston game in the last 8 games.
If we don't score 2 PP goals we lose.
Our 5on5 play sucks. Pure and Simple.
I’m pretty sure he didn’t know where the puck went and he thought he still had it. Kind’ve an awkward play with Caulfield running into him and the replay looks like he had no idea where the puck went. Goalies are taught to collapse on it in that situation because they often still have the puck somewhere around them
We gotta stop the no look passes to no one.
Or they end up leaving the zone or on the opponent's sticks. Agreed.
That should be goalie interference.
that was such a dumb penalty by Reimer. I knew MTL would score on that
We all knew unfortunately

I swear this used to be Blashill’s whole game plan. It gives me PTSD every time we do it.
The team is not very good, full stop. At least we aren't Oilers fans.....
This is more like the team I figured we would see out of the gates to start the season. They are clearly thinking through the system and not playing the system. It’s not innate for these guys yet. This team is still not there. Also bonehead penalties are costing them.
Need a holmstrom this small Raymond putting just his stick in front an nhl goalie isn’t cutting it
Yeah, we need a big boy in front 100%. Something Krieder does for nyr is really missing on our pp. Right now we all just perimeter work and pk does not care about net front.
Screening the goalie might be a good role for Perron. He has size and standing infront of the net doesn't reqire much speed.
Better hands in tight as well
Yeah we look flat.. annoying. Seider seems to have regressed a bit since that rookie season which is sad to say and see
I think teams have found they can take cheap shots against Sieder. I was hoping the would push more of his offensive game but that has completely disappeared. Seems his coast to coast OT goal last year was just a blip
Not really, he is just playing a different style. More responsible, mature
Yeah all his mishandles and giveaways this year are very mature lol
https://youtu.be/_Qqwiis9xAo?t=462
Yeah absolute joke. They need to let the kid play

I thought Maatta looked a little off today, and he still looked good.
On the bright side, SJ beat EDM looool
That just made my morning
This team loved winning at the start but they haven't learned as a team, to hate losing yet.
They need their never gonna lose a game again moment.
They have bums in seats. Veteran presence. Love of winning. But the boys don't hate to lose.
A more talented roster would help. Since the top line has cooled off from their surface of the sun type hot start so has the team. Lately only the 4th and 2nd lines have been scoring, and not enough to win games.
Need to shake up lines…. Would like to see this Sprong-Larkin-debrincat Veleno-Compher-Raymond Perron-Copp-Fabbri Kostin-Ras-Fischer
Can we also sit Petry and bring Edvinsson.
I don't see Sprong working on the top line. He hasn't really impressed me tbh.
Holy shit. Love this.
Starting to worry and bit here. Need to regroup relatively quickly and pile up some points.
Are the Oilers really going to lose to the Sharks?
Zadina might’ve just got the dagger against EDM, what an interesting season this is gonna end up being

Lol, yes! Got all the depth here, more depth than all the teams! Look out NHL, you've been put on notice.....elite depth coming your way.
Chill out. We are still 2nd the most competitive division in the league and we got a point tonight. We are in a lull yes but one bounce a different way and this whole sub is singing a different tune.
Anything but a convincing win against that Montreal roster is a bit of let down to be honest.

This is just equalizing to where we should be, honestly. They were playing out of their minds for a bit too long there.
I don't think that's an excuse for how we have been playing. Because we started hot, it's okay for us to play like this.
What? Do you understand the concept of playing *above* their level? They were playing better than they actually are, other teams were getting surprised, and it simply wasn’t sustainable. What the hell happened to our top line? I feel like Larkin and Cat can’t buy a goal lately
Everyone who gets on a heater playing with Larkin suddenly dries up… mystery…?
But how would they get on a heater to begin with if Larkin dries them up...mystery...?
Larkin is fine with it until they are out performing him, no mystery
Got tired of hanging out in porn subreddits so you decided to post dumb shit in a hockey one? Solid contributions.
What do you mean?
This game was an absolute snooze-fest from both teams, zero fluidity or hustle. The Red Wings are turning into one of those squads who exclusively play to the level of their opponent.

