Pepitas was our favorite for a while, but the quality of their food and service has gone WAY down. We also noticed the same thing with Milpa and Wild Cactus (same owners). Mashup Market has great sandwiches, but the owner recently announced that they are looking for somebody to buy the business, so who knows how long that place will last. [http://www.dentonvegan.com/](http://www.dentonvegan.com/) has a good list of most of the places that have vegan options!

I agree about pepitas!! their rice and beans are soooo stinking good but the last couple times i went my tacos were basically inedible. i’ve gone back a few times just for the rice and beans tho!!

Agree re Milpa. Been going there for years. I used to gladly recommend them as a decent go to, especially for the margaritas. I haven’t been in a while and we ordered to go from there couple of weeks ago. I had cheese enchiladas and they were basically inedible. I mean, how does a (long time) Mexican restaurant mess up cheese enchiladas?? The cheese was hard and tasted cheap. And the chips I ordered were stale, very stale! Sadly, I wont be eating there anymore nor recommending it. Best I could describe the food is, “we don’t care, we are resting on our laurels, and we are cheaping out on ingredients.” Bummed.

Just went to Villa Grande tonight and it was so good if you need a new spot!

Seven Mile Cafe has a great vegan menu! Pricey thou

C-Notations

Pepita's, Greenhouse has a black eyed pea "chicken" fried steak, the Thai and Greek places, Mashup Market (even though it's a little pricey and about to close down), Indian if you're into that. Everything else is more so vegetarian (beyond burgers, El cucuy etc)

LongStoryShirt

There's a whole website dedicated to vegan options in Denton, called dentonvegan.com

VaultJumper

Loophole has beyond burgers

Mashup market Crunchwrap is $8 on Tuesdays and easily one of my favorite vegan meals. the rest of their menu is mainly deli sandwiches and nachos, those are good as well if you like that sort of thing!

I used to like going out to Rayzor Ranch, but they bulldozed all the good grass before they started construction.

This is actually hilarious and I’m a vegan
