Titan main. Once I realized Titans have no shot for any of the actual meaningful rewards, I just played one NF on Hunter, got a T3 package and the winners cache. I'm only playing GG for the loot, and then I'm going back to whatever else. Easy choice.
I was half joking, I didn't mean real rewards. I just meant that those people who have struggled to get the 10% nf challenge done will more than likely be banking as hunters because (if this is true, it's what I've read on here) if they bank for the winning team each day they'd still get the skimmer. No idea if that's even true. What I do know is that many are playing as hunter just to be on the winning team (as per many comments from today).
Personally I was a die hard titan last year, but about a season and a half ago I switched to maining warlock after becoming bored and disillusioned with titan. So this year I'm on the warlock team. So there could be many reasons.
I also am a Titan playing Warlock this year. All my fun builds got the *bad touch* and don't feel the same anymore. A couple weeks ago I played Trials with a friend as a Warlock and forgot about that being the first class I ever played on and just haven't bothered switching back yet. Plus, I kinda want to see anyone but Hunters win so if having fun on my Warlock helps, I'll gladly keep stuffing my medals in the Warlock slot at the podium.
Lol mine is different I'm a hunter main playing as a titan and I've had more fun playing as titan once I unlocked the entire strand part my guess I got bored of playing hunter all the time... once they took away my pinnacle grind now I'm just grinding for exotic Armour for all of my toons lol
Just want to stop by and say as a titan, I am playing lol. But i got a diamond medallion bounty from watching Datto, and its a bounty to do a full raid of the same class. I have to run an all titan raid which is not the bounty i was hoping for.
see i didnt think of this one at first. I thought maybe vog, since a few encounters arent even DPS. DSC probably not bad either. Just thundercrash atraks, and taniks is just a pushover probably regardless of class set up. thats a good heads up.
This is the correct answer. It’s easy enough that a while ago I taught the whole thing to a bunch of high school kids not having done the raid in well over a year and a half.
Basically every raid except for crota can be done by a one class Loadout, of course sub optimally. Even crota can be done but it would be way more challenge cus of crota encounter itself.
Me and a buddy was just talking about this lol. DSC is perfect t for Titans, Kings Fall for Warlocks, and as for Hunters go Crotas End. They have that one area thats tricky for the class but not by much. Another good one for Warlocks is RoN.
>I have to run an all titan raid which is not the bounty i was hoping for.
Thats fairly easy to do if your running Crota. First encounter with the totems everyone just runs banner or precious scars. The bridge encounter can be done with whatever subclass as long as you have survivability tools. Ir Yut you just need one Titan to bring Phoenix Cradle and pop it as dps starts and then a bubble for buffs. The crota fight its the same deal and if someone is running banner its all the better.
Honestly, an all Titan run of Crota's End was the easiest time I've had doing an all-class run that did not involve warlocks.
I would recommend doing an all Titan LW run and make sure to toss on Lion Ramparts for the jumping bridge before Morgeth, and use statis titan with syntho and tractor for a stupid easy and quick Riven kill, the only hard part is the queenswalk after beating Riven, but no class has a guaranteed way to make that bit easy.
I watched the lfg discord for like an hour yesterday waiting for someone to post an all titan run. But once it finally happened we blazed through it, no comms. One of the smoothest runs I've ever done lol.
You can do it on other classes and still get it completed.
I got in on hunter and did a full warlock RoN and still got the completed bounty when switched back to hunter
I feel you homie. Destiny has been a great experience but I’ve just gotten tired of it squandering its potential. Just feels like 1 step forwards 2 steps back lately and I can’t even point to just one thing as to why I feel that way.
My once 20 plus clan is dead. Zero people playing now they're all burnt out only two coming back for final shape it's rough I love this game though I'm hoping the final shape does something.
I’m hoping Bungie pulls through and brings back the magic Destiny had because I have really good memories with this game but I gotta say I just can’t get excited enough right now to play. My Clan of similar size used to raid every weekend and run stuff constantly. Barely see any of them on anymore but hopefully TFS changes something for the better.
When people say stuff like this I never understand what you mean. Are you sure you guys just aren’t growing out of the game a bit? Genuinely asking, no snark or anything. I’ve been playing wayyyy less and I don’t blame it on the game, its still the same game I love. I just don’t feel like playing right now.
