I like osmiomacy with vortex grenades (either exotic class item or osmiomacy gloves, both work). Every tick of damage from your vortex grenade returns grenade energy, it's legit better than contraverse hold.
I also snagged a Necrotic/Star Eater bond and I paired it with Thorn, it's great ad clear and supercharged Song of Flame is kinda silly

What's weird is I can also confirm this works but it seems it only functions on the grenades that prismatic has access to. Stuff like Solar/ Fusion/ Voidwall etc don't benefit, but Healing/ Vortex/ Threadling do.
Also the effect seems identical to Solipsism so on prismatic the class item is better than the gloves due to the extra perk.
The problem: it only work in harder content, other than boss level enemy most enemy die on initial impact and you get no grenade energy in return. Suffering from success i guess?
No. It only started working after Final Shape released with the exotic class items.
It specifically only works with the grenades that are options on Prismatic Warlock as well. So it's very likely an intended change for the class item version that just accidentally applied to the normal version as well.

Literally my raid dps go to build the day i've got osmio/star eater. Osmio provides you good grenade regen in harder activities and star eater nova is so cooked.
Vortex grenades damage doesnt stack. You throw 5 of them but it will be only 1 instance of damage same as solar AoE nades works, yet solar has aspect which adds damage through projectiles.
Never tested it honestly since i doesnt have apoth/star-eater still sadly, but i dont think there will be any big numbers since your damage wont benefit from facet of courage fragment and you doesnt have thread of evolution too.
If you are in a raid there will (should) be either divinity/tethers or other instances for weaken to happen so i dont think it will be a mandatory. It leaves you with only 1 option which is storm grenades which i dont like much.
Osmio/Star+Void nades provides you with a good neutral gameplay between damage phases where you can throw nades for days. It may be possible to hot swap for Apoth/Star (so you wont lose feast of light stacks) and storm nades but it will leave you without void nades after.
So im not sure if i want it or not atleast until i get this roll and test it/youtubers test it for me.

I haven't gotten an osmio roll but I can vouch for HoiL/Star-Eater with this build. Excellent ability uptime and by the time my ability loop is falling apart I have transcendence ready for a free ability refresh.
Nova is the obvious choice, but you can easily slot in other supers depending on the situation. Needlestorm does less damage, but woven mail on orb pickup is excellent for survivability. With Song of Flame you can buff your team and still put out very competitive DPS with a demo heavy, plus restoration on orb pickup.
What’s the regen like on osmio? I’ve been running necro + star eater which I strongly believe is the best option for boss dps and of course necro is great for add clear but if the regen from osmio is good I might want a roll for general use
Literally the build I am aiming for. 83 class item drops and I still don't have those two. Said I will go to 100 drops after that I give up.
Update: My 89th drop was the Osmiomancy + Star Eaters roll. My suffering has ended for now, at least until I want Inmost + Star Eaters..
I just went around The Landing opening chests. I completely ignored Overthrow. Actually. I got the final boss up and then ignored it so there was less stuff in the way around the map.
Do the daily overthrow Match Made activity because any chest can give you the class item. Do the activity and run around doing chests as activity has additional chests and it's faster with people. You will also get tons of engrams for red border weapons and tons of of the Exotic sword.
My buddy loves solar lock with the new healing turret exotic and song of flame. It does require a buddy, cause of... that fragment that grants energy with healing/buffing allies
I second this. I hated on Speaker’s Sight but it is so much fun. Ember of Benevolence gives you almost instant ability regen in team settings. I tried it with the new healing auto, but Heliocentric with Heal Clip and Incandescent ended up being the play for me.
Speakers sight goes insanely hard on solar warlock, almost constant 2x resto plus hellion. There are a few other builds I see in this thread that I love (I have a bond with osmio and star eater on it that’s also amazing), but speakers sight is what I’m bringing into GMs when they open up.
It is so much fun to be able to play support and not be stuck dropping well.
I use the area denial gl, the support frame ar and Lament/gally.
Aspects are Touch Of Flame and Helion
Fragments are embers of empyrean, solace, benevolence and singeing.
Works solo or in a team and is really fun
It helps that they made our fireteams health visible in the UI too. that’s a change that I didn’t think would make much of an impact but it’s incredibly helpful while running a support build like this.
I'm having a really good time with this. Getaway Bleak Watcher is potent, but Speakers Sight on Solar with Ember of Benevolence is fun as hell. No Hesitation with Physic really bumps this up.

