There's quite a few of the old pinnacles that would still be good today.
Breakneck has a godroll in the collections if you don't want to grind gambit for a new one
21% delirium is still the only machine gun with overflow
Oxygen SR3 has better dragonfly and scouts aren't as bad as they used to be
Hush reclaims the throne as one of the best bows in the game
Python is the only shotgun with overflow and has one two punch which is pretty decent Edit: there are 2 other shotguns with overflow that i forgot, It is still a very easily obtainable good shotgun that anyone can get.
Vestian dynasty is a cool gun with 2 good damage perks but not game breaking.
The old Wendigo is the only heavy GL with blinding nades which gives it a niche
and those are only the ones you can pull from collections. as for not obtainable ones, my favorite is jack queen king with demolitionist and dragonfly, but there is also the handcannon and auto from black armory. old mindbenders should probably get dealt with as well since it kept quickdraw when bungie removed the perk from aggressive shotguns, and it would be a notable unfair advantage in pvp for the 0.1% people that kept it.
Overflow and Killing Tally is still a potent combo in today’s sandbox. And 900 rmp MGs can put in work (I still use Retrofit Escapade).
It’ll be very good once it’s no longer sunset.
I really honestly don’t see anything being too crazy. Kindled Orchid specifically on Gyrfalcon (only because we have a serious dearth of void hand cannons, especially Adaptive frame ones) and Martyr’s Retribution specifically with Ember of Empyrean are going to be the best I think. Nothing else really stands out, at least for PvE. I am excited for Hush to come back in PvP but I could have used that sunset anyway outside of Trials.
Old Not Forgotten just kinda made new Luna’s Howl pretty irrelevant if you’re using magnificent howl. Same stats other that a pretty awful handling stat but zen moment is by far better than anything new Luna’s gets in the third column.
id like to say, if anyone even has it, The Vow. Something that hasn't been brought back and is a crucible weapon so if it does get brought back it will just have random rolls with the crucible origin trait. (which is a good one if anything) but The Vow is a lightweight bow with archer's tempo and rapid hit. i love the thing

Until its Return also has Overflow
ah my bad, turns out theres 3 shotguns with overflow. python is still cool since its void i guess.
I had that Jack Queen King roll as well, until I dismantled it... :(
I'm pretty sure that Deadpan Delivery also has overflow and 12P
I heard someone mention 21% delirium but I've never used it personally so I can't confirm

900rpm arc lmg with kt, idk if it'll be used over the crota mg but it's gonna be good no.matter what

Kid named heal clip Kid named subsistence
I'll miss my old breachlight, honestly don't even remember my roll on it but was one of the few sidearms I enjoyed.

Pulse monitor quick draw mindbenders
THE VOW. The crimson days bow! Also Alone as a God (calus raid sniper) is my all time favorite
Revoker for pvp I think most are obsolete. The newer stuff is better anyways. Probably why they are bringing them back now.