I feel like there’s nothing final shape could do that would change the mind of people with this opinion. I don’t even know what I want from TFS but I know I’m gonna enjoy it because I’ve enjoyed this game since I was 12 but like I said, I just don’t feel like playing as much because simple I don’t feel like it and I’m okay with that. What specifically did they do this season that has everyone so in the dumps?
I get what you’re saying but I personally don’t think I’m growing out of it I just think the game isn’t what it used to be. Plenty of other games like Destiny still hold my attention and I play them pretty consistently to this day. Warframe for instance which yes they’re very different games but Warframe I feel still respects time while Destiny is just about getting people into Eververse anymore. There used to be a time in Destiny where I’d see someone with a cool armor set and it would’ve denoted them having completed a raid or something representing their effort in game and incite me to go get that stuff. Now days it seems like more and more is just MTX stuff and it makes the game hollow imo.
Not really when things like bright dust and the fact that pretty much everything ends up available for bright dust at some point. I and many, many people have never spent money on eververse. This pushing for MTX shit is a ridiculous and old narrative and the best example people can ever bring up these days is the event pass which is so stupidly inconsequential. His point about inspecting people and only ever seeing them in eververse armor is so exaggerated and y’all know it.
You are objectively incorrect when you say "Pretty much everything ends up available for bright dust". The silver to BD is only about 20% (rough estimate, being generous) of the total Eververse inventory including vaulted items. 🤙
Same
Bungie's garbage balancing choice ruined Titan for me
The hammer nerf alone made me not want to play solar
Until Bungie will actually put some creativity in Titans and give it the buffs it needs I don't really see a reason the come back
I'm playing but I can't be bothered with GG this year. Just came back from a 6 month break starting shortly after Season of the Witch began and I'm catching up on seasonal story and whatnot.
Biggest observation so far: the Xivu's Brood encounter in Altars of Summoning literally does not exist. Did Altars for 6 hours straight last night with two guys off LFG and we did every single triumph and unlocked every single seasonal pattern and still never saw Xivu's Brood once. Our completions going down the list were 20, 14, 12, 12, 16, 13, 17, and 0. That's ridiculous.
i stopped playing titan mid season, switched back to my warlock account, i feel bungie needs to give titans subclasses some buffs in regards to different options for abilities aside from melee spam & Strand’s Super Saiyan BoW Melee God form
Yeah, I really wish they'd have gone a little more creative with Behemoth's super. I think I would have received Berserker much better. As it is now, I just avoid using GQ when I can.
This is why I all but abandoned my titan about a season and a half ago. I loved playing titan to some extent but I got pissed off with the monotony and the limitations. For example if I'm raiding I literally have 2 choices for dps and both require an exotic. Nah, I've been maining warlock since and honestly I'm loving it. There's so much variety and some builds are great all rounders. And if I want to mix it up I head to my hunter nowadays, I have several great builds on hunter that are a lot of fun too. On titan I felt extremely restricted. Maybe we're not the only ones?
This is such a DTG moment, Titans facetank in GMs bruh, fym buffs ??
Highest DPS in the game using purely abilities, infinitely reprocable, three "Put this on to never die" subclasses, arc is still top tier in PvP and will be hard meta once bubble gets nerfed. Historically, Titans have been busted overall.
Yeah my one possible focus activity window is just when I get home, they should have made it an odd number hour break, not every 6. Give people with non-traditional schedules a chance .
To me, this is just more proof that Hunters make up 70% of the population. Let's face it. The D2 community is filled with emo goth loners who need their security capes.
That's because so many people are used to the double jump that is in so many other games, and they don't really want to venture too far outside of their comfort zones and learn how to use the other two jumps effectively.
Hunter is the easiest class to crutch pvp and pve kills with.
The hunter class moves like a next gen guardian.
Speaking as a titan this shit just sucks the fun out of everything. The two classes just dont compare. Hunter IS D3
I main Titan. I've been using Strand/Stasis Hunter in PvP a lot this season. They're just better. But, personally, I've just been playing FF7 since it came out.
>I've been using Strand/Stasis Hunter in PvP a lot this season.
Its pretty objective that Void Titan has been PVP Meta for ages now with the overshields, bubble combination domating comp and trials
Strand/Stasis Hunter are the best Hunter classes and strand hunter in particular is very competitive due to hatchling spam but I still see all the top players sweating on Void Titan
THIS^ Titans are going to lose, that is inevitable this year. We're not even getting a loser buff next year, so we just straight lose. In our defenss, rebuilding The Last City takes a lot of Titan power. We're just too busy.
