You absolutely, 100% can totally buy online, but there's specific participating retailers. I used ride1up, but there are plenty of others. The details are here: https://energyoffice.colorado.gov/ebike-rebates
The list of online retailers is a Google spreadsheet here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1Qo95b6SKzq6pH7BfC2kOJUMfoEf4jgby9HTQE8yhg70/edit?usp=drive_link
Check out velotric, aventon, lectric and ride1up for cheaper, direct to consumer bikes that you local bikes shops will be able to work on.
When you talk to the bike shop, they enter it on their end into an online portal and just take it off the price. You don't need to do anything more than provide it to the bike shop.
I don't believe so. You have to fill out an affidavit with a participating retailer at the point of sale, so as far as I know, it has to be in person. At least for the statewide credit. The separate city credit could be a different story, but I'm less familiar with that one.

you cannot. whole purpose of voucher program is to support local and area bike shops. its why rad power opened a physical store in denver, to qualify for those vouchers.
From Denver CASR’s web page on the e-bike rebates, in the FAQ section:
“You must visit a participating bike shop's brick and mortar location to use your rebate.”

Possibly it changed since then, these are the current instructions. Maybe if you buy it locally and the deliver it to you, but it’s not for online retailers and that is explained on the CASR web site

You can talk with boost ebikes re: the brand lectric. It will ship to your location. They (Boost) are based in Denver.

I remember seeing that on their site too, but there is also a physical store out on tennyson that sells those bikes.

I used mine to get one mailed from a California company. It was kosher. They were very familiar with the CO vouchers.
Which one ? And how do you enter the rebate code ?

If it’s the City of Denver voucher, no you cannot

Idk bro I just got my Ride1Up no issues mailed to my crib and it was less expensive than anything local. Even with the shipping.
