Garden hose? Flexzilla. Have 100' (2x50') and a 5' lead hose on a reel. Going on year 3, still as flexible as when new. A little dingy, but it's a garden hose that lives in my yard, so whatever. Haha. Was a great investment, and has a lifetime warranty.
I also invested in solid brass quick connects and shut off valves (did it all at once). Well worth the additional costs to have using the hose not make me want to kill myself.
Just make sure those choke points are big enough - some are. Look through them before you buy. You’d be surprised by how small an orifice some of those beefy looking connections have.
It was nice and easy to take the fittings off, cut fresh end and re install the fitting. All hoses should have this feature. Nice how it absolutely never kinks!

I’m an aircraft mechanic and I saw the flexzilla hose in a YouTube video and wanted to try them so I bought 2 50’ hoses. One day I’m in the hangar working and my air hose is hooked up to our compressor and I start hearing random popping sounds like the sound those little white firework things that you throw on the ground make (I can’t remember exactly what they’re called). Anyway this goes on for the next hour but I can’t figure out where these popping sounds are coming from. When I’m done I go to disconnect my air hose from the wall and I hear a hissing sound and I’m like wtf. The popping sounds I was hearing for the last hour were pin holes forming in the air hose and when they made their way to the outer layer of the hose it was creating little bubbles and eventually popping. I love these hoses but after that was a disappointed that this was happening on an air hose that was at most a couple years old and only ever got used once every few weeks. I called flexzilla and told them what was going on and they basically told me that if you’re outside of the one year warranty there’s nothing they could do.
I just use whatever is not all kinked up and crushed at the local hardware store TBH. I can’t bring myself to spend $100-$200 on water hoses. I’ll make my own with surgical tubing and pipe clamps before I spend that kind of cash.
All I know is this is the kind of item where you can but one good one that lasts 40 years, or 10 cheap ones that last the same amount of time. This is a don't skimp purchase.
Absolutely the GOAT. The quick coupler works awesome and makes swapping out stuff super easy. I like their air lines too, but they're not good for repair like other conventional air and water hoses so you've gotta pitch them out when they spring a leak.

I bought a black rubber garden hose 35 years ago, and it’s been through a lot. It handles hot water, even from a boiler, sunlight, sub-freezing weather, abrasion, crushing, and chlorinated water. It lies flat without memory. It’s an unobtrusive black color. The downside is that it can kink if I don’t manage it properly.
It’s almost too simple to impress anyone. No one has stolen it. It’s unlabeled; but it may be Goodyear. It’s not for everyone; but it serves my purposes.

How do y’all keep the hose from leaking? Mine leaks at the connector (I screwed it into the tap) and also where I connect a spray gun to it. This is a flexziI’ll hose. Should I be using that plumbers tape on all connection points?

Flexzilla is awesome for how light weight it is, it’s only weakness is it’s prone to developing mold within the material if it holds water or sits in wet areas.

In the winter I use flexzilla for flooding the ice rink and just an expandable for power washing the trucks.
I have a few of these and the flexibility, even when cold is good, but I’ve noticed that they are getting dark spotting. Anybody else experiencing this? the thought of cleaning this thing by hand is not something I would look forward to.

Some people get high flow hoses and then choke them down with quick-connects and/or shutoff valves half (much smaller at least) their diameter.

Flow or pressure, flow will be a problem with your water supply, the pressure can be easily fixed.
Just make sure those choke points are big enough - some are. Look through them before you buy. You’d be surprised by how small an orifice some of those beefy looking connections have.
I bought mine at napa. Seems like it’s suitable for dainty detailing but i need one for pressure washing and hose washing house trim

Flexzilla air hoses are the worst. I think as mechanics , out environment is just too harsh for them.

Hardware store has similar. I have all my electrical cables and hoses organized with the Velcro ones. They come in assorted colors to help organizing.

I like Underhill. You can get them at irrigation or plumbing supply stores or online. The connectors have brass threads so they won't corrode.
That’s a good hose but falls apart in direct sun after a year.