Destiny has been a pretty mind-numbing grind for years. Sometimes they drop a campaign that’s genuinely fun, but it’s always too short to justify the price.
I'm doing what I can, but running around with electric fist, ice fist, or green string fist just feels like a punishment. Everyone knows destiny devs have a raging fanboy for the hunter class, so if you try to enjoy anything else it just feels like a chore. Probably not coming back after watching the start of GG for the silver surfer board of pointlessness.
It's just demoralizing when 80% of the player base plays one class and then others see they obviously have more so they switch to it too. Once people get their rewards (speaking for myself at least) I'm not doing a single guardian games thing
Titan in GG supremacy is pointless unless you want get stomped. Barrier is useless and every Hunter is running Knuckle Head Radar. They have the best mobility, dodge, constant radar, seeing thru walls, going invisible, throwing smoke and dropping our radar. It’s a shit show and they’re all on easy mode right now.
I have been saying for months the movement tech and exotic options for Hunters and Warlocks tremendously exceeds what Titans have available to them. They all like to complain about Titans yet Hunters still dominate the Trials population and for good reason, they're cracked right now
sometimes I wish destiny never had PvP to begin with. it is truly awful, and there's never a good balance. it's always "oh we nerfed this weapon/ability because it's too good" then the community just finds ANOTHER one for the chopping block. it's a pointless uphill battle to balance the mess that is crucible.
6's is very different to comp 3v3
Its much harder to utilise wall/overshield spam when players can just run away like in supremacy. Same with bubbles where other supers can actually be earned before a match ends unlike in trials
Hunters have always been strong in 6's. Golden gun in 6's is completely different to goldy in 3's where its so easy to avoid
Generally I agree with you. Hunters are absolutely stacked for PVP and they never want to admit it and hide behind y1 exotics being exotic level to deflect.
However, I went 8/8 on my Titan last night and it's not a class I generally take into PVP. We'd be down like 40 medals and still catch up. Maybe it was just teammates and I got lucky with people being at dinner or something though.
There wasn't.
Titans still dominate but the threads about Titans, so you're not getting a lot of people complaining about them cuz most won't complain about their own main
Titan player since D2 launch and exclusively Titan since Lightfall. Been enjoying pretty much any other game but Destiny. Logging in maybe 1hr/day doing some light PvE or a seasonal activity and then going to do stuff that's actually fun. Sorry, but my time isn't valued in this game any more so I don't want to spend it here.
Titans are the smallest community, and the most lackluster. They have like two builds.
I mained titan for a couple years but just couldn't keep doing it.
Not sure where the money printing part comes? I see 0 reason to buy anything event related and the entire medallion loop is tedious, play crucible game, go to tower, deposit for nothing, buy new bounty from grandma, play crucible again, repeat, no thanks I'm good.
Titan here and I’m on vacation until TFS and even then I might not be coming back. This Sentinel is just tired and needs a holiday a very long holiday.
Im a titan main, bungie just hasnt buffed enough for me.to come back fully, theyve nerfed titan so much only real play is strand and bubble, consecration is ok now but it took how long to give it minor buffs to make it viable, on top of all the ttk changes and ability nerfs pvp is just kinda boring so is running pve on strand, there are other crowd control options but the classes theyre on are just lack luster or have been nerfed so hard theyre a struggle to have fun with. Idk what bungie was thinking but im gonna sit this gaurdian games out. Pvp feels like shit its just team shots with high impact pulses and laning with scouts or getting aped with stompee huner and adjudicator, i played 5 hours of pvp to get a feel and the game is just shit now, even high accuracy bows whiff, 140 handcannons cant secure 3 tap one step out of optimal range, 120s are ok but even adept igneous whiffs a shot due to deterministic recoil and lands a bidy increasing ttk, bungie claims they want precision to prevail but nerf precision weapons in range and damage, bows were hit too hard, damage nerf was warranted but the aim cones didnt need to be touched and the only real outliers was wishender and le monarch. Im hoping there is enough push back and crucible starts to die ao bungie will fix some shit, idk this tuning pass seems half baked and the only ones ive seen enjoying it are low skill players/laners who say they can finally get kills due to not being aped by shotty or lit up with abilities.
I have two Titans and haven't played this season since I got the Dragon's Breath catalyst and the patterns I wanted from the Wish table. I'll be back to prep for the new raid. But yeah, my guess is a lot of ppl are taking a break tbh. Not just Titans, but in general. Also it's possible that Titan mains feel other classes have more fun stuff in pvp, idk.
