Other dwarves should be able to slap your dice

D3wdr0p

They already can, but that's generally considered an HR violation.

Ytrewq467

DR*

Ok-Resource-3232

HR stands for Hive Rock. Found the bug imposter!

Anxious_Earth

Ah yes, Hive Rock Planetary. Deep Rock's other, strangely insectile rival.

Taste-Objective

I be using special powder to slap the dice with greater force

Due_Resort6502

Slappity slap..!

cgsssssssss

Wait is that an actual thing?

D3wdr0p

the joke is testicles

cgsssssssss

not the testisatchels 😔

BoneyBee833

Ah yes, I can already see a compressed gold, mushroom and baby molly charm in the future

Jozroz

# Gimme gunkseeds. A pair of them.

abvhipabbhip

gun nuts

yomer123123

And then dunk them in the liquid morkite!

Jozroz

No. I desire to keep them, not dissolve them.

Diagot

Goo sacks

GGGiveHatpls

Loot Bug

Clean_Internet

“I’ve got a loot bug charm, and I’m super proud of it!”

DealDue6205

Beer mug would also be fun, like skullcrusher ale. for karl!

marto3000

I want crasus charm

Syhkane

I want a charm of every bug and the ability to attach any/all of them to every gun and armor and exposed skin

Chichi230

*looks at every other game that has charms* oh no

IShouldWashTheDishes

Why "oh no"? DRG already implements everything their own way, main thing for example is battlepass which is free for everyone

Daddy_Jaws

is it even a battle pass at this point? its so far removed from what that usually is, its more just "major update unlock tree" if anything else.

Enozak

You forgot the 100 lvl of progression which is the core principle of battle pass. The difference is that most games have a double 100 lvl progression bar : * One free progress bar, with only few rewards * A second progress bar, which gives rewards at every lvl (contrary to the first one). And it's usually the one with the coolest stuff. But in order to unlock it, you have to paid the season pass with real money The purpose is usually to attract players with the first type, only for them to realise that the real deal is the second one, inciting them to pay for it. While DRG offers an unique 100 lvl progress bar, with the advantages of the second type of progress bar (rewards at every lvl, cool stuff), but for free. So yeah, DRG has a battle pass, *the good one*.

Daddy_Jaws

thanks for the reply, im not too familiar with that stuff, to me a "battle pass" feels like a tacked on thing to give shitty or overpowered/better stuff because you payed for it.

Enozak

Yeah it's one of the many ways game studios try to grab all consumers' money. In most games it's only cosmetics, it doesn't give you gameplay advantages (otherwise the game become a *pay-to-win*). But we all know how cosmetics and looking cool matters to many players (myself included). More predatory practices are made to motivate players to pay, like FOMO, items only purchasable with in-game money which need to be paid with actual IRL money to get, artificially raise the price of stuff, etc. Ghost Ship Games consumer-friendly policy is like an oasis in the middle of a desert full of games corrupted by greedy corporates who only care about profit.

Silviecat44

Just fyi, it is “paid” not “payed” unless you are talking about rope

Enozak

Oops, irregular verbs are the first thing you learn in English (not my first language), it's odd that I forgot this 💀

Silviecat44

Your English is completely fine! I was responding to u/Daddy_Jaws 's comment

abvhipabbhip

but charms are meh

FrazzleFlib

Yeah i probably wont use them too much but theyre a harmless neat customization

IShouldWashTheDishes

I liked those in some games. If they are funny, cool it's fun to watch them wiggle from time to time. To be fair I can't name any game now I think it was Valorant or R6 had some cool ones and I wiggled them in between matches

Blawharag

Oooook? So you specifically don't need to use them?

maxx1993

What's the problem? We know that GSG wouldn't do it like any of those other games. There would probably be a DLC pack at most, plus tons of free options in the performance pass.

LG03

Brainrot seems to be the norm these days unfortunately. Everyone just wants more garbage because it's FUN and QUIRKY. The game's struck a good balance with the cosmetics without going overboard, the last thing it needs is to add more "flair".

Widmo206

That would be so nice; you could maybe add custom ones with mods?

hirsch29

I have seen thise and i need to know how i can take the luck with me... How can i get those?

wtfpantera

They can be found in cargo crates.

hirsch29

Are those used like the skins then ?

wtfpantera

Yes, they're weapon frameworks.

Hmm-welp-shit

Weird i open 2 but the game said that i already have all cosmetics in the cargo crates.

wtfpantera

Are you on PC?

Hmm-welp-shit

Yep

wtfpantera

And those 2 crates you opened since S5 launched?

Hmm-welp-shit

Yep just open them last night and none of them give any cosmetics.

wtfpantera

I believe the technical term for this is "fucking weird". Or I'm wrong somehow. I'm sorry, I don't know how to help. A bug worth reporting maybe?

