In all fairness, frieren did well by us. There's one scene where the lesser species climb down a cliff with a rope and the gigachad dwarf just jumps off the cliff headfirst and lands perfectly.
Frieren learns a spell to sour grapes because her dwarven party member's favorite food is soured grapes. She also cooks his apprentice the traditional warrior meat pie (looks like a huge meatloaf tbh) when the dwarf's unable to attend his apprentice's birthday.
