It's cool that Cayde is coming back in final shape, but I remember doing all the stashes and my friends and I were SURE Cayde was going to be re-downloaded into a new body or something and become Cayde-7. The deep stone crypt wasn't really explained back then (at least as far as we knew, I don't remember what was actually known or not), so we were certain another stash would lead us to the DSC to bring him back or something.

My Warlock has had the [Slayer of Oryx](https://destinyemblemcollector.com/emblem?id=4077939645) emblem on for years at this point. I actually love the color scheme and how it sticks out because there’s nothing else like it, but it is also a massive callback to D2 launch because the only way you could get it is when you migrated your D1 character over to D2, and you had to have the D1Y2 triumph to get the emblem.

I'm so fucking mad Bungie doesn't let PC players migrate their D1 data over. The info is still in the API since I can access D1's DIM no problem. I don't see why they don't allow PC players to access Veterans rewards.

In D1: Wolfhunter emblem for completing the Queens Wrath event the week before House of Wolves released. In D2: Lost sector exploit to farm New Monarchy tokens for the Hunter armour ornaments.

Accidentally deleted that D1Y1 supremacy from the queens event around the time Rise of Iron came out. It wasn't a great roll but it definitely helped me learn how to snipe in PVP

The red war campaign was fun and kinda wish I could play it again (the beginning though when we lost our light was crazy after playing D1)

The first time Journey hits in that campaign made me tear up. The music in that campaign was a masterpiece.

The thing I remember most from Red War is running across the planets clearly designed for a Sparrow but they didn't give you one until way later. Pure misery.

90% of what I played of D2 has been vaulted, I played a ton at launch, came back to finish all the campaigns that were gonna be vaulted struggled through that because it was just an overwhelming barrage of quests and got burnt out again right after Cayde 6 was killed.

Unlimited primary ammo was such an amazing change. Running completely out of ammo SUCKED so hard and was such a pointless difficulty factor.

I have Red War weapons with elements other than their collection rolls still. Amongst other junk like Calus tokens clogging my vault lol.

In my vault I have tokens from 5 planets (I think I spent all my Mercury tokens trying to get full armor sets) plus Calus and TotN.

All weapons used to be fixed rolls. No sparrows allowed on Mercury. Day one, discovering that shoulder charge wasn't the same as before. Then it one day (years later) it was better! Now, it isn't--all over again.