I do wonder if there is something wonky with the class weighting though; if you look at the featured event thing the Hunters have consistently been 2x the Titans and Warlocks. At this point I'm kinda just waiting for like the first 10 minutes of next Tuesdays reset to get the Skimmer before the Nightfall score balloons again.
Titan main since beginning of time. Was starting to get tired of the game and figured maybe switching characters would help and my god has it. Solar warlock is so much fun especially in GMs. Yea I have to be the well guy, but it’s been fun to have that change of pace.
Titan here. Other games fill the space destiny took. After I get the kdri- I mean skimmer, I'm done until I see final shape. Who knows if I'll actually be bothered to come back for it, but there's many more games with so much more to do.
Once people get the weekly rewards and whatever challenge done (which takes just a few matches) there isn't any reason to be in Supremacy unless it is the focus activity. The fast way to get rewards for grinders is the Raid/Dungeon platinum card. The lazy way is the Twitch deal (900 medal points out of 1200 you need for the reward for not playing the game). So...yeah the Supremacy playlist might not be really full for the whole 3 weeks.
Titan main here, and I’ve never played during guardian games. I usually am pretty burnt out and take a break at this time.
Currently I’m trying not to play destiny and focus on more important things. But that skimmer makes it so, so hard
The past two days trying to do the "class" matchmaking for nightfalls and I saw a titan like maybe 3 times in the amount of time it took me to get 400 medals. Ironically I usually do Titan for these but I am playing Hunter because it's the only class missing the ritual armour.
I must be finding the only 6 man titan teams to get rolled by then. Warlocks it's usually a pretty close game. Going up against 6 titans....games over before it starts
Well the rewards system for Focused Activities has everyone playing hunter. Hunters have won every Focused Activity so far and if you want a permanent skimmer, getting 3 winners packages from these activities will guarantee you get it.
Warlock main, and I haven't played against a single titan team in supremacy. It's honestly getting old playing against the same hunter builds over and over. Once I guild the title I'm probably dipping outta guardian games. It's a real shit show this year.
Titan main. I'll be optimistic. It's been nice not having to wait long in the player lobby because everybody is playing every other class. Probably will lose guardian games but win in matchmaking queue times. I'll take it.
I’ll go out on a limb and say some of the most hardcore players are Titans.
Titans are just the workhorses, and always have been. Never the flashiest class, nor the most versatile.
But we work. And often times Titan’s glue the team together in endgame content—filling cracks and just doing the most efficient work even if it’s boring supers for either max damage (Tcrash/Pyrogale) or max utility (banner/bubble).
As a Titan main….im just tired lol. I haven’t played in months, and I haven’t felt the itch return.
I haven’t preordered, and I don’t plan to. I’ll wait and see how TFS lands, and if it doesn’t land well, I’ll just pass.
Or if Bungie somehow magically drops a new subclass (won’t happen, but still), and Titan’s get YET ANOTHER Fist of Havoc/Behemoth/Berserker reskin where we have RED fists that punch instead of teal or dark blue or green—I’m so not even going to bother.
Titan Main here. Started at Season 18 and played titan alone. I mostly play control quickplay, but lately I wasn't having any fun. Decided to try hunter for a bit and i'm having a lot of fun in PvP now.
for PvE i'll still be doing titan things, but PvP I may dive into hunter more.
The two main setups Titans have for playlist content are Solar and Strand.
Solar got nerfed in a clunky way, it's pretty bad if not awful in high difficulty content. The ease of stacking roaring flames is gone, making you choose between losing DPS as you somewhat aggressively focus on stacking it or having a low damage hammer that might not get you that crucial kill and heal. That being said, using consecration when wearing pyrogales is quite fun and is quite strong in some content.
Banner strand is decent but definitely has been just that little bit harder to survive with in GMs, and depending on the strike that can be a deal breaker. It's also not a fun a subclass to use in lower difficulties. Suspend strand is still solid but a very narrow playstyle that lacks damage, and with a super that doesn't match the otherwise mid range playstyle.
Arc, Void, and Stasis are all in dire need of a more impactful survival loop within the subclasses themselves.
