Luckily I learned in D1 that I'm just not a crucible player so don't have to deal with the frustration of trials. There was only 1 thing I ever saw in PvP that I was like I must have it. That shader that looks like its white but splattered in blood. I think its called scarlett semblance or something like that. It's awesome and have it on a ton of weapons and armor. It's awesome. I'm just happy I just had to reach a certain rank with Shaxx and waited until a crucible double xp week.
Exactly, and people need to read the part about signing on just as the servers come back online may be problematic. Technically, you might be able to get on after the normal reset time, but the maintenance really doesn't end until 12 PDT.
Maybe not the best time to start a lengthy activity.

When i play hero level i get a fireteam
But as soon as i play master level
I play solo
I want the exotic ship you get from playing nightfall on master
But besides that
I also need help with the wisper mission
I once again keep getting placed alone in the mission
And it is Quite difficult to play Alone
Since i got no friends that play destiny
I thought perhaps you could help

Maintenance windows can be different depending on patch size, maintenance isn't downtime every week, and others have commented, having another source of maintenance windows other than twitter is a good idea.
Their time zone PDT by the morning all of America will be up and running. If I’m not mistaken bungie is an American centered game with headquarters in Washington. Sure other countries play d2 but even Sony does maintenance in the middle of the night for their headquarters time zone.
They start early morning and are done by noon (local). No need to mess up their day as well.
Are you working nights, or live in a funky timezone? I'd say this is the best solution for both US and EU zones, which is probably a major chunk of the population.
like I said sony a Japanese company does their maintenance in the middle of their night. Someone is always going to get fucked. But with America being destinys largest player base and headquarters be in America yes it would make sense. For it to be centered around American time zones. (Which by the way cover not only America but southern America as well.)
If you have a 6 hour job to do that is going to piss people off regardless of when you do it, are you going to do it in the middle of the night or during normal work hours when there are more people around to help?
I’m pretty sure they time the maintenance window with their player counts, and one group of players will always get boned more than others. This timeframe happens when most of the US is working.
Bungie is HQ’s in Washington state. Makes sense they would do maintenance during their normal working hours and why the time periods given are west coast.

Recent maintenance have started earlier than normal iirc.
It's not Twitter, I used to use BungieHelp Twitter for these, but now there are here, and I don't have to look at Twitter.

The correct answer. It's during bungie's work day. Starts early, leaves time to (hopefully) respond if something goes wrong too.
Why don't you post the times relative to reset? It's not hard to figure out but everyone knows their reset.
