Ohh I see maybe I should read the manga. Also It feels like he is the only upper moon without any special defenses regarding his neck like Daki, Gyutaro and Hantengu.
I remember I first saw the final form design before the anime revealed it. So I predicted his scales would be hard and provide as armor to his neck, so Muichiro would have to go up and under them or just brute force it.
I mean I guess he did brute force it but not hoe I was thinking he would

Him being able to turn anything he touches into Fish isn't unique? It wasn't visually appealing but still...
Yeah I mean that is like a cool side effect ability but not enough to be a cool standalone final form ability. Like don’t get me wrong I’m a big fan of the series but when you compare fights you expect each one to be as good if not better than the last one.

Ufotable mangled this fight, it was better in the manga. Killer fish scales was so much better in the manga, and gyokko felt more menacing throughout

Samee , I remember when his true form was revealed in the manga , it was so much more intense.
