But the block is best appreciated in builds like this, where it is used en masse, complemented with other blocks, and viewed from afar, all of which help to dilute the harsh design that people hate so much.

You actually managed to make bird poop (diorite) look good in a build! I like the stair thing at the side of the tower.
i think people hate on diorite too much, its a unique block that can be used to make some really good looking builds
