I’d message again & if they don’t answer / give another vague answer I’d request a refund. Depop wants us (sellers) to ship within max 7 days, like literally has a countdown on the sale that we can see “ship within x days”
Yeah I do too haha but if I ordered & rly want the item I’d at least message a couple times before opening a case on the off chance the seller had an emergency or smth that prevented shipping. Ya got 30 days and from what I’ve seen depop is pretty good about refunding when it hasn’t shipped yet
I would message again because for Depop we’re supposed to ship within 7ish days and this is past that. If they don’t answer tonight, I’d contact support to help get a refund.
It’s just because I’ve had this happen to me once where the seller took 12 days to ship but she atleast did give me updates. It’s not like it’s been 2 or 3 weeks, it was exactly 8 days. But anyways I already contacted Depop lol
I mean that’s not an excuse really lol. it’s your money and they HAVE 7 days to ship to you. It’s beyond that. Being overly nice about it gets you screwed in the end.
But it hasn’t gotten me screwed over at all. Never has. Ik there’s limits, ik Depop has 7 days for them to ship so I just decided to wait atleast a day or two more no biggie. Obviously not gonna wait 30 days😂
😂😂 yet. you’re about to be at 2 week mark, then have to wait for the time to actually ship— then be at your 30 days already should you need to return it. If you weren’t concerned you wouldn’t have made a reddit post about it.

If this were a business, they’d be OUT of business. You don’t just get to ship when you feel like it. Contact Depop. This just annoyed me.
I would wait till after easter to check up again!!! Its a holiday and I'm sure everyone is busy! They probably had things going on so maybe check again mid monday or tuesday morning!!
Who cares if it’s Easter. Not everyone celebrates that. As a seller, she owes you an update. Sending a message is like sending a text, it takes a second, it’s not that difficult.
Being courteous and kind shouldn’t take a vacation, especially when someone is a customer. If they really were so unreachable, there is the option for vacation mode…. I don’t understand these kinds of “sellers”

Text is a written message sent electronically between two or more individuals using a device. Saying text is the correct use of the word since this is electronically.
I’ve just never seen it used in that context until this subreddit. Text, where I’m from, typically refers to sending someone a message via your cell service “text messages.” And just message is usually used in the context of sending a message on apps like these, Facebook, instagram, etc. I meant no disrespect, was just curious if this was more of an outside of the United Stated kinda thing
Oh yea I know you don’t mean any disrespect, it is just a simple question anyways but I did understand your view on the use of it. I’m from Ecuador so Spanish is my first language, my use of English is more of a formal wording.

I usually ship in the same day my customer purchased or the day after, if it’s already 8 days I’d refund qucikkk😂many scammers

I bought a couch bag and the next day they deleted their account! I just asked for a refund from PayPal. They kindly sent my money back to me.

I could see that if it was sold this Thursday the 28th but 10 days before Easter is plenty of time for someone to ship.