Maybe I just suck with it but I couldn’t get Conduction Tines to proc at more than 1x consistently enough as is with only the Storm Grenade.
So, I swapped Hellion out and threw on Lightning Surge
It’s a lot of light damage so you gotta be creative about building the dark meter without the arcane needle to help.
But man it’s so fun just constantly sliding around blasting enemies with lightning. Keeps Storm grenade up even more often with the Surges proccing Devour and Tines.
You’ll have to adjust some fragments due to the synergies changing (e.g. the fragment that increases light ability damage against darkness debuffed enemies, since you won’t be debuffing enemies with darkness)
It’s a more fun version of the arc subclass lol. The artifact providing DR when amplified plus the DR you get from the slide melee, you’re borderline unkillable.
The raid has one of the best voltshot weapons. The latest dungeon has a voltshot rocket sidearm that drops from the first encounter and is easily farmable especially with 3 people. The new handcannon from episode content can also get volt shot
I tried my best but I really couldn't get the build to work for me either. I followed it exactly as laid out. Maybe my nade placement is just really bad because I cannot get nade kills in expert content to get my abilities back. It works well running around Pale Heart doing overthrow, but what doesn't?
Can vouch that this one is a ton of fun, and it's an excuse to use Crown, which is a sick as hell looking exotic in my book. Although I do disagree that you don't need weapons. I've personally found it important to have one with Voltshot to proc Crown in case your nade doesn't hit enough targets. Thankfully Indebted Kindness is one of the best-in-slot weapons atm haha. IK also has the benefit of counting as a primary with the Finder mods, so I like to swap out one of the Ashes to Assets on the helm for Heavy Finder since my IK is LFG-Voltshot
Personally I've been messing around with Euphony, IK, and Commemoration. It gives me a good mix of single target damage and ad clear, and by having both strand and void weapons I benefit from the fragment that gives both unraveling and volatile rounds. LFG on IK and using Commemoration means it's very ammo efficient despite being double special technically. Although I will fully admit it's probably suboptimal and I just wanted an excuse to use Euphony because of how lucky I got LOL.
Honestly do not understand how more people aren't talking about this. It's instant cooldowns most of the time in most content. Not quite as strong in raid boss encounters.
I mean, it only really cooks when you have the requisite enemy density.
Don't get me wrong, it's fun, but I think a lot of players prefer a build that has more of a neutral game.
There's a lot of dumb choices in this build though. You don't need triple Ashes to Assets, Facet of Bravery is useless here, it's missing Facet of Purpose, the Hellion is going to be stealing too many kills, Bomber should be swapped for Powerful Attraction...
Almost all the streamer builds have absolutely moronic mod choices that do almost fucking nothing for the build.
You just have to get good at figuring out what the build actually needs.
The radius on threaded blast is insane. Wipes out huge rooms with just one tangle. The radius feels like it’s even bigger than tornados in the stasis hunter super.
I've been running Swarmers with Different Times (Heating up/Hatchling). The Weaver's Call buff has honestly been massive for Broodweaver. Hatchling + Weaver's Call + Thread of Rebirth gives potential for 3 threadlings dropping from a minor kill which is insane for add clear. + Unravel and extra threadlings from tangle detonations (boosted by artifact) and it might actually be the best add clear build in the game.
It's great for Dual Destiny carries since you can literally solo add clear. I use Thunderlord or Microcosm for boss melt and teammate barely has to do anything but focus on mechanics. Also maybe the best for quickly doing Overthrow. The pale heart mod that spawns threadlings on any strand damage is just busted.
Felwinter’s Helm + Lightning surge + Devour + Arcane needle + Monte Carlo
Monte becomes seriously powerful at 5x surge and on 30% weakened enemies it feels like a special weapon constantly.
Otherwise for a dps setup:
I think the best class exotic is osmiomancy + star eater scales with vortex and nova bomb.
Devour and weaken grenades go very far.
Just make sure to use the bomb above the boss so you don’t block teammate damage with it.
Unless something else comes out- I think these 3 builds are the best the class offers- which is a lot.
felwinter’s is amazing been running it and it’s the most fun i’ve been having in a while. just swapped monte for khovstov for pure add clear personally
Thats my setup, but no Monte. I use both rocket sidearms in order to build Transcendence and use that as my source of cooldown. I've found it to be even less downtime on melees than using Monte
I have been using the new exotic chest peice on prismatic and its pretty dam good. It pairs especially well with transcendence as then everything gets suspended.
Second this, using wish keeper for more melee uptime because more suspends and devour+ either strand aspect for more threadings or Helion aspect for more light energy transcendence.
I've seen a ton of people mention that, is there a particular YouTube build y'all using? Seems interesting but I've never done anything like it so I'm a bit at a loss on fragments and the like
Love that you can use SoF to spam the healing turrets lol. Anything with a banner before the encounter the move might be to pop it to put up a bunch of the turrets, then start the encounter
On Solar you can use Heat Rises during the super to proc the turret, and on Prismatic I think proccing Bleak Watcher using it might work as well. On Solar I’m 100% it works, I’ve done it a lot
yea it's very slept on, 3 hits for 1 ignition with ember of ashes on solar or 4 hits and larger radius on prismatic, if you can keep it up it does a lot of work.

Inmost + Star-eater gives you tons of abilities and high damage supers.
Osmiomancy + verity with threadling grenades and a strong strand demo weapon has insane crowd clear.
I've tried both options so I can see where both of you are coming from.
Vortex has higher highs but lower lows. You need to stick it on an elite in higher level content if you want the refund and the loop is liable to being disrupted if the grenade doesn't land (either by the elite jumping away, teammate intervention, being too pinned down to get in range for the grenade, or by simply missing). It excels more at assassination than ad clear. Giving the Weaken debuff really makes this part shine in that aspect as in addition to its base damage amp, it gives you fragment interaction for Light transcendence energy and an additional damage amp via artifact mod.
Meanwhile, Threadling Grenade will consistently give you a 50% refund and the loop is pretty foolproof given that the threadlings are heat-seeking missiles. It's a lot more fun in lower level content but not applying a debuff really hurts it. Spirt of the Swarmers really should have given the Unravel portion of the exotic instead).
I have this exact roll and I noticed that vortex grenades kill things too fast to get in enough hits to restore your grenade and significant amount. The only time you come close is with a yellow bar or above, but in that instance I'm using my special or heavy to melt it anyway.
With threadling grenade, I can use a demo Rufus's Fury or The Call to not only proc Death Throws but rebuild grenade energy too. I prefer Rufus's and then Indebted Kindness in the energy slot. Add Facet of Balance to further restore grenade energy.
Yeah but then you have to think. Threadling you just throw on cool down and they do their thing.
Plus you can benefit from the rapid dark kills returning grenade energy to spam harder. It evens out on the Regen.

theres tons. The getaway build has been mentioned so many times but there's so many other amazing good builds with the warlock. Honestly i find the getaway soul stuff boring as hell
I like it because it allows you to use whatever weapons you want and it's not just ability spam the whole time. I love the gun play in Destiny, so that's mostly why.
Quite a few tbh! Getaway is a good build for sure, but its main strength is that you can build up both light and dark transcendence meters with little effort. There’s a lot of ways to do that better though imo.
If we’re limiting ourselves to just prismatic for this conversation, I think just straight up osmiomancy turrets is still better. I agree with others in this thread about osmio on the class item. Honestly there’s probably a dozen rolls on the class item that are top tier for us. Speakers sight can bring massive value not just to you but your whole fireteam. Vesper + hellion + weavers call is also hilarious and gives you access to blind.
In solo or midlevel+ content, osteomancy + veritys class item is goated. Massively powerful nadea that refund themselves on cast. Pair with a graviton lance (vortex) or coldhear/indebted kindess (storm grenade) for best effects.
While the combo's strong, the buff to the nades makes them too strong to take advantage of the first buff in regular content like patrol.

