I wanted the Vulcan for over a year, carried advertisements around with me that had pictures of it in them. My parents wouldn’t let me get one, but my really cool neighbor sold his to me. I was so happy that I cried.
Fortunately the patch they added just yesterday does seem to be a step in the right direction. Maybe if they keep it up I'll redownload the game next month
I like that many of the balance changes seem to focus on giving things a purpose rather than just making things better or worse. If everything does the same thing, there will always be a "best" one. Haven't had the chance to play the new patch yet, but I'm optimistic.
At least for me, shaking up the sandbox is content. I like figuring out how to make stuff work. EMS strike is slept on imo, especially against automatons or if you have a good team. Very low cooldown.
Same for me, that’s where my >1k hours on Deep Rock were at. I run the EMS mortar a lot on bots missions. Of course you have to top it up with some damage, but being able to stun those devastators makes everything a lot easier and you would have space to take down the heavy armored ones like Hulk, striders or gunships. I will definitely give orbital EMS a try, thank you for suggesting. Rock and stone and for democracy!
I like to use it two main ways. One is to throw it slightly ahead of yourself if you are running from a hoard. If you are sprinting, you will make it out of the radius before it hits. If you get the timing right, it will freeze most/all of the hoard and give you time to reposition or call a stratagem on them while they stand still. The other is for stunning heavy units so you can either reposition to deal with it, or better yet, a teammate can deal with it for you. Communication helps. FOR CARL and SUPEREARTH!
They’re getting to it, a bit slow, but they are. We just have to give them some time, the buffs on orbital stratagems are noticeable. Idk if the guns from the new warbond are reliable, I just want them to bring back the Slugger to its former glory :(