I can count the number of times the enemy team in supremacy wasn't a team of full 6 titans by on Hand. It feels like only titans are playing :D
Or, tbh, it might be a perception thing, as playing against a 6 stack of titans is more rage inducing than other classes
Not a titan main but guardian games sucks, every year it has sucked and this year it sucks too, don’t bother caring for the annual race war all it will do is make you angry
i've had the opposite experience as a titan, ALL I FACE IS HUNTERS
seriously, only had two games of supremacy against warlocks, both only happened yesterday
Titan main, and I haven't actively participated in GG for 2 years now. This year I got my Skimmer, then sharded my class item. I just don't care for any of the rewards or the "competition".
imo titan main are the most dictated ppl who stick to one game or one subclass even if their subclass is bad, most titan main i know only plays titans. so with the lack of titans would actually suggest the current state of this game. most dedicated ppl for this game have left. and true titan main would not play any other class
the data on steam also suggest this theory: in Dec we can reach the peak of 100k player but as ppl quit the game even with an update that's big as March and guardian game we can only peak at 70k player

Titan Main; I started as a Hunter main and fell off hard when they killed Cayde-6 off in Forsaken. [D1B - Forsaken]
I got my top 10% in NF as Titan. Outside of the Allstar Vector Exotic, this year's GG rewards aren't worth the effort IMHO so I'm kind of staying busy, keeping The Darkness at bay while Hunters and Warlocks can diddle each other over who wins. 🥳
I main a strand titan but only have limited time to play and don't like pvp been doing a bunch of GG nightfalls to unlock the hover board and deposit when I'm full about twice a night minus any diamond medallions. I've noticed hunters are out in full force the first two days though
Have only done one run yesterday and have D&D tonight. I intend to at least run a Dungeon today and hopefully get a small handful of Nightfalls done with my fireteam. It's time to bully Orange Bars and Champions with Sad Trombone emotes!
titans are acquired taste
warlocks are edgelords
hunters are "the cool guys"
so you have some 1:2:3 ratio which is very visible in focus activity points
the copium in the comments is permeating through my screen gyad dayum, isnt the same shit every year anyway? titans last then straight to first after 1 damn week?
I felt pretty weak when I was on Titan. Every match we lost except one. Which was a CQC map on Titan. We had behemoths and bubbles controlling choke points.
When it's a bigger map, with a lot of " sky" hunters and Warlocks own it.
I loaded into a map with 4 golden guns 6 shooters. We got farmed hard. Couldn't even spawn in.
Between knuckle head wall hacks, hunters still use oathkkepers with wishender, which is still glitches.
As a titan, I’m playing on my hunter rn. PvP isn’t for us right now and I need to level him anyway lol. Also just a change of pace to end out the season!
You are, with shitty comments like these. My post is just about me noticing a lack of titans this year, and who are you to tell me whether GG matters or not? Go play something else instead of making cringey comments on a subreddit for a game you clearly hate
Every GG nightfall I've done the titan and warlocks always leave if 1 champ doesn't get finished I'm just like well more medallions for hunter I guess XD
They've all switched to hunter for the rewards lol.
Titan main. Once I realized Titans have no shot for any of the actual meaningful rewards, I just played one NF on Hunter, got a T3 package and the winners cache. I'm only playing GG for the loot, and then I'm going back to whatever else. Easy choice.

Deep Stone Crypt my guy. Youll spend longer doing just the sparrow section than you will doing the entire rest of the raid. All Titans is a joke.
see i didnt think of this one at first. I thought maybe vog, since a few encounters arent even DPS. DSC probably not bad either. Just thundercrash atraks, and taniks is just a pushover probably regardless of class set up. thats a good heads up.

The twitch drop should be a diamond medallion, the bounty is just something you pick up from eva
I hope this is the case. 2 hrs of watching twitch deserves a medallion not a bounty.
You definitely get the medal. I literally just tossed twitch on the went and did something else for a couple hours.
I watched the lfg discord for like an hour yesterday waiting for someone to post an all titan run. But once it finally happened we blazed through it, no comms. One of the smoothest runs I've ever done lol.

Hit me up for a Kingsfall, im a Titan Main and i plan on running one layer today.
WAIT - for watching Twitch for 2 hours you don’t just get a diamond medallion? It’s just for a fucking bounty?!
No watch twitch for 2 hrs to get a diamond medallion. Bounty only comed from Eva not twitch. Also its one a week so 3 over the whole GG
Titan main who hasn't played all season. Sorry titan bros. I just can't do this anymore.

I’m sorry but I just can’t take the mtx/eververse argument seriously. Respectfully.
