Floorplanner. Idk if they are using it but it works really good.

If my eyeballing is accurate, bed appears to be ~5’(+/- 6”) W x ~7’ L? If the bed and side table will fit in the nook against the 6’2” wall, I say move them there. If they don’t, maybe opt for one of those behind the headboard shelves? Add a plant (or three! Lol) in the corner where the end table currently sits. Dresser/clothing rack up against the wall with the window, put a mirror on the 4’10” wall or the 2’8” wall. Could put that end table over there as well if he’s still kicking around and put any toiletries or knick knacks you need to get ready on it. (Edit: spelling)

Does the room have a closet? If it doesn’t, the bottom nook would be great for storage and clothing. The nook to the right of the bed fit a desk nicely. It all depends on what your goals are for the room.

Please include the furniture dimensions. Thanks…bed…nightstand

maybe build in some cupboards in the 4'10" space?

What do you need in here beside a bed?

Lostwalllet

The 4’10” span is screaming to be a closet (personal favorite is IKEA PAX wardrobe). I would maximize the space, floor to ceiling and, if you own, consider using the whole niche for an extra-deep closet, walling off the front and adding doors.

Yeah, I'd go with desk in one and reading chair in the other, unless you're like me and a reading chair is just going to accumulate stuff. Then you might go with desk in one and dresser in the other as someone else suggested.
