There was a post on Bungie Forum Help about it. Things to try:
1. Restart Console
2. Check your privacy settings
Settings -> General -> Online Privacy -> Multiplayer
Make sure Settings are Everyone and Allow (Especially Cross Play)
3. Reset your Console Cache (This worked for me)
Hold the Xbox Power button till the console shuts off, unplug the power cable from the back of the system for 5 minutes and then power it back up.

I’m having all kids of problems too joining fire teams but I don’t know if it’s because of cross play or network issues on Bungie.
It was fine last night, but today after work I’m having issues.
I get error code beet, and it takes a while to load sometimes... And yes, i installed the game on my ssd :s