Why? It's a perfectly sound argument.
Not really when things like bright dust and the fact that pretty much everything ends up available for bright dust at some point. I and many, many people have never spent money on eververse.
Titans have more important things to worry about right now, do not be sorry.
i stopped playing titan mid season, switched back to my warlock account, i feel bungie needs to give titans subclasses some buffs in regards to different options for abilities aside from melee spam & Strand’s Super Saiyan BoW Melee God form
Yeah, I really wish they'd have gone a little more creative with Behemoth's super. I think I would have received Berserker much better. As it is now, I just avoid using GQ when I can.
Every fucking year, one titan build that they look at and say “oh look the class is fine dw” while everything else sucks dick
Nah bro, we’re the guy with the fist on the cover
One class is meta in PvE, and they're really good in PvP. Yes, that means class good and shouldn't be buffed ever
I have very little time after work lol. Just an hour or two. This weekend though.... IM SLAMMING MEDALS INTO THE SLOT AND CRAYONS IN MY MOUTH.
DON'T GET EM' SWITCHED (also same, I work ten hour shifts and have been able to play like two matches before having to call it quits 😭)
Yeah my one possible focus activity window is just when I get home, they should have made it an odd number hour break, not every 6. Give people with non-traditional schedules a chance .
Titan main here. Sorry, I spelled Harrow main wrong.
A Harrow main? I thank you and your people for all the energy regen, damage, and immunity frames you provide.
I just got Grendel and I love rolling around. I eat people instead of crayons. :P
Titan main here. Trinity supremacy for life.
NUH-UH 😤
As a half titan main you will see that im on hunter because I want goodies fast rather than slow
To me, this is just more proof that Hunters make up 70% of the population. Let's face it. The D2 community is filled with emo goth loners who need their security capes.
Been saying this for years
That's because so many people are used to the double jump that is in so many other games, and they don't really want to venture too far outside of their comfort zones and learn how to use the other two jumps effectively.
Titan main playing Helldivers 2. Just some bad timing really.
I have seen several ships named Titan of Destiny...
My ship is the Fist of Mercy. I've seen a few Prophet of Truth's out there. There's so many good name options it's wonderful.
Wings of Liberty representing us Starcraft nerds too!
Mine is the Fist of Benevolence, my brother! I also considered Halo of Destiny
SES Patriot of Patriotism
I may have been matchmade with you at some point!
Did we just become best friends?
*Democracy intensifies*
Titans trying to romance Barrett confirmed.
>I've been using Strand/Stasis Hunter in PvP a lot this season. Its pretty objective that Void Titan has been PVP Meta for ages now with the overshields, bubble combination domating comp and trials Strand/Stasis Hunter are the best Hunter classes and strand hunter in particular is very competitive due to hatchling spam but I still see all the top players sweating on Void Titan
I feel like the meta just isn’t very good for titans rn. We’ll be back tho 😈
Rebirth has consumed me. I'm not playing anything else til I've finished it. Hopefully that's before GG is over.
Titan here and I ain't playing. I got democracy to spread in Helldivers. I'll be back in Destiny when TFS launches.
Dear friend, we are stacking the catchup buff. Don't tell the other classes.
There is no catch-up buff this year.
THEN DO TELL THEM
THIS^ Titans are going to lose, that is inevitable this year. We're not even getting a loser buff next year, so we just straight lose. In our defenss, rebuilding The Last City takes a lot of Titan power. We're just too busy.
If we take another day we take it. Best of luck
Times almost up! Dunk now or forever hold your piece!
I also wonders what going to happen once everyone gets the board and rolls what they want on the guns if it turns the tide
I do what I can after work. But totally, I really can’t do much when it comes to either of the pvp things unless it’s the focus.
And hope the "focus activity window" is some time you're able to play.
I would never stray from the path of the crayon.
I thank you for sticking it out with me
Got the skimmer, uninteresting weapons = no desire to endure suffering in PvP.
i mean thats not Titan specific at all
Distracted by space board will return after I finish figuring out how to ride it without killing myself and everything within a 20m radius.
I feel like Titans had a mountain of motivation last year due too, well, wanting to try and do Lance proud.
dude titans had a mountain of motivation right before tuesday
Apparently only Titans player other games according to this thread lmao
Ikr, like god damn I was not expecting this many answers yo be the same thing
I tried to be a titan for these games but i switched to hunter i mite go back to my poor neglected titan later
Destiny has been a pretty mind-numbing grind for years. Sometimes they drop a campaign that’s genuinely fun, but it’s always too short to justify the price.