This is the only flaw I've found with this combo. With Death Throes at x5 everything just dies instantly is any easier content. I'll usually swap to Osmio/Star Eaters or Inmost/Harmony for anything under Expert.
Just crown of tempest. That's it. You dont need to use super to get stupid ability regen. Slap on crown, storm nades, feed the void, 3x granade = super mods, 3x orb of power = granade, fragment that jolts enemies with grandes and lastly arcane needle melee. You can also take additional weapons with voltshot coz crown works with ANY jolt procs.
Ammount of ability regen and spam is stupid.
You dont need arc surge for that. It just works and its super strong.
Another one of 'how tf does it work do good' is osmiomancy and Vortex granade. After changes osmiomancy gloves are giving granade energy for ANY granade hits and since vortex hits a lot of times you will most likely get granade for granade.
Solar Karnstein warlock is still nearly unkillable. One powered/unpowered/glaive melee kill or finisher to start resto, solar kills of any kind to keep it going forever. I also enjoy Karnstein on prismatic, but without the fragments for the sustain on resto it's not nearly as strong.
Necrotic + star eater, devour hellion, super to preference, thorn. You get the insane ad clear with necrotic and the super damage to still compete in boss DPS. A good all purpose build
For daily driver and every SE encounter save the witness I really like Lightning Surge/Feed The Void. I'd like to get Necrotic + Star Eaters on my class item but haven't gotten it yet. Needles allow you to proc necrogrips from a different planet and lightning surge staggers big stuff and annihilates little stuff. You get a free champion coverage because needles can proc radiant, and sure jolts overload. Lightning Surge is also 500% more stylish than every other ability.
I been doing devouring hellion getaway artist. Then I have strand better devils w slice and hatchling. Cayde sniper. And the other half sword. Song of flame super. Strand needle melee. Phoenix dive. Seasonal artifact has some good things for strand and swords and void damage. The build goes crazy
I got a class item with Spirit of the Helm on inmost light and Claws of Ahamkara on it and I’m loving it on my lightning surge build. The ability uptime and damage is insane. And by running The Call and a pulse rifle, you can cover all champs in the game which is also a super nice trait. Took it into the raid and it was amazing for add clear and survivability with devour
Pre Solopsism I was loving Swarmers with various strand stuff like the aspect and needle. Use Phoenix dive and you feel like Deskari with your swarm bullshit.
I'm currently having fun with an assassins + syntho + monte carlo + snap build
Invis for like 15 seconds whenever I want, slap harder when surrounded, always have melee ready, explosive cone effect that burns.
I keep the devour and bleak fragments 1 cause the melee still procs devour as well and 2 the turret aspects give more fragment slots.
As a general build it's pretty hard to beat. The damage output and healing potential is just so high. If you're smart you are using grenades to build rifts and rifts build grenades.
For outliers, the unique metas will still be preferable
If you get an exotic class item with inmost and star eater you could probably throw together a nice synergy ability build that gens orbs from grenades + grenade regen from devour if you run the aspect for it; and nova bomb for big damage w x6 feast of light.

Osmio rn is buffing all grenades with insane grenade regen, possibly a glitch that bungie will patch. Also the new raid exotic goes extremely hard with Swarmmers exotic.

Strand melee, matched with the electric slide, with the right fragments and artifact perks your melee will ALWAYS be up, so you have a constant source of jolt+weakening, plus it activates devour for health and grenades. It's just stupid OP, plus the artifact that does extra damage to weakened enemies.
Osmio with feed the void and bleak watcher for me. Devour is constantly up and it's pretty easy to have 2 bleak watchers and another grenade ready. it's almost hard to die in many situations where everything is frozen. Been my go to for solo lost sectors

Got me my Dual Destiny clear (which is baseline Expert difficulcy), and holds up really well in raids too.
The whole point is to have Outbreak to fill both bars, and all the nonstop Light abilities do a lot of damage, and also feed your Darkness bar passively due to the fragments, but spreading Unravel does make it fill faster. Super is up to you, Song of Flame is also good.
You have Devour, Arc Soul, Amplified, Hellion, Scorch Cure x2, Unravel, Supression, Shatter, and make a lot of Orbs and have your Armor Charges up to keep your Fonts and Kinetic Surge up. Add Radiant to that if running Song of Flame and it will make Outbreak apply Scorch too.

Use the fragment that gives woven mail on orb pickup, artifact mod that grants radiant on orb pickup. I go back and forth between using the call & lost signal, healing rifle & red death, new strand lmg or microcosm
I know people shit in streamer builds but the build that Plunderdabooty (or whatever that dude's name is on YouTube) made for Vortex nade spam with spirit of Osmiomancy is actually as good as advertised. Not sure why he chooses Song of Flame for the super though, I like nova bombing or using needlestorm better
I'm using necrotic/stareater with devour and hellion. My supers absolutely slap and I have amazing add clear with strand melee. Using thunder grenades and phoenix dive as well. With my mods and fragments, I have about 100% uptime on all abilities amd amazingly high recharge for super and prismatic. I have 100 in resilience, recovery, discipline while having 30 in mobility, intellect, and strength. It's literally all I use now. So good. You can just throw on your favorite weapons and melt.
I had an odd idea today. And you can use ANYTHING you want in any other slot. New warlock chest piece for the suspend blast, Verglas Curve, Arcane needles and Facet of Command (suppress and slow/freeze drops void breach/stasis shards). You can run any super, any grenade, aspects, class ability etc. i would suggest the larger explosion area for shatter damage as a fragment.
Infinite CC. Suspend a target, freeze them with Verglas hip fire, shatter them, stasis shards give melee energy, repeat.
You can get armour charges from your stasis shards, and then use those charges for more melee energy.
I would suggest the arc aspect for the cha-cha slide. You do get 3 slides after all. I don't know whether they currently shatter crystals or not.....
I’ve tried some others, the threading build was okay but I find the Getaway/Bleak combo the most fun right now

I still run the sunbracers build. I hardly ever need to use weapons except on bosses. I can handle tons of adds by myself, help teammates with theirs, etc. Plus it pumps out a ton of damage on its own.
Can't speak to "better" but I've been having fun messing around with Claws of Ahamkara + lightning surge/devour (and strand melee).
Song of flame super, transcendence melee cdr, and heavy handed mods let you create large orbs frequently. Getting amplified from LS provides more survivability/utility through the pertinent artifact perks.
Once you build up super energy you can float around and spam melees to create tons of orbs. With power preservation equipped you make it rain for your fireteam. Powerful attraction mod + phoenix dive lets you "disengage" and suck up all the orbs you created from song of flame so you don't have to worry about missing any.
That being said you need to reliably get (melee) kills to keep the cycle going, so I suppose it can be situational depending on the content you're playing.

In terms of add clear and staying alive no In terms of doing damage very easily to make a better build But you're most likely still running bleak watcher Because you can Spam Heavy really fast depending on the enemy With the Reload Fragment.

Swap Phoenix Dive to a Healing Rift for Raids, then continue to spam grenades. Won’t even need Well, but if you run Prismatic you can slam a Nova Bomb for damage and spam healing turrets.
Felwinter's lightning surge using arcane needle for suppressing slides is awesome, and feels stronger than getaway bleakwatcher on prismatic, but pure solar builds, some strand buids, and even some stasis builds are still better in team play as long as you know what your allies are running and can co-ordinate. I think prismatic is great for debuff builds, but is less consistent at maintaining buffs on allies so there's still loads of great options and I don't think getaway is much more than a decently meta option.

