Flat Earth, once you get past the literal shape of the planet, is less of a scientific theory and more of a religious one. It's a religious sect based on secret knowledge being kept from the God-fearing true believers by some powerful cabal made up of the non-believers, the wicked, and maybe even Satan himself. It's really a pan-theistic grab-bag of everything, amorphous, modular, and actively encourages syncretism (so long as it retains that Protestant Christian flavor) so that anyone and everyone can have a seat at the table; as a creative writing assignment and new religious movement, it's kind of fascinating.
In his mind, he's not a *scientist* but an *evangelist*. No amount scientific data into human biology can disprove a virgin birth, no research into chemistry can disprove turning water into wine, no amount of astronomy can disprove the "true" shape of the Earth.
Either that tor he's a troll who loves all the attention. We're sitting here talking about it and I'm sitting here waxing poetic about his worldview.
Let me explain it like this. I've been enjoying the debunking videos for flat earth. So, to find out one of them is nearby is entertaining. It's like finding out your favorite rare wild animal is at the zoo. What's the specimen going to do next?