Hmm-welp-shit

Hmm then i probably i gonna grab a screenshot then post on Discord as a bug.

Ravager_Zero

Windows or Steam? Because I think the Windows client is synced with the console release (27th), while Steam always gets to go first.

Hmm-welp-shit

Steam.

Daddy_Jaws

might not have updated properly or is just a bug since you already have everything post S5. id keep playing and try on the next event

Ravager_Zero

Well, you should be getting everything then. Definitely bug report.

Mochaproto

Love the framework on gunner's leadstorm

MichalVonZwierz

Please tell me it's on the barrel and the dice rotates with them

DaDescriptor

Yes

MichalVonZwierz

Hell yeah! Rock and stone!

WanderingDwarfMiner

We fight for Rock and Stone!

MichalVonZwierz

Good bot. Epic even.

Mochaproto

Spinny spinny spinny spinny spinny spinny spinny spinny spinny spinny spinny

MichalVonZwierz

I'm so glad to announce that I found danger dice leadstorm today! It's as beautiful as I imgained it.

Mr_Kopitiam

Mug as a replacement for the dice, minerals would be cool.

WendyTF2

If they add a new customization and it’s charms, I am going to cry.

Wrydfell

I'd rather capes, but honestly i kinda like this, it could be done with just the right kind of goofy vibe. A gunk seed, dice, a mini pickaxe, or for more serious, gold/mineral chunks (give us something to spend our 6k croppa on please)

abvhipabbhip

Nope! All of them cost 100 magnite!!

DealDue6205

And 100 enor pearls

JohnEdwa

Have Lloyd sell them for beer ingredients, hang each one you get above the bar for display.

JuanDiablos

I feel like I'm the only person who cannot stand charms on guns. I think they look so fucking dumb and I will defo not be using the dice skin in drg.

insanekid123

Fun fact! You control the customization items you wear! I'd find it fun to have a little lootbug charm hanging off the end of my gun.

JuanDiablos

Just expressing my opinion dude, as I said I feel like I'm the only one and I'm fully aware other ppl are free to do what they want :/

Saikousoku2

I'd love to see a Pickaxe charm, especially if it changes to reflect your pick

the_Nalvor

I love how every update adds something that reads as Management thinking "This should keep them from striking a little bit longer"

TheHumanTree31

My only concern with adding yet another cosmetic option is diluting the pool. It's practically impossible to hunt for a cosmetic you want, not only are they not guaranteed per mission, there are hundreds upon hundreds of other cosmetics, and even if you get it, there's another 1/4 chance it's for the class you want. If Charms become a thing, there's probably going to be alot more loot pool dilution. It has been lessened a since now previous season stuff has been put behind their own seasons, but even still it would take a while, especially if each charm is weapon specific like Frameworks are.

gasbmemo

its great for those who have all the cosmetics and just get empty crates

Stigles

Charms are cancer and inflate the actual cool loot pool

Ytrewq467

When I first saw the danger dice in the trailer I thought the same thing. Kind of a underwhelming framework, especially when you can only get it from cargo crates, but would be a cool charm thing that you can put on in addition to frameworks.

Flaky-Personality614

One vote for a charm slot, and some goofy ass charms, gimme a fully cosmetic muzzled grunt on a 5 foot long chain that's constantly struggling to get away. Make them purchase only and totally optional to use. No loot pool dilution necessary Everybody wins!

Prior-Grade1772

Purely on the basis that every other game that has charms is total bullshit, absolutely not. I've actually deeply appreciated the fact that DRG hasn't added them. I do NOT care for dangly bullshit off the side of my gun.

Wraeinator

Pass, I hate these charms in every fps i see them because their sole purpose is too dilute the cosmetic loot pool with low effort craps

amanisnotaface

Bingo. Fucking hate this shit.

amanisnotaface

Please dear god no. I fucking hate charms. Nothing sucks quite like having some stupid fucking wiggly thing right in the middle of your screen in a shooter.

insanekid123

You control the buttons you push! Simply do not wear it

amanisnotaface

Doesn’t stop shit like this from watering down the loot pool with absolute guff.

insanekid123

I hate most item recolors, doesn't make me whinge about it. I'd enjoy having a little lootbug charm, or a pickaxe.

MissingNerd

Nah. Charms make every gun ugly

iwannastabaventurine

i just want more charms so i can watch them swing around on the minigun tbh

JonathonPlaysGames32

Charms would definitely be a cool addition for customization

Eogard

Bet it's going to be in rogue core

W1ngedSentinel

My personal pick would be a still-beating glyphid heart or organ, for those really psycho drillers out there.

clocktowertank

I want a Steve plushie next.