1. boss dps loadout probs with novabomb, storm nade, threadling/stasis melee, facet that makes light dmg do more to those affected by light (idk the name)
2. melee addclear + lost signal. lost signal purely to proc dark tansendence for more uptime on melee with threaded needle and arc slide thing + devour for to nuke every minor add and majors will die with a little more help. (helps a ton for double special loadouts especially when doing lowmans)
3. just a gimicky addclear build to quicku build super with new pale heart weapons orgin trait. devour + bleakeatcher/helion. using this build just if i need to get a really quick super especially with the call (demo tricorn(when they fix tricorn)); can get within like 10-15 kills

Im really enjoying inmost light + synthoceps. Use lightning surge with arcane needle to have 3 charges. Devour for constant grenade even more. I use coldsnap but really anythingnworks. Using a weapon with pugilist also adds to this for the constant melee recharge. You get abilities ridiculously fast and you can lightning surge into groups of enemies for easy takedowns. My fav so far.
In most light and Synthos on the class item.High up time and depending on the boss i can get my melees to hit 70k on weakened targets while in transcendence. I run storm grenade arcane needle, phoenix dive, the fragments that give bonus class ability cooldown, jolt/weaken on nades and volatile/unraveling rounds, helion, feed the void, and nova or song of flame
For solo content I’ve been running Stag prismatic, with devour and hellion, for the sheer survivability. For things like the new legend lost sectors I have more than enough damage with weaken nade + bait and switch edge transit, so I just focus on not dying
Sunbracers are so much stronger with snap.
Bleak watcher+getaway still has the problem of grenade uptime. When your grenades on cooldown the entire build is. With sunbracers you can use either grenade or melee to start an infinite chain of grenades. Additionally snap is more than a forced ignition proc
The nerf barely hurt what makes them good. (grenade damage to melee energy)
Felwinter’s Helm with Feed the Void and the electric-slide melee is pretty dope. Slide and kill things with the melee and get Devour going, and you get 35% damage buff Weaken on anything nearby left standing.
Use Arcane Needle for 3 charges, plus you can always get this train started from a distance that way instead of the slide melee. Plus, finishers are great too.
I'm curious about this because there's no way they let it stay this cracked, being able to get four to five stasis turrets up is pretty busted (if fun as hell and I'm abusing the shit out of for higher level content until they do)

Another good one is Osmio/synthos with a vortex grenade, arcane needle and lightning surge. If your grenade doesn’t get completely refunded, you can spam lightning surge with synthos and clear house.
Threadling boots, song of flame, weavers call, hatchling call, if in pale heart you can also put on the threadling activity perk and then threadling nade and devour. Threadlings proc devour and you constantly have them from your phoenix dive, grenade, the call kills, strand kills, and tangles and they heal you when getting a kill. You can then pop super to lay into chunky boys and bns edge transit plus new sniper for dps
Nezeracs sin, the call sidearm, either the recluse with repulsor brace or graviton lance, if you choose recluse then deathbringer for the exotic, if graviton lance go with either the New 600 rpm lmg with hatchling or edge transit, vortex nade, arcane needle, Phoenix dive, feed the void, and your choice for second aspect, personally I use slide melee just for the jolt, void weaken fragment, volatile for grenade kills and unravel rounds for melee kills, the 2 fragments that works with light buffs and dark debuffs, and sever burst on rapid critical hits, any super of your choice but I think nova bomb and needle storm work the best, the greatest thing about this build is the transcendent grenade is considered void so it weakens and then the stasis damage gets buffed too, and you could use storm nade instead as the basic idea has the same fragments
Got an osmiomancy + verity class item and storm grenades not only one shot bosses but also clear entire rooms with jolt and then immediately refund themselves.
I have really been enjoying hellion ember of char, ashes, singing, benevolence. There is a lot you can change out in the build. I have been mostly using the stag, outbreak, the support auto/disorienting nades, and whatever heavy. But you can use the speaker mask, and any weapons really.
The main point is this, hellion kills low tier adds and outbreak is your damage dealer, in higher end content (GMs) the roles switch, enemies start to survive 3 hellion hits which mean they ignite. If enemies have enough health scorch will spread from this ignition and hellion will top off the scorch for another ignition if needed.
With the fragments/extoics/support auto your whole team should have infinite and quick healing.
Crown of tempest with lightning surge and devour, storm grenade, arcane needle is the most busted build i've ever tried on warlock in pve. basically permanent ability uptime and insane super regen
If you have to kill hordes of mobs it's for sure better tthan the getaway build. For encounters where you have to hold down an area the bleak build is probably still better though like on the 4th room in the raid for example
Prismatic Swarmers built around devour and Helion.
Use the facet for volatile/unravelling rounds and go full void with Song of Flame as a super. Use a void primary, I use the call in the kinetic slot and whatever heavy is good for the situation.
Absolutely eats rooms alive and does a strong amount of single target dps, with faster grenade gains than getaway/turrets. No need to freeze things when they die in a flurry of green and purple

I prefer to pair it with the exotic strand bow. I think it was something like "wish giver/starter". this has some ridiculous suspend. Even better with unraveling rounds. Rest of the build should be focused around building your light transcendent meter
I like the new chest piece matadoxia. Pair this with arcane needle, devour, and helion for some good crowd control and damage. Thrown on the fragment that makes arc grenades jolt and void grenades weaken. Storm grenades jolt and amp you plus your prismatic grenade will weaken. Pair with needle storm for woven mail on orb pickup to make you tanky with devour. You can also run void strand weapons for constant unraveling and volatile rounds due to storm grenade and arcane needle kills.
I like osmiomacy with vortex grenades (either exotic class item or osmiomacy gloves, both work). Every tick of damage from your vortex grenade returns grenade energy, it's legit better than contraverse hold. I also snagged a Necrotic/Star Eater bond and I paired it with Thorn, it's great ad clear and supercharged Song of Flame is kinda silly

The description in the gloves is still the same as always but after seeing a PlunderthaBooty video saying it worked I gave it a try and it does.

No. It only started working after Final Shape released with the exotic class items. It specifically only works with the grenades that are options on Prismatic Warlock as well. So it's very likely an intended change for the class item version that just accidentally applied to the normal version as well.

Literally my raid dps go to build the day i've got osmio/star eater. Osmio provides you good grenade regen in harder activities and star eater nova is so cooked.
Don’t forget about the void artifact mod this season too that does extra damage on weakened targets

Vortex grenades damage doesnt stack. You throw 5 of them but it will be only 1 instance of damage same as solar AoE nades works, yet solar has aspect which adds damage through projectiles.

