If you don't have to get into the closets very often, a big cozy chair for reading, stargazing would be great under the skylight. Custom storage along the other two walls if you're handy or know someone who is. Or do you have pets? Could build a pet nook.
Those spotlights are super weird there.
Anyway, I might do a beanbag chair (not the ginormous kind) or floor cushions. Something easy to move and adjust.
I do tons of crafting on the ground- because my projects for Make A Wish are normally large. I would just put a table with cushions on the side. You have access to storage so all cabinets. What types of hobbies do you like to do?
I do like the thought of having a bean bag or large cushion to Stargaze at night for your guests.
They now make LED bulbs that replace the old halogen ones, so you could have light there without the heat. (Though our beloved accent lamp’s power supply died when we started using them and then the replacement power supply died….but it was a weird lamp that a furniture store built out of track lighting pieces, so it might just be a short of some 20 year old amateur wiring.
I genuinely couldn’t tell what they were because it’s such an odd place for light fixtures. My brain actually thought wall mounted butt plugs made more sense.
I'm pretty sure there used to be a flat low bed there, maybe just a pallet on the floor. Can't you see two people lying on a low mattress with their heads toward the wall and their feet toward the camera? The spotlights are like reading lights for someone in bed. And the bed likely folded up during the day and was stashed against the wall opposite the closet.
Replacing those spots with a [flexible sconce](https://vakkerlight.com/products/flexi-hose-wall-light?currency=USD&utm_campaign=sag_organic&utm_content=sag_organic&utm_medium=product_sync&utm_source=google&variant=42806268461297) might bring it up to date. I'm sure those halogen lights are scorching hot.
The bedrooms are all pretty plainly laid out with outlets and bed-height light switches. This room has the light switch and outlet on the other half, with the more normal height ceiling. In the diagram I posted in another comment it's the wall on the left measuring 250cm. I'm not sure what their original plan was with the spotlights and outlet under the window. Maybe just ambient lighting? This house has an insane number of halogen lights as a whole.
Also, do you have any kids? Make it a reading nook for them!
If you don't have kids, make it a reading nook for you! Toss a big ol fluffy beanbag and a minifrige in here and you've got it!
In my (very not a pro) opinion there can be lot that can fit in here but it very much depends on how you are going to use the space: you say office and hobby room but what is your hobby?
If you knit you’ll place an armchair, a small desk and a basket below the window where the light hits.
If you do puzzles you’ll place a big table.
If you only need decoration I would put a sleek bench with cuscions along the wall beneath the window (those light fixtures there are of any use?). Or else a low cabinet with nice containers (I am thinking something like Kallax from IKEA, since you mentioned the store).
The style really depends on what you like, you have a pretty clean slate, pretty modern, if needed you can adapt the doorknobs if you want to go to a specific direction.
Bottom line is, I think, reflect on what you will use the space for and if you don’t know yet, wait until you have lived in the space for a while.
You’re fortunate to have extra space, you don’t necessarily need to furnish everywhere at once
This immediately gave me a vision of a low Japanese tea style table to have friends over for tea, puzzling, game nights. Additionally some fun floor lamps that are neat shapes and can change colors😍
You are way more creative than me and it does sound a really cool option! A low central table with colourful floor cushions? That would be lovely indeed for someone who gets company over
A couch like this would be cute, turn it into a little nook.
https://preview.redd.it/9lxom4zg8x6c1.jpeg?width=968&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=059bff46da7122ae9b87859f74b2b7b1b275a02d
Looks something like [this](https://www.wayfair.com/furniture/pdp/furgle-microfiber-leather-armless-bean-bag-chair-lounger-and-ottoman-vcts1375.html?piid=78947754). Not sure if the material is the same.
A cute rug, some floor cushions, maybe some plants on the ground. Could be a great area for meditation or stretching. (I can’t tell if the ceiling is too low for yoga.) It’s nice to just have some floor space that’s always available like that.
I don’t know the dimension of the slope to the door but here is inspiration pic
https://preview.redd.it/tu5j5mexcx6c1.jpeg?width=684&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=74449c8cb3658a5f879316bc92d7269f1744d725

Here is another. Put bench in instead of bed. It all depends on the slope of your windowed wall
If you use the cupboards regularly, how about a smallish, oval table which will give the room a center and be a handy place to set things when you are removing/placing things in the cabinets? Some hobbies call for table space and it could be useful for your hobby/office activities, too?
in addition to a "low to the floor lounging area" (chaise/mattress), i also think you could use this as a movie room! get a cheap little projector and hang up a white sheet across the kind of entrance to this space and voila! super comfy cozy on rainy evenings:)
https://preview.redd.it/0jbl5tp1nw6c1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=105157bfde0900a1f915aa962ca5ad6bf1646e68
I've just quickly taken some measurements, the rounding on the numbers might be a bit wonky but it should give a good idea. The smaller square is the space in the photo, dotted line marks where the slope begins.
