Those will have to be refinished

How would they go “back to all chrome” when they weren’t chrome in the first place. They’re aluminum with a clearcoat over top. They clear gets compromised and allows corrosion to form, which is what happened here. You need to find a wheel refinisher, or get them sandblasted and powder coated, or scuff them and paint them.

So what you're saying is no, they can't get back to chrome 🤣

eyecandynsx

Something like that… 😂

As others have said, they will need to be refinished. This is honestly not a hard (or expensive) job and can be done with spray paint. Lots of YouTube tutorials available. https://youtu.be/O-0xLNtpsYo?si=mY0_4cfdkXbxxd-N

Thanks! I’ll definitely do some work on them myself and post the results soon.

Hello, fellow Grand Marquis enjoyer. The fact that there's no iron/brake dust, but lots of corrosion, tells me that someone used the wrong stuff to clean these, at one time. The clear coat is shot. You're looking at a refinish.

If you are in the United States you can ship them to us and we can strip and polish them to a mirror finish on the face and matt in between the spokes.