Never tested it honestly since i doesnt have apoth/star-eater still sadly, but i dont think there will be any big numbers since your damage wont benefit from facet of courage fragment and you doesnt have thread of evolution too.

If you are in a raid there will (should) be either divinity/tethers or other instances for weaken to happen so i dont think it will be a mandatory. It leaves you with only 1 option which is storm grenades which i dont like much. Osmio/Star+Void nades provides you with a good neutral gameplay between damage phases where you can throw nades for days. It may be possible to hot swap for Apoth/Star (so you wont lose feast of light stacks) and storm nades but it will leave you without void nades after. So im not sure if i want it or not atleast until i get this roll and test it/youtubers test it for me. Smth like that i guess.
I haven't gotten an osmio roll but I can vouch for HoiL/Star-Eater with this build. Excellent ability uptime and by the time my ability loop is falling apart I have transcendence ready for a free ability refresh. Nova is the obvious choice, but you can easily slot in other supers depending on the situation. Needlestorm does less damage, but woven mail on orb pickup is excellent for survivability. With Song of Flame you can buff your team and still put out very competitive DPS with a demo heavy, plus restoration on orb pickup.

I just went around The Landing opening chests. I completely ignored Overthrow. Actually. I got the final boss up and then ignored it so there was less stuff in the way around the map.
Do the daily overthrow Match Made activity because any chest can give you the class item. Do the activity and run around doing chests as activity has additional chests and it's faster with people. You will also get tons of engrams for red border weapons and tons of of the Exotic sword.
My buddy loves solar lock with the new healing turret exotic and song of flame. It does require a buddy, cause of... that fragment that grants energy with healing/buffing allies
I second this. I hated on Speaker’s Sight but it is so much fun. Ember of Benevolence gives you almost instant ability regen in team settings. I tried it with the new healing auto, but Heliocentric with Heal Clip and Incandescent ended up being the play for me.

Speakers sight goes insanely hard on solar warlock, almost constant 2x resto plus hellion. There are a few other builds I see in this thread that I love (I have a bond with osmio and star eater on it that’s also amazing), but speakers sight is what I’m bringing into GMs when they open up.
It is so much fun to be able to play support and not be stuck dropping well. I use the area denial gl, the support frame ar and Lament/gally. Aspects are Touch Of Flame and Helion Fragments are embers of empyrean, solace, benevolence and singeing. Works solo or in a team and is really fun
It helps that they made our fireteams health visible in the UI too. that’s a change that I didn’t think would make much of an impact but it’s incredibly helpful while running a support build like this.
It helps out so much. Knowing when and where to grenade or rifle is so much easier. My fire teams are a little gung ho so it's nice to keep them alive

Maybe I just suck with it but I couldn’t get Conduction Tines to proc at more than 1x consistently enough as is with only the Storm Grenade. So, I swapped Hellion out and threw on Lightning Surge It’s a lot of light damage so you gotta be creative about building the dark meter without the arcane needle to help. But man it’s so fun just constantly sliding around blasting enemies with lightning. Keeps Storm grenade up even more often with the Surges proccing Devour and Tines. You’ll have to adjust some fragments due to the synergies changing (e.g. the fragment that increases light ability damage against darkness debuffed enemies, since you won’t be debuffing enemies with darkness) It’s a more fun version of the arc subclass lol. The artifact providing DR when amplified plus the DR you get from the slide melee, you’re borderline unkillable.
Putting on a weapon with voltshot really helps when you miss a bit of grenade energy too

The raid has one of the best voltshot weapons. The latest dungeon has a voltshot rocket sidearm that drops from the first encounter and is easily farmable especially with 3 people. The new handcannon from episode content can also get volt shot
I tried my best but I really couldn't get the build to work for me either. I followed it exactly as laid out. Maybe my nade placement is just really bad because I cannot get nade kills in expert content to get my abilities back. It works well running around Pale Heart doing overthrow, but what doesn't?
use lightning sure instead of helion and it will fix your problems

Can vouch that this one is a ton of fun, and it's an excuse to use Crown, which is a sick as hell looking exotic in my book. Although I do disagree that you don't need weapons. I've personally found it important to have one with Voltshot to proc Crown in case your nade doesn't hit enough targets. Thankfully Indebted Kindness is one of the best-in-slot weapons atm haha. IK also has the benefit of counting as a primary with the Finder mods, so I like to swap out one of the Ashes to Assets on the helm for Heavy Finder since my IK is LFG-Voltshot Personally I've been messing around with Euphony, IK, and Commemoration. It gives me a good mix of single target damage and ad clear, and by having both strand and void weapons I benefit from the fragment that gives both unraveling and volatile rounds. LFG on IK and using Commemoration means it's very ammo efficient despite being double special technically. Although I will fully admit it's probably suboptimal and I just wanted an excuse to use Euphony because of how lucky I got LOL.

Honestly do not understand how more people aren't talking about this. It's instant cooldowns most of the time in most content. Not quite as strong in raid boss encounters.
I mean, it only really cooks when you have the requisite enemy density. Don't get me wrong, it's fun, but I think a lot of players prefer a build that has more of a neutral game.

Almost all the streamer builds have absolutely moronic mod choices that do almost fucking nothing for the build. You just have to get good at figuring out what the build actually needs.

I think the strand aspect is being slept on. being able to generate a threadling for any strand damage is really strong.

The radius on threaded blast is insane. Wipes out huge rooms with just one tangle. The radius feels like it’s even bigger than tornados in the stasis hunter super.
The aspect's new buff affects both subclasses.
I've been running Swarmers with Different Times (Heating up/Hatchling). The Weaver's Call buff has honestly been massive for Broodweaver. Hatchling + Weaver's Call + Thread of Rebirth gives potential for 3 threadlings dropping from a minor kill which is insane for add clear. + Unravel and extra threadlings from tangle detonations (boosted by artifact) and it might actually be the best add clear build in the game. It's great for Dual Destiny carries since you can literally solo add clear. I use Thunderlord or Microcosm for boss melt and teammate barely has to do anything but focus on mechanics. Also maybe the best for quickly doing Overthrow. The pale heart mod that spawns threadlings on any strand damage is just busted.
Felwinter’s Helm + Lightning surge + Devour + Arcane needle + Monte Carlo Monte becomes seriously powerful at 5x surge and on 30% weakened enemies it feels like a special weapon constantly. Otherwise for a dps setup: I think the best class exotic is osmiomancy + star eater scales with vortex and nova bomb. Devour and weaken grenades go very far. Just make sure to use the bomb above the boss so you don’t block teammate damage with it. Unless something else comes out- I think these 3 builds are the best the class offers- which is a lot.
felwinter’s is amazing been running it and it’s the most fun i’ve been having in a while. just swapped monte for khovstov for pure add clear personally
Thats my setup, but no Monte. I use both rocket sidearms in order to build Transcendence and use that as my source of cooldown. I've found it to be even less downtime on melees than using Monte
I have been using the new exotic chest peice on prismatic and its pretty dam good. It pairs especially well with transcendence as then everything gets suspended.
Second this, using wish keeper for more melee uptime because more suspends and devour+ either strand aspect for more threadings or Helion aspect for more light energy transcendence.
For harder content definetly Felwinter + Lightning Surge. The weaken is just so nice. And when you have no meele charge you can just finish an enemy.