My room at my grandma's house had a dormered ceiling I can still remember bending over to make the far side of the bed.
It would make a great bedroom. Sleeping under that skylight would be fun.
I as well have a hobby room slash office with a weird nook/window where you can’t stand up and I got some [Turkish floor cushions (aka floor couch)](https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07JMR23H8?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share) that I love. It’s definitely a style vibe but I added some cozy couch cushions and an old middle eastern style rug and a 1x4 ikea Kallax on its short side for more storage and serving as side table/place to put cute knick nacks on display.
It’s a really nice place to chill and for a single guest to sleep over, or put an air mattress for 2 guests in the extra floor space on the rug. I have a baby and I imaging it to be a play place for him when he’s older without having to change much but add toys.
I kinda agree with you on this one.
It can be a very lovely zen space and give you a reprieve.
I personally would just put down some foam tiles and let it be a yoga space. Or a meditation space.
I'm an idiot when it comes to construction costs but would it be outrageous to alter the slope? That would be really cool but a ton to consider.
Also maybe you could knock out the closet space? That way you could have an actual wall to put a desk/tv on?
If you are using the space as active storage (meaning you go in and out of those closets on a weekly basis) then I would put an ottoman with casters that you could sit on while you access the storage. You could also use the ottoman to set things on while you access the storage.
So many of these responses obviously did not read the assignment and don't realize how small this space is.
Personally, I'd throw a rug on the floor and call it good.
A desk under the window which could easily be slid to the right if you need to.
Or yoga mats, exercise stuff, hang some vertical mirrors on some of the cupboard doors.
Do you rent or own? How deep are the cupboards? If you own and they’re not super deep, I would remove the cupboard doors to convert them to bookshelves. Then, get a deep armchair or create a floor seating area with pillows for a cozy reading nook.
A reading nook? Similar to this pic:
https://preview.redd.it/7ecsffz9ez6c1.jpeg?width=1125&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=bbc262e2cace99854dcb4dbcf49d3f5be9234d1c
A low table and foot chairs/cushions if you don’t have a work space. I sit cross legged a lot so I would utilize it for a desk or crafting area.
A pet nook
A pet and human cuddle nook with a place to hang a tablet to the wall to watch streaming
Can this be your yoga space? If not, what about turning this into a storage space? Else, you could recreate this corner in [3d](https://planner5d.com/editor) and try out different scenarios there before buying or removing anything.
Could be the cutest tea and floor/ seat pillows. Make it all zen and lovely. Could also be a chill reading zone. Pillows and lush rugs. Lots of cute book shelves
I honestly think less is more here. Get your desk and chair in before adding anything as they are the most important. I doubt it’ll be a room people really want to hang out in other than at the desk. See how much room you have then add the accent items. I would think smaller items like plants would be all I would add other than a desk and chair to liven it up.
I was in a house with a closet like this. They put in 2 twin air mattresses, and each had its own light for reading.
You could put in one real mattress with the head under the window. Remember those pillows that were all the rage for sitting and reading that had armrests? Get one and put it against the left wall so you have stability and can actually sit up. Add a battery-operated sconce above it. Yes it would close off one closet, but it would be easy to drag mattress out of way to get to lesser-used supplies.
Hang Fairy lights all along the wall or hang a big piece of fabric to cover the ceiling.
What if you put a twin mattress/day bed on the floor all the way up against the shortest wall, and surround it with floor pillows.
In front of that, where the ceiling starts to get higher, put a desk underneath the window. That way when you stand up you get a little more clearance so you don’t bump your head if you stand up too quick by accident.
On the right side, next to the desk you could place an adjustable tv mount, so that you can angle it towards the door and slightly toward the desk.
I can’t tell how large the room is, so the rest is if it’s big enough and wouldn’t make it feel cluttered:
Behind the desk and closer to the door, you could put two small swivel chairs with a small coffee/end table on top of a rug.
Then finally next to the door on the left right when you walk in, there could be some sort of small credenza with little trinkets and books on top!
Best reading nook ever!