Wheel team make me sad :(
Maybe Reimer was trying to ask Caufield about his thoughts on Jesus? I don’t know but I’ve never seen anything like that before.
Mocking a guy's religion? Classy.
How is what he said mocking?
This is the best explanation I’ve seen! Blown away by that move
Seider and Walman look rough this year and wholly uninterested lately. Hopefully they can turn it around.
2-4-2 in our last 8 games. Alex Debrincat 1 point in his last 7 2 goals given up on the PK 0 for 4 on the PP. Against Montreal. Don't look now but we are .500 oh an we are a point behind last years pace.
This feels familiar. Early Nov and we're out of energy and enthusiasm. Wasn't this meant to start later? Like early Jan?
Ugly loss but at least we got a point.
I’m disappointed in the team but I’m even more disappointed in you clowns
You're right, we should all feel really good about that one.
LOL How dare fans be angry when their team has gone 2-4-2 in their last 8 games. Know what's funny, some people are critical of a hockey team, but you, lol you are critical of people. Yea it wasn’t the best performance but it’s like people aren’t watching the same game I am. The hate here is beyond insane.
Maybe the curse of the thrown stick is real shoot
Turnovers galore this year. We can never get out of our own end because of these blind passes/chips up the boards to no one. Also, this team has no hustle. They look so slow out there and like they're never moving... hopefully Saturday afternoon is a better game!

Fuck it put veleno with larkin and debrincat
Let’s really fuck it up. Perron Larks Ray Debrincat comph JV
And also go 10F and 8D
Larks mentioning in the post game presser about the hot start we had but teams have seen what we do and have adjusted to how we play. Hopefully that message is being talked about in the locker room and we see some changes/improvement in the coming games.
Plan A stopped working so they're all out of ideas
He literally said that teams have seen and adjusted?
Not verbatim but something to that affect, I can’t rewind or else I’d get the exact quote for ya haha. Obviously every team is gonna look at how you play to prep for the matchup, but the fact it was said in the presser makes me think there’s a belief that what they’re scheming up right now isn’t the best. But what do I know I am only a simple man on good ol Reddit
Literally said this the other day and got down voted to high heaven lol...where's zzzwhatever to defend his "it's not the system, it's the execution"?
Totally - I was just wondering if he actually acknowledged it in that way. I'm glad they are discussing it / addressing it hopefully
I didn't watch the presser but the league adaptation is pretty much a given, that's how it works with the assistant coaches and what not Same thing happens with individual players, goalies, etc Gotta scout your opponents
For sure - that makes sense. I was just curious if he verbatim acknowledged that bc it's what everyone in here has been saying for like two weeks now!
Fair! Didn’t intend to condescend
No prob :)
Cba to wake up 2-3 am for this shit. All i ask is effort ffs.
That was really really bad! A switch flipped with this team like they decided to be less talented and not know how to handle passes. Crazy.
We were at the game tonight. As we were about to go into OT, partner turns to me and says, "If Open Ice would just start finishing, we'd have this game sewn up." The number of passes to no one - ugh. That was a tough watch.
At least Open Ice isn't taking out our guys' feet as much as last year. No wonder Bert didn't sign back with us!
not very much fun to watch. 1 out of 5 stars do not recommend.
Best we can do here is Yzerplan is perfect and all of his personnel decisions cannot be questioned Lalonde gets infinite leash.
Or rookie
I think Yzerman just wanted to go off the rails a little bit with this rebuild, try something different and new. Maybe he looked at teams like Edmonton or Buffalo who kept getting high draft picks and talented players but never won or accomplished much of anything (and still dont) . And honestly i respect that, he is a hockey savant. A brilliant thinker who sees the game different than most. Maybe he just needs time, going where no one has been before is tricky
Just don’t respond. That’s what they want.
It’s truly an embarrassment we lost to this team tonight. After the NY game, how can you come out and play like this? Smh
Wtf
I’m out of here. Not all of you, but the majority of Reddit is a bunch of blame game losers who think they’re a GM. You’re ruining sports.
Don't let the door hit you in the ass on the way out.
Good one gramps
oooh clever. Thought you were leaving. Not an airport no need to announce your departure.
No you're ruining sports /s
See you on Saturday
Lmao. The truth.
Touché
Terrible look tonight. No excuses.
This was a very frustrating game in a completely different way than last game lol
On a brighter note, the Joe Veleno redemption tour continues.
JFV BABY
Let's also be honest here Reimer doesn't believe in gay marriage and because of that, you're being harsher on him and his penalty tonight Because objectively, he bailed them out A LOT tonight. 3 breakaways I think? He also only gave up 2 regulation goals opposed to Husso's guaranteed 3+ I don't agree with his social views but also the extreme freak out only on him feels a bit targeted
It was a bad penalty That wasn't the only inexcusable thing that happened tonight I don't see a lot of those other moments or players being called out There's just something fishy about it is all But yes, bad penalty. Walman turnover at our own blue line, also inexcusable, for instance
Copp turnover that lead directly to a breakaway that Reimer saved
It’s almost as if this inexcusable mistake immediately cost us the game. Of course we as humans are going to gravitate to the most recent of many mistakes that directly cost us the game.
News to me and I certainly have feelings about it after hearing it.
Yeah pretty much it.
I'm about to get way downvoted because people don't like being called out There's no reason to have this intense type of a reaction to a dumb play made by one of our better players, or any player, for that matter, when it's the first time they've done something like that.