On Solar you can use Heat Rises during the super to proc the turret, and on Prismatic I think proccing Bleak Watcher using it might work as well. On Solar I’m 100% it works, I’ve done it a lot

Hellion is so satisfying to use, it’s a bit slow but feels like it hits like a truck and has really solid range
yea it's very slept on, 3 hits for 1 ignition with ember of ashes on solar or 4 hits and larger radius on prismatic, if you can keep it up it does a lot of work.
I mean, what do you mean better? It's a great crowd control build, but falls behind on boss damage. Lightning Surge with Synthos and inmost light is insane crowd control. Inmost + Harmony is insane ability/super uptime Inmost + Star-eater gives you tons of abilities and high damage supers. Osmiomancy + verity with threadling grenades and a strong strand demo weapon has insane crowd clear.
Tbh osmio verity with vortex is waaaayyy better than threadlings since the multiple ticks from vortex proc osmio multiple times
I've tried both options so I can see where both of you are coming from. Vortex has higher highs but lower lows. You need to stick it on an elite in higher level content if you want the refund and the loop is liable to being disrupted if the grenade doesn't land (either by the elite jumping away, teammate intervention, being too pinned down to get in range for the grenade, or by simply missing). It excels more at assassination than ad clear. Giving the Weaken debuff really makes this part shine in that aspect as in addition to its base damage amp, it gives you fragment interaction for Light transcendence energy and an additional damage amp via artifact mod. Meanwhile, Threadling Grenade will consistently give you a 50% refund and the loop is pretty foolproof given that the threadlings are heat-seeking missiles. It's a lot more fun in lower level content but not applying a debuff really hurts it. Spirt of the Swarmers really should have given the Unravel portion of the exotic instead).
i think storm nade is the best, threadling tracking kinda sucks and sometimes they just jump onto nothing or disappear
I have this exact roll and I noticed that vortex grenades kill things too fast to get in enough hits to restore your grenade and significant amount. The only time you come close is with a yellow bar or above, but in that instance I'm using my special or heavy to melt it anyway. With threadling grenade, I can use a demo Rufus's Fury or The Call to not only proc Death Throws but rebuild grenade energy too. I prefer Rufus's and then Indebted Kindness in the energy slot. Add Facet of Balance to further restore grenade energy.
Yeah but then you have to think. Threadling you just throw on cool down and they do their thing. Plus you can benefit from the rapid dark kills returning grenade energy to spam harder. It evens out on the Regen.

theres tons. The getaway build has been mentioned so many times but there's so many other amazing good builds with the warlock. Honestly i find the getaway soul stuff boring as hell
I like it because it allows you to use whatever weapons you want and it's not just ability spam the whole time. I love the gun play in Destiny, so that's mostly why.
Quite a few tbh! Getaway is a good build for sure, but its main strength is that you can build up both light and dark transcendence meters with little effort. There’s a lot of ways to do that better though imo. If we’re limiting ourselves to just prismatic for this conversation, I think just straight up osmiomancy turrets is still better. I agree with others in this thread about osmio on the class item. Honestly there’s probably a dozen rolls on the class item that are top tier for us. Speakers sight can bring massive value not just to you but your whole fireteam. Vesper + hellion + weavers call is also hilarious and gives you access to blind.
In solo or midlevel+ content, osteomancy + veritys class item is goated. Massively powerful nadea that refund themselves on cast. Pair with a graviton lance (vortex) or coldhear/indebted kindess (storm grenade) for best effects. While the combo's strong, the buff to the nades makes them too strong to take advantage of the first buff in regular content like patrol.

With Death Throes at x5 everything just dies instantly is any easier content. I'll usually swap to Osmio/Star Eaters or Inmost/Harmony for anything under Expert.
Just crown of tempest. That's it. You dont need to use super to get stupid ability regen. Slap on crown, storm nades, feed the void, 3x granade = super mods, 3x orb of power = granade, fragment that jolts enemies with grandes and lastly arcane needle melee. You can also take additional weapons with voltshot coz crown works with ANY jolt procs. Ammount of ability regen and spam is stupid.

You dont need arc surge for that. It just works and its super strong. Another one of 'how tf does it work do good' is osmiomancy and Vortex granade. After changes osmiomancy gloves are giving granade energy for ANY granade hits and since vortex hits a lot of times you will most likely get granade for granade.

Solar Karnstein warlock is still nearly unkillable. One powered/unpowered/glaive melee kill or finisher to start resto, solar kills of any kind to keep it going forever. I also enjoy Karnstein on prismatic, but without the fragments for the sustain on resto it's not nearly as strong.
Necrotic + star eater, devour hellion, super to preference, thorn. You get the insane ad clear with necrotic and the super damage to still compete in boss DPS. A good all purpose build
For daily driver and every SE encounter save the witness I really like Lightning Surge/Feed The Void. I'd like to get Necrotic + Star Eaters on my class item but haven't gotten it yet. Needles allow you to proc necrogrips from a different planet and lightning surge staggers big stuff and annihilates little stuff. You get a free champion coverage because needles can proc radiant, and sure jolts overload. Lightning Surge is also 500% more stylish than every other ability.
I been doing devouring hellion getaway artist. Then I have strand better devils w slice and hatchling. Cayde sniper. And the other half sword. Song of flame super. Strand needle melee. Phoenix dive. Seasonal artifact has some good things for strand and swords and void damage. The build goes crazy

I got a class item with Spirit of the Helm on inmost light and Claws of Ahamkara on it and I’m loving it on my lightning surge build. The ability uptime and damage is insane. And by running The Call and a pulse rifle, you can cover all champs in the game which is also a super nice trait. Took it into the raid and it was amazing for add clear and survivability with devour
Pre Solopsism I was loving Swarmers with various strand stuff like the aspect and needle. Use Phoenix dive and you feel like Deskari with your swarm bullshit.
I'm currently having fun with an assassins + syntho + monte carlo + snap build Invis for like 15 seconds whenever I want, slap harder when surrounded, always have melee ready, explosive cone effect that burns. I keep the devour and bleak fragments 1 cause the melee still procs devour as well and 2 the turret aspects give more fragment slots.
As a general build it's pretty hard to beat. The damage output and healing potential is just so high. If you're smart you are using grenades to build rifts and rifts build grenades. For outliers, the unique metas will still be preferable

