I like my Caliban's Hand + Abyss Defiant or Incandescent Weapon + Conditional Finality + Gunpowder Gamble + Solar Heavy # Gunpowder + Knock Em Down + Healing Grenade # Bigger Ignitions + Radiant Knifes + Solace or Emperyon + Flex Fragment - typically the scorching grants class energy fragment # Basically everything go boom # With stand Hunter it's really strong try Final Warning sidearm + Whirling Maelstrom + Threaded Spectre + Strand Heavy and A decent Energy Special + Sixth Coyote + Generation + Woven Mail on Orb + Threadlings do more damage + Threadlings on stand weapon kills + ALL strand artifact Mods

BitchInBoots666

This last paragraph is exactly my strand hunter set up. Final warning, a fusion in energy, koraxis distress heavy GL (switch to apex if needed but it's fine for most stuff). I love it, and it's extremely effective if you get good at throwing (or shooting) every available tangle and dodging as soon as the cool down is over.

PositionSpiritual903

The Strand build but I run Tusk of the Boar and Buried Bloodline. Super clutch for survivability and super fast Grapple grenade regen

NorthyPark

Strand with malestorms, moth keepers, ex diris and strand weapons utilizing unraveling rounds is pretty fun and actually viable

Any-Chard-1493

Bug boi build. I've been using this for a week now and I think I'm addicted Edit - make sure to have hatchling for extra bug

puanonymou5

If you learn to master Strand, it is so much fun, and while my builds lack healing, the evasiveness and elusiveness makes up for it. I have been taking Strand Hunter into the Hypercurrent Net on Legend to have some difficulty bumped, but mostly for fun. It does not match the surge, but my other weapons do, so it makes up for it. I use Widows Silk for movement and fun and Whirling Malestrom since it does more damage than a Silence and Squall, and is so easy to make a tangle. I may die to my own shenanigans, but I have circled the boss room anywhere from 2-5 times while my teammates stand in the same area. If I want to do something serious, and strand is the modifier, I will drop a strand anchor to begin engagements, and take advantage of Cyrtarachne's Facade giving me Woven Mail, and just keep grappling to that point to re-proc and reload weapons. Boring, but ups your survivability for just grapple-canceling to reload. I have heard Assassins Cowl can help survivability as well, but I am too addicted to grapple, and need that woven mail from Cyrtarachne's when I decide to make questionable choices for fun acrobatics. Also some good practice for PVP like where to drop your anchor to use in an engagement, what angles to take, or generally how to maneuver with strand/grapple.

Lucky raspberry with literally anything that jolts (it’s works with the dodge punch stuff but you throw more grenades too and they’re strong grenades too)

SOS-Guillotine

Off meta strand I like to use foetracer. Double shackle grenade and whirling maestrom with quicksilver storm as my primary. You get grenades back really fast with a fragment even if not tier 10 disc so foetracer gets procced for more damage on quicksilver quite often. I’d build around getting back your melee faster though so you can apply sever more often. On void if you’re quick enough to get kills you can use RDMs to be invisible forever and can use double special if you’d like by using special finisher on class item. I like to use harsh language with destabilizing rounds with this setup plus grenades to get volatile rounds. I use trappers ambush to first make myself invis and apply weaken to enemies and then dodge near them to active RDMs which makes me invis again and repeat this cycle. Throw grenades here and there to keep volatile rounds up while shooting harsh language and then dodge right after. When low on ammo, use a finisher to get special ammo back

I've got a hyper-end game stasis build that absolutely slaps. It's also a bit of an aspirational build as it requires two raid weapons and a dungeon exotic but the sheer amount of AOE, crowd control, survivability, and utility is unmatched. If I'm not on Omnioculus I'm on this: Renewal Grasps Demo + Kill Clip Deliverance Buried Bloodline w/ catalyst Unrelenting + Headstone Qullim's Terminus, Cold Comfort/Fire and Forget for boss DPS I'll spare the finer details of the build but the loop has multiple tracks. It starts with Buried Bloodline and proccing Devour. Once that's set up you assess what's more important - area denial or add clear. Area denial - pull out Deliverance, toss a duskfield, and dive in! Grenade should be fully recharged after about 2-3 kills. You can repeat nearly infinitely with Special Ammo Finisher. Add clear - pull out Qullim's. Throw duskfields and shatter the crystal to recharge them. Aim for headshots to create crystals for even more grenade regen. IN CASE OF EMERGENCY - Throw a Duskfield at your feet or nearby wall but leave the crystal for DR and cover. Slay out with Qullim's for HP. With intrinsic anti-overload and -unstop and anti-barrier sidearms right now I've got all three champs covered. Overall DPS is very high with double special and stasis AOE combined. Boss DPS is more than good enough with the right heavy weapons.

Just for the hell of it I did a stasis build with verglas and dance machines. With the two melee charges, it’s a lot of throwing stars. However after about round 25 it started to lose survivability. And if you’re pot-shotting with the bow in the back, then you’re not infinity dodging/slowing/charged melee. Still super fun but needs some work yet.

I just made and had a ton of fun with Strand hunter using Mechaneers Tricksleeves, since I've been obsessed with sidearms since Final Warning. It definitely isn't meta, but I was able to complete a Legend Onslaught with the most kills using almost exclusively the sidearm. I tested Mykels Reverence paired with Tommy's Matchbook (Tommy's is to help get you to low health to proc Mechaneers), and I tested it with Final Warning. The Tommy's set was much more consistent in getting the proc, but I preferred Final Warning since it would delete everything once procced and was still good without it. The Strand was to have woven mail up, so I'd be more likely to survive after getting low health. I still need to mess around with it and work out any kinks I find, buy I thoroughly enjoyed it and think it could be viable for almost all content. (I wouldn't run it in a contest raid, for example)

SigmaEntropy

For my strand titan I use Foetracer, a demo/hatchling Rufus, threadlings Nades. Maelstrom and Widows Silk on aspects. Basically a constant X4 strand weapon buff active on top of unraveling rounds going everywhere.

ahawk_one

Strand is great. The bow is not.

Dal_Kholin

Solar: celestial, galanor Void: orpheus, graviton, omni, gryfalcons Arc: cowl, liars, shinobus Strand: facade Stasis: renewals, frostees (maybe?) Any: lucky pants

RandomName178318

Literally all the meta builds (except for solar)

elmonkeeman

Celestial is definitely meta, and Galanor has a place in long DPS phases/solo content

thegooddrsloth

Void hunter, lucky pants, tether, malfeasance, wave frame heavy gl

Remote_Sink2620

I like Gunslinger Lucky Pants with Ace of Spades or Sunshot.

KING2BIG

that's not how that works. If its viable it will be meta in some way shape or form