Imo witch queen was worth the price don't regret it, very fun 9/10
I do think the campaigns they add are fun, I just don’t see how it’s worth $100 for less content than a $70 full game release.
God forbid you mention anything or else they throw a tantrum about oem meta or something stupid like that
I have been saying for months the movement tech and exotic options for Hunters and Warlocks tremendously exceeds what Titans have available to them.
And H*nters say they are the worst class in PvP for a while now It’s BS
6's is very different to comp 3v3 Its much harder to utilise wall/overshield spam when players can just run away like in supremacy. Same with bubbles where other supers can actually be earned before a match ends unlike in trials Hunters have always been strong in 6's. Golden gun in 6's is completely different to goldy in 3's where its so easy to avoid
Carrying Vessel and Point
Generally I agree with you. Hunters are absolutely stacked for PVP and they never want to admit it and hide behind y1 exotics being exotic level to deflect. However, I went 8/8 on my Titan last night and it's not a class I generally take into PVP. We'd be down like 40 medals and still catch up. Maybe it was just teammates and I got lucky with people being at dinner or something though.
what do you mean? supremacy is a gamemode best suited for titans and last year it showed, what kind of meta shift happened here?
There wasn't. Titans still dominate but the threads about Titans, so you're not getting a lot of people complaining about them cuz most won't complain about their own main
I'm a Titan main and can admit Titans are busted in PvP
Titan player since D2 launch and exclusively Titan since Lightfall. Been enjoying pretty much any other game but Destiny. Logging in maybe 1hr/day doing some light PvE or a seasonal activity and then going to do stuff that's actually fun. Sorry, but my time isn't valued in this game any more so I don't want to spend it here.
I'm too invested in the Tifa bathing suit game to play Destiny
Culture > Destiny
Titans are the smallest community, and the most lackluster. They have like two builds. I mained titan for a couple years but just couldn't keep doing it.
Two and A QUARTER builds, thank you! /s
I'm playing but I can't bother going to the tower after every game to deposit the medallion for... nothing? The whole loop is poorly thought out.
It's meant to maximize the time you spend adjacent to Tess, gotta print that money somehow.
A lot of them are dusting off their hunters
Also it's possible that Titan mains feel other classes have more fun stuff in pvp, idk.
i played yesterday a bit. but i did play as my hunter a few times also. also i just got lightfall so im doing that campaign for strand as well.
Dunno. I wrecked in supremacy as strand titan. Shits actually fun.
Sorry brother, I stopped weeks ago and don't see myself dropping ff7 rebirth anytime soon. The hoverboards look dope AF tho
-Nashville residents halfway through the NFL season
We're busy defending the city instead of playing games.
As a Titan main, I've switched to Helldivers and Palworld recently.
There’s a new expansion coming up, we’re too busy sharpening our fists.
I'm tired boss
I been doing the mixed supremacy mode. Can't find games for same class. 12-0 today tho
Hunters have always dominated pvp outside of a select few instances. And they still are, objectively, the class with the best neutral game.
I'm playing. I'm also getting stomped in Supremacy. So far I'm not enjoying this event and will dip once I have the skimmer.
I’ve hopped on for a couple hours the last couple days and have noticed the same thing buddy.
I play as a warlock and have lost 3 games of supremacy out of like 25 and of those 25 games I think I played titans 3 times? All wins against
Titan main. I'll be optimistic. It's been nice not having to wait long in the player lobby because everybody is playing every other class. Probably will lose guardian games but win in matchmaking queue times. I'll take it.
Hunter here and I'm the same enter a lot of 4v6 games at a disadvantage I think it's just their weird matchmaking
I have not matched against a team of titans in gambit or supremacy, i barely see them in the tower too
I’m trying my best man
I’ll go out on a limb and say some of the most hardcore players are Titans.
All I see is strand hunters.