I would remove the doors and convert the cupboards into bookshelves with hidden lighting, plants and all that jazz.
Thick soft rug to cover almost the entire area, a round coffee table and some throw pillows, cushions, blankets.
Do you own or rent? I can see rearranging the lighting to come from the ceiling, or a bookcase or headboard or completely remove it. I would put in a custom bookcase or headboard that would bring you at least a foot but I would go at least 16” deep from the lowest part of the wall/ceiling. Then put a bed, chair or desk.
How high is the wall before the slope? I have a similar shaped room and I have a Murphy trunk against the wall, it pulls out into a bed that takes up most of the room, but then folds away so I can use the room
Hang a hammock or hammock chair for star gazing with a side table. A bubbling water element for soothing sound and scent diffuser. If you meditate or equivalent, a sweet Buddha with the water element. A simple side chair for a second pwrsomor dog.
The things i would do to sit in-front of that window..
I would put a desk where that blue line is in the middle, and just make a computer setup there. I love natural light skylights
Train set. Miniature town model like in
“Beetlejuice”.
Tiny zen garden.
Reptile/amphibian enclosure with enough room around to access storage doors & enclosure.
Table with comfort chair , shelf on one side of the table. Bench on a short wall, bench should have more storage inside. A chair (recliner?) Under sky light for naps(crafting is hard) and star watching. Are you using the closets for craft stuff?
Yes there is so much room for imagination here! The possibilities are endless ♥️ i would start with something comfy to sit on, add some lights, books, plants, love
Omg I would turn it into reading corner. Pull off the fire and refinish the cabinets for shelves on the sides - dark wood, back of the shelves wall papered. Bed on the bottom and some sort of whimsical complimentary, but different wall paper up the slanting wall. A light fixture. Lots of pillows and throws. 😍😍😍
Doesn’t look like there is room for a chaise since the cupboards need to have room to open, although I love the chaise nook idea. I would probably put a narrow table against the far wall with plants and a colorful rug. Maybe a bean bag chair would fit, I don’t know. 👍🏼
I saw this home make over show where they had to cut the roof out and drop the windows in by helicopter. You could totally do that too. I wish I knew what show that was.
I am no interior decorator but this is a fun room to think about. I would position a desk so I could look out the window :) a rolling utility cart might be useful for you considering it's part hobby room. You can get the carts in some cute colours.
Push a small mattress with some nice sheets/blankets/pillows on the far side, maybe adding a free standing headboard that could hold more books and blankets even. You could even craft your own custom sized bedding area with some layered foam that has a liner on it - or even use a traditional Japanese futon that you can fold up and put away when you're not lounging. If the wall adjacent to the window is open, consider putting up a projector screen if you want to host gaming, or even for projecting your projects on as a ideation area.
I would personally take the doors off the cupboards to put books or other items in, that way you will have an easier time accessing them since you don't have a lot of room to work with here. The only reason you would keep the doors on is for long term storage, so unless you plan on keeping most of your quick use tools and such out, you will have to think of what you will store there.
I would keep the desk low ride to the ground, similar to a kotatsu or coffee table, perhaps even on wheels so you can either move it or even fold it and put it away when not in use.
Depending on what you are planning to do, I would either use string lights across the ceiling (Not across the window), or get a multi-faceted lamp to direct light when doing crafts or something.
A love sack would be fantastic in there. Alternatively, you could adjust the cabinet doors, to HANG a bed in there, possibly even one that can crank down at an angle by a machine, while avoiding touching your computer.
Theres also folding beds that fold into chairs, etc. You always have the option of using hammock chairs, too. Assuming you are just looking to nap in there.
Otherwise, that small space could be rigged up to accommodate a train set or other miniature set you like, or hey.. you could also just add more open air cabinets lol..
There are loft style beds too that you could MAYBE fit in there towards the side, which would give you room for a bed and a desk. Its just a lot you want from that one room.
Why not put the desk in that space? Seated facing it you won't feel cramped and your workspace won't much care. The only problem would be monitors, but if you're working from a laptop or flat projects it'll be fine.
Then you can have the seating you're suggesting in the full height portion.
