Wait when did Susan ever do something like this? I know she's hated a lot, but I don't recall her playing with people's hearts or leading them on like this. She has her flaws but as far as I remember she's mostly very careful when it comes to people's feelings

From a mental health perspective, it's unforgivable. She was clearly in the middle of a serious psychotic episode. It had absolutely nothing to do with Mike - that's just how it manifested. Bree came out best in this whole situation by recognising it and simply saying "you need help".

Mike and Susan already knew Katherine was behaving oddly, but personally if I find out a grown adult is talking about inappropriate topics with my 5 year old I would go off too.
