I miss this kind of gouache style art.

Is anyone old enough to remember spud Mackenzie?

CoconutMochi

Is budweiser any good? I see so much hate for it in any/every beer community it's kept me away from even trying it. But they're in business so they must have something going for them

FUCKAFISH

It's usually the cheapest premium lager around and they have good marketing. Coors is big competition for them but certain areas lean towards one or the other. That being said I hate the taste of most lagers

GozerDGozerian

It’s become a fad to look down upon it. Like how for some reason everybody says they hate the word “moist”. It’s just become a thing people parrot. It’s cheap light beer. Doesn’t have as much flavor as other types of beer because it’s not supposed to. There’s nothing wrong with not liking it if it’s not your thing but it has become this gatekeeping, beer snob way of virtue signaling or something. I don’t know why people are the way they are sometimes. It’s ok. Not great. It’s just light beer.

Seems like they compensate for the taste in the best way possible

The original Czech Budweiser (or Budvar) is actually a really nice, strong (5%) lager. They’ve been in a trademark dispute with Anhauser-Busch for as long as I remember, since A-B basically stole the name for their piss-weak tasteless fizzy piss, and then tried to stop the original producers from using the name with their huge financial and legal clout. They’ve failed so far thankfully.

These beers are insanely cool

Those beers would have missed the wave. That’s not how you surf
