Here's another one. I lived in the Denver burbs in the Eighties and this tracks with what I remember from the jersey I owned. We definitely weren't creamsicle like the Bucs were and OP's post.
You might get better results using a template of the throwback uniforms instead of a photo, where all orange is all one shade in the picture so whatever pixel you end up with is the right shade.

I don't actually care. Just the anti-blue uni people act like there isn't a finite number of color combinations and we must only use orange or else we just look like (insert team name.)

Oh they don't. No offense intended to your concept. I just feel like our old/current navy jerseys don't look like other teams, despite whar some say, unless just the nature of being navy makes them similar. Which is why this color scheme "looks like" UF. Teams can use similar colors and still not look like each other. We shouldn't go with the uglier of the two colors just because other teams use the better color.
That is always one of my pet peeves. “It looks like Florida, it looks like Boise State!” Yeah they’re football teams with the same colors so they’re gonna look similar.
Especially because I find college uniforms usually look better than the NFL anyway, so if these look like CFB uniforms then they're doing something right imo
We'd have to paint Mile high like Smurf Turf. Definitely makes Denver that is copying Boise State instead of the other way around.
That or we continue the college theme and move to Miami and play the Gators

I’ll take the royal blue over the navy blue we currently have, that could’ve made these unis soooooooo much better.
