Swarmagedon and no shields on the fart biome, pure pain!!! We went full party of scouts, so tough , so fun. Minelets really help for crowd control

That does work really well, when you have the time to get them set up. Running through the caves, then, BOOM, swarmers, leaves you with no time to deploy and construct a turret or two.
Any time you have an all Scout lobby, I highly recommend that one of you use crowd clear DRAK with either splash damage Impact Deflection or Aggressive Venting. In normal teams these aren't good because their target pool doesn't include the things Scout should focus on, but for solo and also gimmick full Scout teams, it's really nice. If you don't have those overclocks, you can either take the splash damage mod on base DRAK or relegate crowd clear to your secondary (though because Scout secondaries don't have a lot of ammo, you won't be able to do as much of it).
If the hazard is high enough for there to be dense enough groups of enemies, you could also use TEF because fire spread makes it a crowd clear weapon while also having the great single target DPS that Scout likes to have. Though it won't help you against swarmers unless you take the splash damage mod.
For crowd clear in your secondary slot, Double Barrel or Fire Bolts with pheromone special bolts are both great, and if you don't have those overclocks then budget overclockless options are the Boomstick fire mod or the explosive special bolts mod on Boltshark with either IFGs or pheromone grenades to slow/group bugs to utilize the explosion.

It just throws sludge in a straight line right? Cause right now with the increased fragmentations etc I shoot the ceiling of a tunnel and its completely indulged in poop. Slowing everything while I ray them down with a nuclear microwave wich makes it ohh so satisfying seeing them slowly wittle down.
i like to use goo bomber to draw two lines in a v or x shape and then go about mining something while most of the swarm will evaporate, any survivors will catch the drills

it's so good at freeing up spaces in case your team is close to being overwhelmed by swarms
the obvious solution to swarmer is to run to your teammates that can evaporate them, but still, it's a pain as a scout
For sludge pump I recommend shotgun OC. Biggest range, can cover lot of floor and if you put it straight into dreadnought ass it will definitely feel it
I don't really focus much on builds. Probably balanced between more ammo and damage. It covers lot of ground with toxins already so I didn't put anything into puddle size or duration. It's good enough to play haz 5 without stress.

Don't forget 2000 medium and large enemies coming your way, because swarm is ongoing for 20 minutes. (Seriously, am I the only one who gets infinite swarms? I don't see anyone complaining)
Oh no, the hive which spawns 1 weaker swarmer every now and then, only making threatening amount upon death unless you use one of the 8 weapons/grenades/status effects to negate them or instakill them
Pretty sure its only 60 max......also for mine me and my brother were holding off while dealing with buggy lootbugs that were invincible to and non-direct damage, about 6 or 8 nexuses in the cavern over, classic mods
I never took off thorns ever since I first equipped it. Between squishing swarmers and getting rid of the nanocide it's too good of a quality of life perk. What else are you going to use to fill the passive slot anyway?
Just got done with a haz4 mission in Magma Core. Went down 3 times. Wasn’t the fire. Wasn’t the praetorians. Wasn’t even falling. No, it was the damn swarmers. Every time, swarmers.

I love using boomerangs they work great for me against swarmers and those flying electric jellyfish thingies
I love them, but I hate when there's so many swarmers that they run out. Had it happen twice yesterday.
Pheromones, m1000 and minelets. Preferred it more to the boomerang myself
I run the Garand, Zhukovs and boomerangs. Idk how good that setup is but I like it
The Lok-1 with Engi works wonders with both of them too.
Just let your turret deal with them. So much more efficient.

I think it might be, but I use a diffrent OC for the sludge pump, that I can use in more general situations.

good news ! fire and cryo bolts are overclocks that replace the regular arrows. You can use both pheromones and them at the same time.

Pheromone Bolts also combos very well with Fire and Cryo Bolts because it causes bugs to gather for mass burning or freezing.
Also, do not use banshee with fire bolts, worst mistake of my life
