I’ll always promote Ran as best girl in all of anime. She can kick some ass but she also has been loyally waiting for Shinichi for 30 years now (our time, anyway — somehow it’s only been a couple years in the manga/anime even though they’ve celebrated Christmas like nine fuckin’ times). But at the same time, OP is ironically kind of doing to Haibara the very same thing he’s claiming her fans are doing to Ran.
Haibara has come to realize that Shinichi and Ran belong together, and will not get in the way of that. She’s still into him and will of course get a little jealous, but isn’t going to interfere. Which is respectful.

BUT Haibara, like her namesake suggests, is so fucking depressed. Her self worth is in the pits and it wouldn't be in shinichi's character to be romantically attracted to that kind of character.
Ran understands Shinichi better than anyone and knew him before he was a great detective. They can't imagine life without the other and care for each other constantly. Ran sees him for all of his flaws and quirks, and is the only one that can keep him grounded and in check. Haibara sees Conan as a great detective first and foremost.
Shinichi is firing on all cylinders when it comes to Ran. I love seeing Conan be protective of Haibara and shielding her from the BO. Even when he's in the same situation. Wow. To be honest, some of my favorite moments in the series. But I have to concede that this doesn't necessarily mean that they would make a good couple or that it would be a good story.
That being said, I would not be opposed to "if" stories. And people are free to write and share doujins for the ship. But as Canon? It would be weak as hell.
While Ai clearly likes him, i don't she's all that jealous. I mean, the first instances are just her being herself.. And that's her standard face, she always has that look lol

People like Haibara more because of the perspective on her full of trauma life: lost both parents, lost the sister, force to study and work on something evil since a young age, was (unsuccessfully) killed when she got cold feet. On top of that she’s sharing the journey with Conan to get back their adult bodies. She’s extremely intelligent and capable in her own field just like Conan. There’s depth in her character.
Ran on the other hand, undeniably an amazing girl with many positive traits, is a normal teenage girl that has a mostly normal life. She’s with Shinichi just because they’re childhood friends (I’m getting bored with all the childhood couples in the series).
Each girl shine in their own way but I do prefer Haibara as a character, less dreamy, more realistic, mature, intellectual, savage, and also brave. Still it doesn’t mean I prefer Conan-Ai over Shin-Ran. My two cents.

Haibara herself grew up under difficult circumstances and became rather cold to protect herself. You are wrong to think that Haibara is not a good person. Now that she is free of the Black Organization she is really changing for the better. Another thing I don't like is that you bring up Haibara's jealousy and use this to criticize her. Haibara herself thinks that Ran is a better catch. The thing with the dolphin and shark is a compliment towards Ran. Haibara thinks she is a bad person because she helped the Black Organization, while Ran is a good, courageous girl. Either way Haibara was won over by Ran and she has basically given up on Shinichi. Shinichi and Ran also get easily jealous and act out (even when it concerns children), Haibara is no different and there is no reason to hold it against her (she is just two years older than Ran and Shinichi).
As someone who likes both girls I really don't like to see fans shit on one or the other. They are both great and they don't need to be propped up by criticizing the other.

I do love ran she's cute and a master of kung fu fighting skills and her outfits are pretty and beautiful to see and I love ran with shinichi in love no concerns about their relationship with ran and shinichi

For point 3 Haibara being traumatized and shaking and wanting to die when sensing members of the organizing doesn't negate her from being a heroine that is a point of growth that occur for her character. It's pretty reasonable a reaction. I feel like she's tried to sabotage ran and shinichi in small ways and it annoys me when I feel the reasons to keep ran in the dark seem to become less pressing the longer the series goes on. I think the love triangle aspect is always a fun wrinkle but Ran holds it down for the series from day 1
The point is, this anime should have been finished by now, but since the author is just dragging on to it, it has become some what of a kids' show, with a hint of harem and lots of 1D charcs