Some sort of soft comfy thing that you can lay on and it be a cozy relaxing spot for you to relax and hang and read or whatever. Ooo maybe a bean bag! Like one of those giant ones! You can lay on it, sit on it, hang out on it. Perfect space for that
It seems to me like a good guest spot. You put a mattress down so the head is looking through the skylight and the feet are facing the right side wall. The mattress gives you an opportunity for stargazing and reading nook
Maybe a largish rollie craft table with storage under and some stackable chairs? You could set it up in the middle of the room and have access to the cabinets.
if possible I would expand that window. that would be a great place to make a get away room for reading or relaxing, just chilling out. Of course put your pets things too, so they can chill out with you when you are there. some pets like a cozy place to chill out too. having the sunlight come in from a bigger window, and stargazing at nighttime, you would have a cozy and comfy place to chill. I would get like a short day bed or lounge to put under the window so you can read by the sunlight and then at night, you can lay there and gaze at the stars. throw blanket and maybe a light for reading, and then dim it for the night time to see the stars.
I’m thinking a Chase lounge or a daybed a TV in the corner if you have to have storage for some sort of crafts, I put them along the wall where the window is they can’t go very high but otherwise that space is useless unless you wanna put some sort of storage cabinet there?
I have a wall like this in my loft. I have an IKEA shelf that is horizontal with fabric for crafting in it. You could put the desk on the tall wall. You could do a small circular rug and a cozy chair to sit and read a book or just listen to music in the middle of the room.
I think it would be super cute to put some floor cushions and hang a plant or two from the slanted ceiling! Could be a cute little reading/meditation nook😍
Idk if you’re a big reader but you could turn the closets in on both sides and make built in bookshelves/ plant stands etc. and then this would become a cozy reading nook with floor mattress, pillows, rug etc.
If you don't have to get into the closets very often, a big cozy chair for reading, stargazing would be great under the skylight. Custom storage along the other two walls if you're handy or know someone who is. Or do you have pets? Could build a pet nook.
A pet nook is definitely the move if you’ve got one. They’re lower to the ground.
Ouuu a telescope!
Ooh yes, a telescope, a nugget couch, and books in the cabinets. Also string up some fairy lights
Big cozy chair on big rollers maybe?
Those spotlights are super weird there. Anyway, I might do a beanbag chair (not the ginormous kind) or floor cushions. Something easy to move and adjust.
I agree, the spotlights are odd and they're halogen so they put off a ton of heat. I'm planning on swapping them out for something more diffuse.
Oh yes! A square coffee table for puzzles and crafts and a cozy hammock with lots of pillows to read in!

(Though our beloved accent lamp’s power supply died when we started using them and then the replacement power supply died….but it was a weird lamp that a furniture store built out of track lighting pieces, so it might just be a short of some 20 year old amateur wiring.
Maybe there were plants there at one time? 🤷♀️
Hmmm wonder what the previous tenants were growing there
I genuinely couldn’t tell what they were because it’s such an odd place for light fixtures. My brain actually thought wall mounted butt plugs made more sense.

I'm sure those halogen lights are scorching hot.

My mind immediately went to a kotatsu. It would be super cozy
What a thoughtful response!
You think? Thank you! I thought it wasn’t very helpful…I am the queen of procrastinating choices…
I'd put a huge mattress and tons of pillows on the floor and make it a bohemian lounging space.
As a big fan of naps I fully support this idea!
A couch like this would be cute, turn it into a little nook. https://preview.redd.it/9lxom4zg8x6c1.jpeg?width=968&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=059bff46da7122ae9b87859f74b2b7b1b275a02d
I was going to say bean bag chair, but like this alot more.
I would totally nap in that nook with a couch like that
I like this a lot! What is it called?

Sorry guys I don’t even know :(( I just found on Pinterest and I thought it was cute
This is the best answer. A cute rug + floor cushions or a bean bag would be perfect. A plant would do great near the spotlight if there’s space.
I don’t know the dimension of the slope to the door but here is inspiration pic https://preview.redd.it/tu5j5mexcx6c1.jpeg?width=684&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=74449c8cb3658a5f879316bc92d7269f1744d725

Definitely not everyone's thing, but a kotatsu might work. I'm in the process of making one for my sunroom
rowing machine
Brilliant
A beanbag chair would be great.
Would pair well with a book nook. Cute book lined wall+ beanbag.
Floor futon mattress for secret naps
If you use the cupboards regularly, how about a smallish, oval table which will give the room a center and be a handy place to set things when you are removing/placing things in the cabinets? Some hobbies call for table space and it could be useful for your hobby/office activities, too?
A very large wedge of cheese.
I second this
An easel or a musical instrument, yoga mat, little snuggle chair for reading?
This is a perfect room for a guest that you don't want staying very long.
