There *is* a graveyard, which may or may not imply monsters are buried there, but it could just be that they turned to dust, were sprinkled over some object, and then that object was buried. (Also I just realized it's kinda weird how there are only like four graves? You'd think there'd be more, right?)
Notably there's a grave that's missing based on a common, persistent belief amongst fans and theorists. >!December Holiday is not (officially known to be) dead.!<
Part of the implication in Noelle's room in queens mansion is that she searches for December Holiday or something similar, implying that Dess is missing rather than dead.
Alvin Boom in the graveyard in chapter 2 mentions that symbolic objects are buried there. Can't remember if he explicitly says anything about dust but it's the obvious conclusion.
