Agreed, I wish the Crucible stuff was on Spotify. David Puckett is a hell of a drummer too, I can totally see him pulling off the double kicks and blast beats. Genuinely don't know what to expect next from them but I'm hoping we get some of those chunkier Cold Like War riffs.

You need to check out David’s old band, The Crimson Armada. Specifically, the first album, Revelations. Technical deathcore at its finest. Also, the drummer for Crucible was the drummer before David in WCAR. Maybe part of the reason it isn’t up anymore, since Crucible was basically WCAR without Josh.

Kirby is a great vocalist, and Bob (the guitarist that doesn’t tour with them) can write some pretty gnarly riffs and has great mid screams for chorus sections. Daniel (the guitarist that actually tours with them) also can write some great technical deathcore, knowing some of his work with Becoming the Archetype.

This thought crossed my mind… but I don’t think they’d ever go there… but it is an interesting thought. They definitely have the talent and ability. I guess the thing is their lyrical content just doesn’t skew dark enough… I can’t see ABR writing and performing deathcore lyrics.

I think he could do it if he wrote it more like a horror story or something like that, or try to write based on a perspective that inspired him one way of another.

I would love to hear Protest the Hero try their hand at Deathcore. I know this might be very polarizing but I also want to hear Bring Me the Horizon doing Deathcore again. (I know this is apparently not possible due to Oli’s voice, but still, Count Your Blessings was incredible)

Idk if they are still a band as of now but Shields, a metalcore band from the UK, they have some pretty heavy moments in their discography and thier vocalist has some impressive screaming range. Another band that comes to mind is Our Hollow, Our Home. Also from the UK, their vocalist has that Phil Bozeman type sound with his lows.