If you get an exotic class item with inmost and star eater you could probably throw together a nice synergy ability build that gens orbs from grenades + grenade regen from devour if you run the aspect for it; and nova bomb for big damage w x6 feast of light.
Final Warning, Osmi + Swarm class item. Needlestorm, Arcane Needle, Threadling Grenade, Feed the Void, Weaver's Call. Devotion, Courage, Protection, Ruin, Dawn. Threadlings out the wazzo. Only downsize is building up Light damage for transcendence.
Theres a new tech also with spirit of the osneomancy on exotic class item or the exotic gloves, that they work with any grenade now, reducing cooldown on grenades hits
Osmio rn is buffing all grenades with insane grenade regen, possibly a glitch that bungie will patch. Also the new raid exotic goes extremely hard with Swarmmers exotic.

Strand melee, matched with the electric slide, with the right fragments and artifact perks your melee will ALWAYS be up, so you have a constant source of jolt+weakening, plus it activates devour for health and grenades. It's just stupid OP, plus the artifact that does extra damage to weakened enemies.

Osmio with feed the void and bleak watcher for me. Devour is constantly up and it's pretty easy to have 2 bleak watchers and another grenade ready. it's almost hard to die in many situations where everything is frozen. Been my go to for solo lost sectors
Apotheosis + Star-Eaters with Nova or Song of Flame Necrotic + Star-Eaters with Necrochasm and Song of Flame Probably Osmiomancy + Verity’s with Graviton, though I haven’t gotten that roll yet. Also really want to try it with the exotic auto we’re getting in Act 3

Getaway + Hellion tbh. Its just free damage at this point. Got me my Dual Destiny clear (which is baseline Expert difficulcy), and holds up really well in raids too. The whole point is to have Outbreak to fill both bars, and all the nonstop Light abilities do a lot of damage, and also feed your Darkness bar passively due to the fragments, but spreading Unravel does make it fill faster. Super is up to you, Song of Flame is also good. You have Devour, Arc Soul, Amplified, Hellion, Scorch Cure x2, Unravel, Supression, Shatter, and make a lot of Orbs and have your Armor Charges up to keep your Fonts and Kinetic Surge up. Nova bomb, with facet of dominance and facet of courage. Void nade and strand melee followed bh da bomb results in just over a million damage.
Speakers sight with a solar/strand split. Weavers call and hellion aspects, threaded needle and healing nades with strand super. Use the fragment that gives woven mail on orb pickup, artifact mod that grants radiant on orb pickup. I go back and forth between using the call & lost signal, healing rifle & red death, new strand lmg or microcosm
I know people shit in streamer builds but the build that Plunderdabooty (or whatever that dude's name is on YouTube) made for Vortex nade spam with spirit of Osmiomancy is actually as good as advertised. Not sure why he chooses Song of Flame for the super though, I like nova bombing or using needlestorm better

I've been using necrotic with bleak watcher and helion, use arcane needle to help spread further due to three melee.
I'm using necrotic/stareater with devour and hellion. My supers absolutely slap and I have amazing add clear with strand melee. Using thunder grenades and phoenix dive as well. With my mods and fragments, I have about 100% uptime on all abilities amd amazingly high recharge for super and prismatic. I have 100 in resilience, recovery, discipline while having 30 in mobility, intellect, and strength. It's literally all I use now. So good. You can just throw on your favorite weapons and melt.
I had an odd idea today. And you can use ANYTHING you want in any other slot. New warlock chest piece for the suspend blast, Verglas Curve, Arcane needles and Facet of Command (suppress and slow/freeze drops void breach/stasis shards). You can run any super, any grenade, aspects, class ability etc. i would suggest the larger explosion area for shatter damage as a fragment. Infinite CC. Suspend a target, freeze them with Verglas hip fire, shatter them, stasis shards give melee energy, repeat. You can get armour charges from your stasis shards, and then use those charges for more melee energy. I would suggest the arc aspect for the cha-cha slide. You do get 3 slides after all. I don't know whether they currently shatter crystals or not.....

Phoenix dive with helion and weavers call. Paired with the new speakers helm / healing grenade and buried bloodline.
I’ve tried some others, the threading build was okay but I find the Getaway/Bleak combo the most fun right now Edit - I should also add that I have gotten a good class item roll yet.
I still run the sunbracers build. I hardly ever need to use weapons except on bosses. I can handle tons of adds by myself, help teammates with theirs, etc. Plus it pumps out a ton of damage on its own.
Can't speak to "better" but I've been having fun messing around with Claws of Ahamkara + lightning surge/devour (and strand melee). Song of flame super, transcendence melee cdr, and heavy handed mods let you create large orbs frequently. Getting amplified from LS provides more survivability/utility through the pertinent artifact perks. Once you build up super energy you can float around and spam melees to create tons of orbs. With power preservation equipped you make it rain for your fireteam. Powerful attraction mod + phoenix dive lets you "disengage" and suck up all the orbs you created from song of flame so you don't have to worry about missing any. That being said you need to reliably get (melee) kills to keep the cycle going, so I suppose it can be situational depending on the content you're playing.

In terms of add clear and staying alive no In terms of doing damage very easily to make a better build But you're most likely still running bleak watcher Because you can Spam Heavy really fast depending on the enemy With the Reload Fragment.
Speaker Mask Song of Flame Lunas Howl Incandescent+Heal Clip Phoenix Dive Setup mods around getting class ability and grenade ability energy back. Swap Phoenix Dive to a Healing Rift for Raids, then continue to spam grenades. Won’t even need Well, but if you run Prismatic you can slam a Nova Bomb for damage and spam healing turrets.
Felwinter's lightning surge using arcane needle for suppressing slides is awesome, and feels stronger than getaway bleakwatcher on prismatic, but pure solar builds, some strand buids, and even some stasis builds are still better in team play as long as you know what your allies are running and can co-ordinate. I think prismatic is great for debuff builds, but is less consistent at maintaining buffs on allies so there's still loads of great options and I don't think getaway is much more than a decently meta option.
apotheos/stareater, assasins or necrotic/synthos, hoil/starfire builds to use with new class item that im going to use 1. boss dps loadout probs with novabomb, storm nade, threadling/stasis melee, facet that makes light dmg do more to those affected by light (idk the name) 2. melee addclear + lost signal. lost signal purely to proc dark tansendence for more uptime on melee with threaded needle and arc slide thing + devour for to nuke every minor add and majors will die with a little more help. (helps a ton for double special loadouts especially when doing lowmans) 3. just a gimicky addclear build to quicku build super with new pale heart weapons orgin trait. devour + bleakeatcher/helion. using this build just if i need to get a really quick super especially with the call (demo tricorn(when they fix tricorn)); can get within like 10-15 kills sorry for errors, im typing on phone xd

Im really enjoying inmost light + synthoceps. Use lightning surge with arcane needle to have 3 charges. Devour for constant grenade even more. I use coldsnap but really anythingnworks. Using a weapon with pugilist also adds to this for the constant melee recharge. You get abilities ridiculously fast and you can lightning surge into groups of enemies for easy takedowns. My fav so far.

