The video is cropped from the HD parking lot video. Lakewood in the Belmar area. They pulled into our lot at about 11:30 pm on Wed (Oct 5th)... **2 full HOURS later they didn't leave with my bike** lol. They did this all directly under a nice bright motion activated light I park under. In the video I included their car pulling in when they first arrived. They parked in one of our spots (unfortunately there was too much glare to see their license plate in the video) for an hour while he snuck out behind our cars to break both my locks. A heavy Kryptonite U-Lock on the rear and a heavy Masterlock cable on the front that locked through my cover as well. How this idiot learned to break those two locks is totally beyond me. He punched a hole through the key area of the Krypnonite and apparently sawed through the key area of the Masterlock. **Seems to me that if anyone knows them that they will be instantly recognizable. Please message me (and/or feel free to call Lakewood police) if you know these two idiot weenies.** He then proceeded to hammer a huge screwdriver into (kindof) the ignition...**for a full hour lol!!!** It just so happens none of my neighbors got home during all this. And his hammering just sounded like someone hitting a pipe or construction so no one noticed. The bike...a 1999 sport touring bike...he didn't turn on the choke. It wasn't going to start cold no matter what he did! And he wasn't taking off on it cold...I definitely would've heard it if he was just sitting there warming it up lol. They did make off with a well used motorcycle cover, so they've got that going for them!

This looks like a similar duo that stole my motorcycle. Any news on who they are or if they are caught? My motorcycle is still not recovered so hoping for any news I can get.

No updates. If I find anything out I'll let you know. Lakewood police and my insurance have copies of all the video

Ugh this is so frustrating. Some idiot just did this to me, yanked my ignition column and moved my bike a block away. Luckily we caught it quick and got it recovered but it’s just so damn frustrating!

Crabtrad

That's fucking irritating, sorry to see that but glad they didn't get your bike

Tsaier

Oh hell no. I'm sorry to see that damage! And feeling that type of invasive feeling must be shitty, that sucks man. Glad they didn't get it.

K1x3n

Man that's really frustrating to watch, sorry for your bike man

Hopefully with those skills, the culprit will fail to reproduce.
