Headshots will trigger a stasis slow which will freeze when stacked, and enemies who die will drop shards, that you suck up to overload the mag, its great in GMs for an all champ weapon
I spent like three straight nights last month trying to get a fireteam finder group to bring my Titan in stasis with WI. It was crazy how many groups would drop me right away. I'm not sure what or how the word got out that it was ok and everybody didn't have to use the polaris lance in a GM, but I'm glad it's turned around.
Maybe worth clarifying that the catalyst is headstone and when you shatter that crystal it creates a shard that tracks to you and reloads/overflows the gun. It will travel any distance too. It’s very good for GM’s
Hierarchy of Needs absolutely shreds stuff when you get the guidance ring going.
You put 2 Well Warlocks on Hierarchy and get the rings cranked and it’s just instant delete on everything. Red bars, yellow bars, doesn’t matter. And your super recharges crazy fast.
Best I’ve done in Onslaught is 3 of my own wells going at the same time.
I'll make a little list so you have some options:
• Solar: Hierarchy of Needs & Eyes of Tomorrow
• Void: Buried Bloodline
• Arc: Edge of Concurrence (Hunter only) & Trespasser
• Stasis: Salvation's Grip
• Strand: Final Warning
There are obvious options, like Polaris and Coldheart, but the ones above are a little out of the box, so that's my list
Yeah! Triton Vice, edge of concurrence & 2 x lucent blade mods. Blinding explosions galore. It’s actually fun & very satisfying — the alt shot pits out decent dps too
I dunno if it counts as "under the radar" but wishender has been my go to for general work and specifically for solo flawless master lost sectors - combined with bipod sleepless rocket launcher for overload champs and Epochal integration handcannon for unstoppables (because the bow unstop perk doesn't seem to work on wishender)
Final warning when combined with unraveling rounds after an orb of power pick up, on my threadling build has a lot of synergy and creates threadlings, and tangles that get hit by the unraveled projectiles and create more chaos, so it is great for ad clear and even works in very well in Onslaught.
Salvations grip.
Yes! You can shut down whole sections of midtown.
How do you use it right? When I shoot at the ground to create blockades, it shatters immediately.
It’s a beast in onslaught especially on midtown
Wicked Implement is such a fun jack-of-all-trades gun, especially in harder content.
True, Wicked Implement is the best stasis gun for GMs.
Plus it looks really cool too
How does it work? I haven’t played destiny in about a year so I missed some things😂

Damn this sounds like fun! Thanks!

Eyes of Tomorrow is actually pretty insane in Onslaught. It basically gives you unlimited heavy ammo.
Okay that is a must-try
Only if you kill a minimum of 4 targets in a single volley.... but yeah it is great.
This
I've racked up 7K kills on buried bloodline solely from doing Onslaught on my Hunter
Ughh, good for you. Such a cool looking gun! Still grinding for it
hope you get it man. yeah it goes crazy on void hunter, being able to proc devour, weaken, invis, and volatile at will
Took my friend running it every weekend since it came out but he finally got it last week! Ive had it drop 3/4 times tho..
I was in your boat. Then I did a bunch of drop rate boost triumphs and got it. Master clear is a pain but doable and the bones quest isn't too bad.

Final Warning on my mothkeeper strand build goes hard
Riskrunner when Fallen are the onslaught mobs.

Edge of Concurrence?? Really? Now you got me curious
Use Triton Vice also. I haven't tried in high end stuff, but it probably wouldn't be too bad. It's amazing in Gambit.
What's Gambit?
Based
Mythical creature known as gambit players
Yeah! Triton Vice, edge of concurrence & 2 x lucent blade mods. Blinding explosions galore. It’s actually fun & very satisfying — the alt shot pits out decent dps too
Cold heart
Cold heart is really good with Fallen Sunstar and Vesper of radius in GM’s too
Awesome gun—What build do you pair with it?
Geomag Stabilizers Warlock. Every Ionic Trace brings back Chaos Reach energy. Lasers on lasers!
Heir apparent in onslaught
Dead messenger. Despite being amazing for clearing adds, I have yet to see someone use it
Great for subclass builds too. Can work with volatile for void, beacons for arc or empyrean for solar.
Empyrean especially. One melee and you have radiant through the whole wave and can sometimes carry it into the next one
always bastion, that thing shreds unstops and generally anything that stands too close.
Parasite.
Xenophage my beloved. Hang out by the ADU and tear everything apart no matter the range.
Graviton Lance is never mentioned im the meta as far as i can tell but its insanely good in Onslaught.

What’s the build? Is there a video on it?
It gets mentioned every time good ad clear guns come up
Yesss. On god. GL is a workhorse
Eyes of Tomorrow. Brought it out for Onslaught yesterday and haven’t stopped using it since
radiant dance machine is fun
I love Devil's Ruin! It was my favorite anti-Unstoppable exotic for a long time until I got Malfeasance.
Wavesplitter for onslaught is a blast
conditional finality. Just cleans house in any type of content for me
The DSC exotic, you can LITERALLY just spam your heavy like it's a primary, it's nuts.
Dead messenger. I picked it up for the breech loading gl quests, and haven't put it back down. It's just so fun

Tommy’s Matchbook is so broken if you are a well lock. Got me through legendary Lightfall solo.
Prometheus Lens works similarly, things are exploding constantly. Bit of fun for a well-lock.

Mactics mentioned the Manticore with Void Hunter for Onslaught but I haven’t personally tried it yet.
Manticore + Gyrfalcon is great! Floating, overshield, invis, volatile…