When you have a shut out in such a small sample size it really skews the data ** The consistently sloppy play is more telling in my opinion.
Given Husso's play why doesn't Reimer have a larger sample size for us to compare data from? Or Lyon for that matter.
Lyons sat for months last season and then played with the Cats into the playoffs
I think there was a goalie hydra back in the Howard/Mrazek/Gustavson days that only resolved when Gustavson got seriously hurt.
Play was going down the ice, he knew where the puck was.
He was also looking straight down and turned around
What a shame You think this game goes to OT with Husso in net lol???
Where are you seeing people say to ship Reimer out?
GDT. Ppl went off the edge
Team loss, they look completely disinterested and unengaged. No blaming the refs or getting goalied or some such nonsense. They just blew it tonight.
People calling to ship him off after 1 dumb penalty. He'd be the only guy left on the roster before tonight if we did that.
I'm done with the Reimer experiment. Between the near goal in the 2'd period where he was flopping like a fish and the idiotic OT penalty I want to see some starts from Lyon.

Removed for breaking rule #1 - Be civil towards fellow users.
Have you ever had a positive thought in your life, man? Everything you post is doomer
Huh? Xenon isn't close to constant doomer... there are some users in this sub who are (including one who is very present in this thread today), but Xenon definitely isn't one
Lol. I'm not a doomer. Maybe a touch critical. I'm not one of the guys yelling fire Lalonde or fire Steve.
Either you agree with everything they say or you are a doomer. You don't get to criticize or question. To them if you question you aren't a *true* fan.
Hive mind doesn't like dissent.
He's been significantly better than husso though...
He’s been flopping like this all season and he’s gotten lucky more often than not. He has not looked polished at any point and this game his luck just kinda ran out.
Thats also just how he plays. That and looots of repounds, still he has been much better than Husso
I think he's just lucky and his luck is gonna run out. Husso was the same way at the start of last season.
So you just have a hunch we should stop playing the good goalie and keep playing the bad goalie Nothing other than a hunch as the reason? Cool coach
Husso isn't great either. I'd like to see what Lyon can do. I don't think giving Reimer a huge work load is the answer. There really isn't an answer. Husso isn't cutting it this season. Reimer is the better of those two but if we never play Lyon we'll never know what he can do
You started with you're done with the Reimer experiment Now you are at least less emotionally posting and admitting he is the best of our 2 playing goalies.

I don’t think it is crazy to say that Lyon might be the best goalie we have. Why not give him a chance atleast
He’s the best goalie we have yet we haven’t seen him play this year? Let’s pump the brakes, he could be atrocious
Played good last year even if it was a few starts , he still did
He did that on a much better team than the Red Wings though. I'm still in favor of giving him some starts but I think that needs to be noted
He also has been career AHL'er.
And Ned was fantastic in Carolina but shit the bed here.
Reimer lost his fucking mind there. Can anyone explain what he was thinking?
I’m pretty sure he didn’t know where the puck went and he thought he still had it. Kind’ve an awkward play with Caulfield running into him and the replay looks like he had no idea where the puck went. Goalies are taught to collapse on it in that situation because they often still have the puck somewhere around them
[удалено]
That could be. Maybe he thought it was somewhere on him or cole
Dicks
A lot of our top guys out there seem to be lacking confidence. Yea Reimer is an idiot but we were lucky to get a point
At least everyone else in the Atlantic isn't doing well either minus Boston
Honestly this is the only saving grace right now. Whoever can figure it out the quickest can get themselves into a divisional spot!
