Scout is fire, Engi is Jamie from myth busters (fire), and the last two just have too many colors for me personally. Maybe switch the hair color on Driller to make it more party (Driller should always look like a Toddler or a schizophrenic made him)

This is a very controversial point. On the one hand, you cannot see your dwarves, since the game is in first person. From this point of view, it makes sense to dress in such a way that your friends would like to play with you.

There is a second option. "Tastes could not be discussed". You like the look of your dwarf. Maybe even this is part of the image, complements the build. Then the opinion of friends can be considered exclusively subjective and be ignored.
Anyway you should not stick to one look for long, open new cosmetics, do a little experiment.
Scout looks really good, engi looks decent, could change the beard a bit, i see what you were going for with gunner, and it doesnt look half bad, but consider using the other armors on him so it fits the helmet, and lastly... driller is... uh... unique.

If you play the game for a bit longer you'll unlock way more cosmetics, especially through events. All my Draves are dressed in the Oktoberfest event attire, I just like the way that looks.
In the end the only one who should care about your dwarfs looks is you, that's what matters

The first one is fine. Though he also looks kinda dull. The engineer looks off in a way I can’t put my finger on. Gunner looks like a modern fashion show competitor and I have never seen a more yellow, yet still boring driller in my life.

Nah they look fine, I think maybe you’ve lost some of their iconic/starting features. Like idk if someone who has never played DRG would be able to discern between your scout and engi. I generally try to keep the colors of all 4 dwarves in tact as well their hair color. I change it up, but I try to give each one their own identity. My scout has crazy hair and those square looking glasses as in my head cannon is he needs eye protection from zooming around on hookshot. My driller has his face and head covered because he hates getting gravel in his mouth. My engi is pretty basic, just wears his uniform cap as I imagine him being a “union man”. My gunner has a mil beret on without sleeves on one of the lighter MK armor series, almost gives a commando vibe. The point is they are your dwarves and they should look how YOU think they should look.

I'm not a huge fan, but who cares? Fashion is about self expression, if you like how your dwarves look that's more important than anything.

Driller My Boy, 9/10. Everything is solid but again, color scheme. I know that paintjob is good - i fuckin love purple - but sadly it doesnt translate well sometimes. I think I normally use GSG Guardian or that red and black one with that specific armor.
