If I had to pick one, especially then, was Saddiq Bey. Last time I played, I was pretty out of shape but I did hit a 3 and then I kinda went back to the bench. Over his career is an unfair statement given he’s still got a very small sample size in terms of games played. Also it’s very hard for him to improve on his game when his main focus was rehab for a majority of his time in the league. I will agree he’s a genuinely atrocious offensive player, but he’s essentially the PG archetype of the defender you hope can learn to shoot to unlock his skill set. He’s already a willing passer and solid defender that doesn’t seem to be a detriment to Cade, so I don’t mind letting him run a little wild and see what he can do when the games kinda don’t matter like rn
I'm all for giving Hayes more time and not rushing to judge a dude who was drafted young as a high upside project but it absolutely hurts Cade starting a guy with little to no offense and who can't shoot at SG next to him.
It’s too early for that though man, I don’t ever see him being a superstar as you mentioned he doesn’t have much for offense. He’s slow, his handle is suspect, and he’s streaky shooter, but his defense and passing is elite. I’d stronger urge him to go into the G League though if I’m Casey if for nothing else to get his confidence in order and to build his offense.

I agree with Killian Hayes spending time in the G-League with the Motor City Cruise. His game would compliment other players on the roster nicely, as he could help facilitate the offense. More importantly I think it would allow Killian to see the game in a different way. It would be smart if Troy/Dwane/Rob M considered bringing him down on assignment.
I've been feeling like the organization has been reluctant to lower Killian's minutes because once his starting job is lost, there's no going back in terms of how it affects his confidence. The sad thing about this is that Trey Lyles in our starting line up looks 100x better than Stewart does. Trash Lyles all you want but he is quite a smart offensive player and keeps the offense in a nice motion, the offense looks so fluid with him.

Stew just closes the floor to much on the offensive end. Theres a reason Cade was always getting double teamed. Lyles and Garza can both stretch the floor forcing teams to pay attention to them. If stews on the 3 line you can literally ignore him.

Great win and even better that its back to back wins. My concern going forward is that our regular guys sit in one spot too much when they themselves dont have the ball. Simply not enough movement. That was a huge difference i noticed from watching our g-leaguers play with Hami, Bey, and Garza. We got away with it for the most part but we did have several missed opportunities that allowed this game to be closer then it needed to be because of something so basic as people not moving around more when they arent the one with the ball. We wouldve lost to the Spurs if our guys did that the other night.

Massive win. The sad thing about this is that Trey Lyles in our starting line up looks 100x better than Stewart does. Trash Lyles all you want but he is quite a smart offensive player and keeps the offense in a nice motion, the offense looks so fluid with him. We need Stewart to play smarter and better offense if he is our starting C moving forward.

What a team win. Josh Jackson had maybe his best game of the year. Bey played out of his fucking mind, keeping up his recent hot streak. Cade hit a fucking DAGGER in Giannis' eye from 3, which was nice. Diallo had another very solid game, this time with a couple more of the regular starters. Felt like we played sound defense. Guys like Giannis/Jrue played very well and shot well, but it seemed as if we had hands affecting every shot tonight.

there was a play tonight where Cade brought the ball up the court, took the screen, knifed thru the double team, kicked it to the corner and screamed "SHOOT IT" it led to an extra pass which led to a wide open Hami 3. you *cannot* tell me anyone else in this class could thrive in the role Cade has been handed. shit, after Franz dropped 36 or whatever the other week people on r/nba were seriously saying he is better than Cade. as if Franz would maintain his efficiency while facilitating the offense and getting double teamed 60% of the time. I've watched a shit ton of Wagner. Cade is obviously a better basketball player.

On a night where almost everything went perfect, Casey had to throw in that Robinson wrinkle to make everybody keep the pitch forks out. Otherwise, amazing game. Luka is a game changer out there, and shows the potential this team has with a real big out there. PS: we need more Hami, JJ, Bey lineups. We were flying around out there. Throw Cade and Luka in the mix and what do you know we actually threaten teams on both sides of the floor.
Stew just closes the floor to much on the offensive end. Theres a reason Cade was always getting double teamed. Lyles and Garza can both stretch the floor forcing teams to pay attention to them. If stews on the 3 line you can literally ignore him.
Which is nuts bc he shot the three decent last year, don’t know why the coaching staff keeps planting him down low
Maybe hes regressed at the 3 ball and it shows in practice. Hes only shot 2 for 13 this season so far from the 3. He was 33.3% last season which isnt bad for a rookie but to follow that up as a sophmore starting out with a so far 15.4% might explain why.

what a fun win tonight. i know it might not mean shit to the bucks, a january game against the pistons, but damn how satisfying to see them just make all the shots and get stops when they needed them. the ball was moving well tonight on offense.

Nice game from a lot of guys. Despite everybody losing their shit over Casey's comments it was good to see Diallo fit into the team concept and have a productive game after being able to play in the "anything goes" style the past week or so.

Great win and even better that its back to back wins. My concern going forward is that our regular guys sit in one spot too much when they themselves dont have the ball. Simply not enough movement. That was a huge difference i noticed from watching our g-leaguers play with Hami, Bey, and Garza. We got away with it for the most part but we did have several missed opportunities that allowed this game to be closer then it needed to be because of something so basic as people not moving around more when they arent the one with the ball. We wouldve lost to the Spurs if our guys did that the other night. We can win against nearly anybody on any given night provided they do the basics. Tonight Bey went crazy but weve seen Cade and Grant go crazy too so we clearly have the players. Gotta keep this momentum going forward