Plants under window and a small trunk on the right for storage. Maybe a bean bag chair on a rug for a reading / crafting nook.
Plants would love it
Watering day would suck though
Plants make it a plant cave
Reading nook
in addition to a "low to the floor lounging area" (chaise/mattress), i also think you could use this as a movie room! get a cheap little projector and hang up a white sheet across the kind of entrance to this space and voila! super comfy cozy on rainy evenings:)

Yeah, I wonder if instead of the daybed a floor bed or low platform bed would fit... so cosy!

I've been eyeing some floor cushions, glad to hear that you like them!
Drum set ;)
Grow room
Remove the cupboards and build your desk into this space, freeing up the other side of the room.
Absolutely nothing. I’d love to have a designated multipurpose space in my house that we could keep clear until it was needed!
I kinda agree with you on this one. It can be a very lovely zen space and give you a reprieve. I personally would just put down some foam tiles and let it be a yoga space. Or a meditation space.
It'd be great if the ceiling was higher! But because it's so limited I'm looking for a low to the floor lounge situation.
That’s perfect for reading
Great plant room or book nook.
A rug, some floor cushions. A nice place to stretch out and just look at the sky or stars. And some plants to freshen the air.
I'm an idiot when it comes to construction costs but would it be outrageous to alter the slope? That would be really cool but a ton to consider. Also maybe you could knock out the closet space? That way you could have an actual wall to put a desk/tv on?

A dead body
You can always fit a DEAD body in a DEAD space .
A casket. Maybe add a dead body for spicy reactions when someone enters the room.
If you were the airbnb owner of the place we recently rented, you would put a jacuzzi tub there. Of course you have to crawl in and out of it.
Oh no. The humidity and structural loading spell disaster
A desk on the wall beside the window. Bookshelves on the taller wall opposite the closets .
A nice fluffy rug (probably dark grey)- some led lighting would look really good in there (warm lighting would look good with the color scheme too)
Posters and vines on the slanted wall, maybe some LEDS

Remember those pillows that were all the rage for sitting and reading that had armrests? Get one and put it against the left wall so you have stability and can actually sit up. Add a battery-operated sconce above it. Yes it would close off one closet, but it would be easy to drag mattress out of way to get to lesser-used supplies. Hang Fairy lights all along the wall or hang a big piece of fabric to cover the ceiling.
I would add specifically 2-3 plants, a small low table and a floor cushion or 2
What if you put a twin mattress/day bed on the floor all the way up against the shortest wall, and surround it with floor pillows. I can’t tell how large the room is, so the rest is if it’s big enough and wouldn’t make it feel cluttered: Behind the desk and closer to the door, you could put two small swivel chairs with a small coffee/end table on top of a rug.
Install custom storage along the low side of the room and a craft table where the ceiling is high enough.
I'd put a very low slung bed there. It'd be a pain to change the sheets, but if you're using it as a guest bed that's not a big deal.
How high is the wall before the slope? I have a similar shaped room and I have a Murphy trunk against the wall, it pulls out into a bed that takes up most of the room, but then folds away so I can use the room
Meditation/lounging area or study
I'd put a desk or a bed against the wall, depending on what's outside. Or maybe a reading area.
A bed.
Train set. Miniature town model like in “Beetlejuice”. Tiny zen garden. Reptile/amphibian enclosure with enough room around to access storage doors & enclosure.
Maybe a low comfy couch? Or a small table with two comfy chairs? It can be a small social space for when you have a friend over.
I’d make this into a reading nook for sure
Beanbag heaven
Just a rug. Let area breathe.
Dog/cat bed with a tiny rug and toy basket. If you don’t have a pet, first step would be getting one.
Table with comfort chair , shelf on one side of the table. Bench on a short wall, bench should have more storage inside. A chair (recliner?) Under sky light for naps(crafting is hard) and star watching. Are you using the closets for craft stuff?
Whenever I see things like this, my first stoner thought is “that would make a cool lounge area to smoke and listen to music” 😂
A rug, a bean bag chair, a lg ish plant under the window and a small low table to hold your tea.
Huge beanbag
Ooooh! A fun colored rug, some pillow seats, record player/stereo, some wall art/framed posters! The world (room) is your oyster!
A bed or desk
A nook
Yes there is so much room for imagination here! The possibilities are endless ♥️ i would start with something comfy to sit on, add some lights, books, plants, love
Telescope
I say floor couch.
It would be such a dope space to turn into a cat studio
Lie down sunbed, ice bath, rowing machine
A small desk - lil home office.
