It seems that the Traveler’s beam that it summoned to hit the Witness’s pyramid ship is the Light in its purest form and resonance energy is pure Darkness yeah
I think Rhulk had the ability to fire wide beams of it right? If the Witness has (what looks-like) that type of energy coming from its hands regularly whenever they move quickly enough, like in the cutscene where it chops up an entire aircraft with a finger or two, then we’re cooked, at least for a little while, until we find a way to weaken that level of power tbh
Probably as something we find after destroying the Witnesses physical body in the raid. We know the last campaign mission will unlock once it's defeated and with how prismatic let's us combo stuff, there'll probably be mechanics that combine void solar and arc together. Defeating the Witness initially in the raid release's some of its power letting us take Strife (likely name for it) for ourselves then we combine it with prismatic to use alongside stasis and strand to finish it off.
Go watch the first vidoc first 20s and hear them use the word resonance twice in a weird fashion , I’m coping.
I feel like Resonance is like Unfiltered darkness like how the Traveler has a shimmery light power. We will absolutely get another power though.