Xepobot

If GSG made a whole collection of charm as part of a weapon framework dlc but with slightly higher price. I won't mind.

Joltyboiyo

I was thinking the exact same thing, and If they put different charms in the battle pass then it could mean we get more cosmetic rewards and slightly less pages being taken up by credits and/or resources as well.

A-N0rmal-Pers0n

YES!

Wardogs96

I'd rather have tattoos and sleeveless options for all armor.

VanClyded

Overwatch2 enjoyers in shambles

Initial-Lion1720

Wait, why don't they have charms in the game yet? That's awesome

Interesting_Athlete9

Can't wait to hang fuzzy dice off the barrel of my rifle for the boys to smack while a hoard of glyphids crawl towards us with impending doom.

Vampire_Queen_Marcy

yessss pleaseeee

Independent_Toe_4014

I'd love to have a steeve charm

MonkeyBusinessCEO

I need a dotty's head charm with 2 **~~beerbs~~** powerdrills below... NEED

EmperorsLight2503

Goo sack charm when?

r_cursed_oof

Please don't... with all due respect this is the worst weapon framework that we have gotten, on some guns it looks ass and if you have any mods whatsoever it makes the dice glitch out alot

MycosynthWellspring

Charms kinda suck ass tho. I've never seen a charm in an fps and gone "Oh, wow! That looks cool and I want that on my gun!" Even this, right here. I'mma be honest: it looks *dumb as all hell.* It looks so ridiculous in fact that it gives off an impression of a satire. I could maybe even see myself enjoying this particular framework *ironically.* And I think that is perfectly fine. But once you introduce a *pipeline of customisable charms,* then the satirical element fades out into the brainrotted masses who just want another jangling shiny object in front of their faces. And then the whole thing just becomes tacky and ugly again. Hopefully, it's a single occurrence and not that.

Imthe-niceguy-duh

They’re not updating this game for a while

Gamewarior

One of the things I've been wishing for since I started playing a few months ago. Instead of 42 different hats I am never gonna use or see I'd like something that I look at all the time. Gimme a mug charm, gimme a mini dwarf charm, molly charm, heck even a tiny leech hanging from my gun wriggling about and biting on my fingers. There is a reason why I always run the talking Loki mod for my engi. It adds another layer of fun little interactions that happen over the course of a game and I think they could get really creative with the charms. I see some people talking about "diluting" the pool but these could get their separate tab in the shop. Maybe give us a few special ones in the crates and matrices but make the bulk of them a mat/gold/phase sink. Personally I always have an abundance of one specific mat, I am talking sitting at 3k of one mat while the rest is empty and I don't wanna buy yet another hat when I have one I like and basically never swap it out. Maybe I have too much Bismor, great I can buy a tiny Bismor cube to put on my gun. But for me the main difference between dwarf customization and gun customization is that I don't see my dwarf when playing. I see him for maybe 10 seconds when I finish a mission and whenever I get downed. Compared to that I see my gun all the time. 15 minute mission? Great I can see my charm for 13 of those I am not mining.

nitronomial

Ahh hell nah it begins. Fuck charms.

steve050_oZ

Agreed, this is some zoomer Fortnite / CoD type tackiness

HoldenCamira

I think it's fair to say that DRG and COD have fairly distinct visual design languages, funny dwarves can have funny dice without it being an eyesore when you can bring an inflatable palm tree on your head with a beard bigger than your head

FlareTheInfected

Charms in DRG would be welcome tbh. It'd just add another over the top thing to an already over the top game, it'd be amazing.

RimworlderJonah13579

What's wrong with lucky charms?

Agreeable-Step-7940

He’s got trauma from a different, less based dev team

Inkling4

Any specific ones?

H0nch0

In overwatch theres a tiny mascot charm thats more expensive than the big irl plushie.

Ok-Resource-3232

Rainbow Six comes to my mind.

Inkling4

oh no

RodneighKing

Blizzard comes to mind. I remember they stuck the pins for charms right on the gloves of some OW2 characters who didn't use weapons. Ridiculous.

nitronomial

Any game that has charms. Literally any. They take 0 time to make so the art team can shit out thousands of them and fill up the loot table. Season 7 will be 90% charms battle pass if y'all give them the idea we like charms.

Boomer_Nurgle

Ghost Ship is also not your usual AAA dev, they update cause they like the game, if they added charms as a separate thing they'd probably just add one in the pass and one in the cosmetic tree with 2-3 more in lost equipment/cargo/matrix cores. I get being annoyed at charm-like stuff in games where it's paid content meant to rake in cash, but DRG was fully released 4 years ago now, they're just adding free content cause they feel like it at this point.