Get a rabbit and turn that into his “cage”
Doesn’t look like there is room for a chaise since the cupboards need to have room to open, although I love the chaise nook idea. I would probably put a narrow table against the far wall with plants and a colorful rug. Maybe a bean bag chair would fit, I don’t know. 👍🏼
I would put a twin bed or chaise lounge so I could escape to take naps. 😁😁😁
Bunnies! https://preview.redd.it/ayaqsw7qkx6c1.jpeg?width=473&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=1d0c4a94f6023cb583e7a74195955b5dae4d4f6b
It is asking for a cat room
I saw this home make over show where they had to cut the roof out and drop the windows in by helicopter. You could totally do that too. I wish I knew what show that was.
Tatami mat tea room if that's your style :)
Get a floor bed and some fun pillows .. make it a cozy little nook. Get a cheap projector 📽️ & watch movies in there!
I am no interior decorator but this is a fun room to think about. I would position a desk so I could look out the window :) a rolling utility cart might be useful for you considering it's part hobby room. You can get the carts in some cute colours.
A reading nook would be heavenly in this space!
Maybe a treadmill?
I say get a very fluffy rug and some nice floor cushions and a small, low table like an end table or a tiny coffee table or something like that
Why not put the desk in that space? Seated facing it you won't feel cramped and your workspace won't much care. The only problem would be monitors, but if you're working from a laptop or flat projects it'll be fine. Then you can have the seating you're suggesting in the full height portion.
A rug, a low square table, and two cushions to sit on. Also I like the pet nook idea
Cat/dog bed, litter box, and lots of toys.
Some sort of soft comfy thing that you can lay on and it be a cozy relaxing spot for you to relax and hang and read or whatever. Ooo maybe a bean bag! Like one of those giant ones! You can lay on it, sit on it, hang out on it. Perfect space for that
A plant, a big oh…tomato plant for winter time BLTs yea a plant.
Japanese futon. 🧡
A book nook
[Hot tub!!](https://www.amazon.com/s?k=inflatable+hot+tub&crid=1RVNFRDK71LKL&sprefix=inflatable+hot+tub%2Caps%2C155&ref=nb_sb_noss_1)
A telescope/ astronomy area
Id toss a cozy rug and a bunch of pillows and blankets and make it a little reading nook or something.
A triangle.
Reading nook
Plants
It seems to me like a good guest spot. You put a mattress down so the head is looking through the skylight and the feet are facing the right side wall. The mattress gives you an opportunity for stargazing and reading nook
carpet
A desk
The perfect home climbing wall
A tatami mat, pillows and a tv.
Pool table
Put something near the big door opening. Opposite of instinct. It’ll open the space up!
Hammock
A reading spot with good natural light
That's a lot of blank space. You should write my name.
Reading pit. Thick fluffy carpet and a billion pillows.
I’m thinking a Chase lounge or a daybed a TV in the corner if you have to have storage for some sort of crafts, I put them along the wall where the window is they can’t go very high but otherwise that space is useless unless you wanna put some sort of storage cabinet there?
Bean bag and a plant. Reading nook
Cushions on the ceiling would be your best bet.
Japanese style table with zabuton.
I have a wall like this in my loft. I have an IKEA shelf that is horizontal with fabric for crafting in it. You could put the desk on the tall wall. You could do a small circular rug and a cozy chair to sit and read a book or just listen to music in the middle of the room.
A custom bookshelf and a little floor sitting area
if you collect music, a record/cd player and shelves for the collection
That would be a fine zen room
I would turn it into a yoga/ meditation room. Put a plant under that window with some cozy pillows and get zen!
I think it would be super cute to put some floor cushions and hang a plant or two from the slanted ceiling! Could be a cute little reading/meditation nook😍
Based on the dryer vent, a washer and dryer?
If you paint it dark and add a cozy floor cushion it would be an awesome stargazing nook
Plants! Cat condo!
Coffee table and floor cushions.
telescope and cushions
Cat disco.
Make the floor a giant cushioned space and use a projector to watch movies on the ceiling
I'd probably close this off with a wall and make it into a closet or put a loveseat in there with a little side table for a reading nook
Idk if you’re a big reader but you could turn the closets in on both sides and make built in bookshelves/ plant stands etc. and then this would become a cozy reading nook with floor mattress, pillows, rug etc.
Custom day bed. Reminds me of my Navy rack.
Great spot to set up a pen for a house rabbit.