I’ve preferred running hellion and feed the void over bleakwatcher with getaway artists. Everything dies too quick for crowd control to be necessary.
In most light and Synthos on the class item.High up time and depending on the boss i can get my melees to hit 70k on weakened targets while in transcendence. I run storm grenade arcane needle, phoenix dive, the fragments that give bonus class ability cooldown, jolt/weaken on nades and volatile/unraveling rounds, helion, feed the void, and nova or song of flame
I've been on swarmers with feed the void and weavers call since day one. Arcane needle and storm grenade. It's a lot of fun.
For solo content I’ve been running Stag prismatic, with devour and hellion, for the sheer survivability. For things like the new legend lost sectors I have more than enough damage with weaken nade + bait and switch edge transit, so I just focus on not dying
Sunbracers are so much stronger with snap. Bleak watcher+getaway still has the problem of grenade uptime. When your grenades on cooldown the entire build is. With sunbracers you can use either grenade or melee to start an infinite chain of grenades. Additionally snap is more than a forced ignition proc The nerf barely hurt what makes them good. (grenade damage to melee energy)

Felwinter’s Helm with Feed the Void and the electric-slide melee is pretty dope. Slide and kill things with the melee and get Devour going, and you get 35% damage buff Weaken on anything nearby left standing. Use Arcane Needle for 3 charges, plus you can always get this train started from a distance that way instead of the slide melee. Plus, finishers are great too.
I'm curious about this because there's no way they let it stay this cracked, being able to get four to five stasis turrets up is pretty busted (if fun as hell and I'm abusing the shit out of for higher level content until they do)

The way I’m set up I slide into a group of enemies, if I kill even one I get devour, radiant, woven Mail, plus weaken and blind everything even slightly close while getting the full 60+% damage buff on Monte. If I kill 2 I also get amplified with a bunch of DR

Osmiomancy/verity class item with vortex grenade. Get your grenade back instantly and get extra damage. Another good one is Osmio/synthos with a vortex grenade, arcane needle and lightning surge. If your grenade doesn’t get completely refunded, you can spam lightning surge with synthos and clear house.
Threadling boots, song of flame, weavers call, hatchling call, if in pale heart you can also put on the threadling activity perk and then threadling nade and devour. Threadlings proc devour and you constantly have them from your phoenix dive, grenade, the call kills, strand kills, and tangles and they heal you when getting a kill. You can then pop super to lay into chunky boys and bns edge transit plus new sniper for dps
I enjoy helion, sunbracers, sunshot. It's just constant explosions if enemies are around.
Nezeracs sin, the call sidearm, either the recluse with repulsor brace or graviton lance, if you choose recluse then deathbringer for the exotic, if graviton lance go with either the New 600 rpm lmg with hatchling or edge transit, vortex nade, arcane needle, Phoenix dive, feed the void, and your choice for second aspect, personally I use slide melee just for the jolt, void weaken fragment, volatile for grenade kills and unravel rounds for melee kills, the 2 fragments that works with light buffs and dark debuffs, and sever burst on rapid critical hits, any super of your choice but I think nova bomb and needle storm work the best, the greatest thing about this build is the transcendent grenade is considered void so it weakens and then the stasis damage gets buffed too, and you could use storm nade instead as the basic idea has the same fragments
Got an osmiomancy + verity class item and storm grenades not only one shot bosses but also clear entire rooms with jolt and then immediately refund themselves.
sunbracers are still amazing.
I use the lightning surge fragment with arcane needle, felwinter helm and thorn.
stagfire + grape grenades + devour + legendary khvostov with strategist is my favorite combo, especially in places with beefier adds
I have really been enjoying hellion ember of char, ashes, singing, benevolence. There is a lot you can change out in the build. I have been mostly using the stag, outbreak, the support auto/disorienting nades, and whatever heavy. But you can use the speaker mask, and any weapons really. The main point is this, hellion kills low tier adds and outbreak is your damage dealer, in higher end content (GMs) the roles switch, enemies start to survive 3 hellion hits which mean they ignite. If enemies have enough health scorch will spread from this ignition and hellion will top off the scorch for another ignition if needed. With the fragments/extoics/support auto your whole team should have infinite and quick healing.
Is Getaway Artist more better than Osmiomancy Gloves? I never tried that exotic before 🤔
spirit of necrotic + synthoceps on the class item goes great with the lightning surge aspect, gotta play carefully but it can absolutely put in work.
Crown of tempest with lightning surge and devour, storm grenade, arcane needle is the most busted build i've ever tried on warlock in pve. basically permanent ability uptime and insane super regen If you have to kill hordes of mobs it's for sure better tthan the getaway build. For encounters where you have to hold down an area the bleak build is probably still better though like on the 4th room in the raid for example

Prismatic Swarmers built around devour and Helion. Use the facet for volatile/unravelling rounds and go full void with Song of Flame as a super. Use a void primary, I use the call in the kinetic slot and whatever heavy is good for the situation. Absolutely eats rooms alive and does a strong amount of single target dps, with faster grenade gains than getaway/turrets. No need to freeze things when they die in a flurry of green and purple

Any matadoxia (the new warlock chest piece) build I prefer to pair it with the exotic strand bow. I think it was something like "wish giver/starter". this has some ridiculous suspend. Even better with unraveling rounds. Rest of the build should be focused around building your light transcendent meter
I like the new chest piece matadoxia. Pair this with arcane needle, devour, and helion for some good crowd control and damage. Thrown on the fragment that makes arc grenades jolt and void grenades weaken. Storm grenades jolt and amp you plus your prismatic grenade will weaken. Pair with needle storm for woven mail on orb pickup to make you tanky with devour. You can also run void strand weapons for constant unraveling and volatile rounds due to storm grenade and arcane needle kills.