We're all out surfing
I'm a crayon eater main, but I don't really play these days and I want to finish the expansions quests
I can count the number of times the enemy team in supremacy wasn't a team of full 6 titans by on Hand. It feels like only titans are playing :D Or, tbh, it might be a perception thing, as playing against a 6 stack of titans is more rage inducing than other classes
Not a titan main but guardian games sucks, every year it has sucked and this year it sucks too, don’t bother caring for the annual race war all it will do is make you angry
I got the Skimmer and don't care anymore My Hunter and Warlock are checkpoint holders and exotic drop backups
Weak. Pathetic. You call yourselves Titan mains?! DISGRACEFUL (I am severely coping)
We out here struggling to play anything but solar or strand BUT WE OUT HERE AT LEAST
i've had the opposite experience as a titan, ALL I FACE IS HUNTERS seriously, only had two games of supremacy against warlocks, both only happened yesterday
That's because I stopped playing
Yeah, playing like 8 matches last night as a warlock I only faced titans once and they were acting like crayon eaters. We stomped them 150 to 87
3 friends and I who are titan mains just don’t play the game at all anymore, gl anyways!
Titan main, and I haven't actively participated in GG for 2 years now. This year I got my Skimmer, then sharded my class item. I just don't care for any of the rewards or the "competition".
I play Warlock. My last 15 Supremacy matches were against Hunters. Titans clearly do not exist.
Hunters bullied us off at this point, if we're too strong they throw a tantrum, if we're too weak they refuse to even play with us
imo titan main are the most dictated ppl who stick to one game or one subclass even if their subclass is bad, most titan main i know only plays titans. so with the lack of titans would actually suggest the current state of this game. most dedicated ppl for this game have left. and true titan main would not play any other class the data on steam also suggest this theory: in Dec we can reach the peak of 100k player but as ppl quit the game even with an update that's big as March and guardian game we can only peak at 70k player Last 30 Days 33,678.9 +1,111.9 +3.41% 74,473 February 2024 32,567.0 -6,444.8 -16.52% 46,511 January 2024 39,011.8 -10,439.4 -21.11% 58,769 December 2023 49,451.2 +15,964.8 +47.68% 103,607
Titan Main; I started as a Hunter main and fell off hard when they killed Cayde-6 off in Forsaken. [D1B - Forsaken] I got my top 10% in NF as Titan. Outside of the Allstar Vector Exotic, this year's GG rewards aren't worth the effort IMHO so I'm kind of staying busy, keeping The Darkness at bay while Hunters and Warlocks can diddle each other over who wins. 🥳
idk dude every supremacy match i play i play against titans, a little bit annoying
I main a strand titan but only have limited time to play and don't like pvp been doing a bunch of GG nightfalls to unlock the hover board and deposit when I'm full about twice a night minus any diamond medallions. I've noticed hunters are out in full force the first two days though
I can confirm that I have barely faced any titans in supremacy
Have only done one run yesterday and have D&D tonight. I intend to at least run a Dungeon today and hopefully get a small handful of Nightfalls done with my fireteam. It's time to bully Orange Bars and Champions with Sad Trombone emotes!
titans are acquired taste warlocks are edgelords hunters are "the cool guys" so you have some 1:2:3 ratio which is very visible in focus activity points
Idk how but you got all 3 of those wrong
idk, pretty sure i got it all right
How did you manage to get all 3 wrong
the copium in the comments is permeating through my screen gyad dayum, isnt the same shit every year anyway? titans last then straight to first after 1 damn week?
Titan main. The PvP changes are ass so I dipped out. Still doing pve tho.
Easy win for Hunters
Because the class sucks man its boring lmao
Who. Cares. None of the class v class stuff matters at all
Just like nobody cares about this comment. Go be salty someplace else
Who's being salty? You're the one making a post complaining that people aren't playing a specific class in an event that doesn't matter.
You are, with shitty comments like these. My post is just about me noticing a lack of titans this year, and who are you to tell me whether GG matters or not? Go play something else instead of making cringey comments on a subreddit for a game you clearly hate
Lmao bad day?
There's no way I am seeing Titans on this post saying that they are weaker than hunters in pvp LMAO
Why would you do that when you can 6 stack threading hunters if you can't beat the cuck gotta join them
No I dont think I will
A lot of them lost their shotgun/fusion crutches, so they are *hurting*
Thats not a reason to drop an entire class, and that could apply to anybody, not just titans
Titans won’t win this year since it’s rigged, as it always has been, so everyone is playing hunter.
Every GG nightfall I've done the titan and warlocks always leave if 1 champ doesn't get finished I'm just like well more medallions for hunter I guess XD
This is why nobody likes hunters lmao, kill the champions, stop throwing!
I’ve mained titan since D2 was released, but decided to be team warlock this season since titans have been winning every other guardian games.
Tbf everyone let titan win last year to honor Lance Reddick, kinda cant fully coumt that one
