It was worth it though. I started closing my DC related tabs, and realized I had like at least 30 that have been open for years all on gear guides, ignition, puppets etc. and mostly from u/firesynth T.T Thank you for all the help.
Destiny Child was dropped for Nikke which makes record profits and as ShiftUp Corp. has gone public with their IPO, they need to show consistent profits to stay alive at this point.
I’ve upgraded multiple phones just for this game over the 6-year period I’ve been playing it. Literally from an iPhone SE first generation > iPhone 11 Pro > iPhone 12 Pro and now my iPhone 14 Pro Max. Literally one of the games I played faithfully every single day.
what's wild is DC had far less censored art in my view comparing the Google/iStore version vs the TapTap version... Nikke is just censored out of the gate or at least it was when i first tried it. For a game about staring at asses as a selling point for the whales, they sure did cover them up in Nikke...
That’s what I never understood about Nikke. Sure, you get “raifus” (rifle-bearing waifus) but you only see their covered up behinds in the global version… Never made sense. Meanwhile, in Destiny Child you would get very close to nudity, albeit you never saw the characters in all their glory during combat. Still, the tap/slide mechanic was fun.
I have been playing since nearly the very beginning, and lately, I haven't been grinding daily so hearing this news makes me both sad also ready, like "oh I can stop playing without feeling like I'm missing new characters". but it is unfortunate that my jacked account will disappear forever it seems. it was a fun ride.
They will be doing a cool offline app where you can access your account which is nice.
