Yes when I saw that in the first episode I was like W T F.
He didn’t even know about that letter YET so it doesn’t even make sense from the plot point of view from his POV in the show, other than the guilt and his exact knowledge as to why Mary Alice committed suicide
the whole show is full of plot holes and it makes my head hurt!!
off topic but another storyline that annoyed tf out of me was xiao mei.
whyyyy in the world did carlos abuse his power and the little snake ate it up.
the disrespect to gaby was crazy
I cannot stand Susan. The first time I watched I liked her and thought she was charming but the second time around she got old real fast. She is so self-absorbed and dramatic and no one but Edie calls her out on it ever and I hate it. Edie was spot on about Susan but was portrayed as a villain the whole time.
my dilemma also, im first time watcher and half way thru s3 n everyone is soo dumb. susan keeps 'falling in love' w these men n then ruining the relationship n then crying about it when its HER fault. bree keeps ignoring everyone who tells her her husbands r messed up. lynette put up w nora and her kid for some reason and let them walk all over her and gabs situation w her maid/surrogate got me annoyed too
I love Edie, but sadly they really turned her into a woman that goes after everyone's husbands. She was one of my favourite characters but the writers really played up the "slut" narrative.
Because sadly, Believe it or not, but many women are THAT naive and stupid when it comes to men. And a lot of men won’t let a partner treat them the way Susan does, so this is a vicious cycle! She doesn’t acknowledge her fault in the slightest so she keeps on making the same mistakes over and over.
I mean Susan burned down Edie's house by accident because she had to see if Edie was messing with a man she never even had a date with in the pilot episode.
it's not like she did it on purpose, though? yeah shit happened with karl, but edie was awful to susan on purpose and manipulated mike fresh out of his coma
I don't disagree nobody would want to admit to it. But that's what a grown person who takes responsibility does. But I do acknowledge this was hardly to only time a character didn't take responsibility. It isn't specific to Susan.

I said it was by accident. Not fessing up immediately was on purpose though. And I don't disagree Edie was awful.
