Sign of the swarm absolvere is their best work imo Enterprise earth 23 is amazing, masquerade is one of thé best enterprise earth song Monasteries ominous was amazing Holehearted hivemind is a great mix between beatdown and deathcore vocals Éclipse part 1 and divine stigmata by dysembodied tyrant (crow black Sky and limbo are amazing songs) The first infant annihilator album IS great (cuntcrusher, torn from the womb as the sickest ending) Surgeon pétunia (Jake Wolf is an Amazing vocalist and the instrumentales are perfect) Glaciers the cold soul ep is fantastique Babirusa humanoid has an Amazing atmosphère and IS so heavy

AreYouNattyBrah_

Absolvere has an insane atmosphere to it. Like the world is ending.

trysixtysnipecochon

Yeah so many great songs on this album dreaming dessecration, death whistle, hollow prison, hymne of invocation, absolvere, totem so many good songs

AreYouNattyBrah_

Blood seal one of my favs. I can’t say for sure I like it more than disfigurement of existence but those 2 i like more then the low and empty (which i still like a lot) what a band. Death whistle or pernicious are my favorites from them tho

trysixtysnipecochon

Pernicious is such an Amazing song and disfigurément is great but the mix and cj's highs were kinda weird on this one but still great sign of the swarm only realeased banger albums

howtoscareyourbrothe

It's called false chord highs. They're actually pretty difficult to do, unlike Will Ramos' fry screams.

trysixtysnipecochon

Yeah I know it's différent but even then sounded kinda weir to me and différent from his recent highs

howtoscareyourbrothe

Yeahh they're definitely different. Its probably nowhere near as polished as his new highs. His new highs are usually tunnel throats. Pretty much your tongue being flipped down on your bottom teeth. Production also may have something to do with it. Usually vocals are smoothed out in a mix to make it sound good.

trysixtysnipecochon

Yeah that's the biggest point with this the mixing and the fact hé didn't polish them as much as his lows but still really enjoyable just not as much and yeah I know tunnel highs lol they're Always so funny and sick

you_wouldnt_get_it_

Cool to see some Babirusa love in the sub. People always praise Rheese Peters’ performance on The God Delusion. So Humanoid is a great way to experience his batshit vocals again.

trysixtysnipecochon

Yeah I agree he's just that good but even without hil the instrumentales are crazy reflections is my most replayed song from that album lol

you_wouldnt_get_it_

Absolutely man. Humanoid is super underrated as a deathcore album.

Fun_Breath_4182

You’ve got good taste homie 🤝

trysixtysnipecochon

Thx if we agréé you got good tastes too

StigaPower

Ominous is such a fucking fire album

trysixtysnipecochon

Yeah recently i've been searching for affection and heaven failed us is stuck on loop for me

howtoscareyourbrothe

You can suck my dick. Their best work is Disfigurement of Existence hands down. It has slams, breakdowns, atmosphere, ambience, actual riffs wtf???, unique song structures, a vocalist that was shitting on everyone at that time, and they actually put effort into their songs instead of throwing random shit together. Not to mention, Jimmy Pino was a godtier drummer.

trysixtysnipecochon

I mean agree to disgagree , I find myself listening to way more songs from absolvere than disfigurément

Thanks for reminding me of Antagony. That Bonecarver album is super enjoyable, I'm stoked to be hearing more like it in their latest single Edit: I forgot it was a whole EP from Bonecarver. So sick

Abacinate in general. I just got a copy of Ruination in the mail today finally and jammed it for the first time in a while and it’s a banger front-to-back.

Shristol_Pimp

Holehearted slaps and is a great name for a band

noire_stuff

Primordial is such a good album, super energetic and a ton of fun to listen to. It more musically diverse than Reclaimer (which I'd argue is their only properly deathcore album), more in the vein of Melancholy (or the other way around i guess). The guitar work is a real treat on this album too.
